He could really hurt Gentaro if he wanted to and this was along time coming. A zoo keeper once told me that the silverback has to be rough at times to prove hes a good provider. Bless this family. Tout à fait d'accord avec vos propos. Il y a une hiérarchie dans une troupe de gorilles que chacun doit respecter et le dos argenté est là pour rappeler la règle même brutalement s'il le faut. Il n'est pas question pour une jeune de faire n'importe quoi, ni d'agresser sans raison la femelle dominante avec un petit. Genki étant la seule femelle est la femelle dominante et dans la mesure où elle a un petit , elle est protégée , normalement pas le dos argenté face à une agression. Cela étant, les conflits quels qu'ils soient sont toujours réglés par le dos argenté dans la troupe. La façon de faire peut paraître brutale, mais il ne faut pas se leurrer, les gorilles (et on l'a vu entre Gentaro et Kintaro) sont plutôt brutaux entre eux sans que cela ait de conséquences. Ils sont suffisamment forts ( musculairement puissants) même à l'âge de Gentaro pour supporter une morsure (contrôlée) du dos argenté. Si ce dernier avait décidé d'être vraiment très agressif avec Gentaro, il n'en aurait fait qu'une bouchée. Non! un dos argenté contrôle sa force dans sa troupe et même s'il peut faire très peur (ce qu'il a voulu faire ici) il ne blesse que très rarement (et toujours sans le vouloir) un membre de sa troupe.

Gentaro has been doing some really nasty things at times to Genki, I honestly dont know how she does it! For a small time I thought Gentaro was settling down some, but then he was back to grabbing and dragging his brother, which puts my heart in my throat! At least dad done what any father would, he told the child to respect his momma. In other videos the son had plenty of times to be warned but dad had enough and that's awesome. I think Gentaro acted impulsive. He saw his mum get some more food he waited for. I guess he has a lot of hormones running wild being a teenager. Momotarou did his job as a Silverback and father but he didn't hurt Gentaro much. Gentaro didn't limp and he didn't have any wounds but he was looking for some to use as sympathy wounds (my opinion). Genki loves Gentaro and would never let Momotarou hurt her boy bad but this was long coming. Gentaro needs to know that action have consequences. Now this is discipline at its finest.....this interaction lasted maybe a minute or 2 and message received....Bravo Momo....No permanent injuries and all is quiet on the Homefront....Talking is overrated and most of the time futile in our society, especially with adolescent's and teens...and let's not forget about C.P.S....So No this type of discipline is not acceptable in our society but it sure works and certainly makes an impact because Momo never overreacts and is very gentle..So when Big Papa gets pissed, watch out....He played his role to Perfection as a Silverback and head of his family....You just dont hit your Mom PERIOD...Gorilla or Human it's just not acceptable...This family is AWESOME and at the end of the day there's nothing but LOVE real unconditional Love....❤🙈🙊🙉❤
I loved the way mum steps in to calm the situation down so even when gentaro is a handful she didn't want gentaro to be badly hurt if she had left the situation badly god knows what would have happened to gentaro due to dad's fit of rage oh my goodness for me that was frightening to watch thank goodness for mums quick response from gentaro,s de-stress the way he sceamed oh Phew wee all is calm down now thank goodness. I am hoping Momotaro learns to stay a little closer to Genki and the baby, and learns to observe Gentaro's behavior a little more carefully. With his intimidating presence, he could perhaps head off some of these violent encounters before they come to blows.

I think Gentaro acted impulsive. He saw his mum get some more food he waited for. I guess he has a lot of hormones running wild being a teenager. Momotarou did his job as a Silverback and father but he didn't hurt Gentaro much. Gentaro didn't limp and he didn't have any wounds but he was looking for some to use as sympathy wounds (my opinion). Genki loves Gentaro and would never let Momotarou hurt her boy bad but this was long coming. Gentaro needs to know that action have consequences.

Now this is discipline at its finest.....this interaction lasted maybe a minute or 2 and message received....Bravo Momo....No permanent injuries and all is quiet on the Homefront....Talking is overrated and most of the time futile in our society, especially with adolescent's and teens...and let's not forget about C.P.S....So No this type of discipline is not acceptable in our society but it sure works and certainly makes an impact because Momo never overreacts and is very gentle..So when Big Papa gets pissed, watch out....He played his role to Perfection as a Silverback and head of his family....You just dont hit your Mom PERIOD...Gorilla or Human it's just not acceptable...This family is AWESOME and at the end of the day there's nothing but LOVE real unconditional Love....❤🙈🙊🙉❤

I loved the way mum steps in to calm the situation down so even when gentaro is a handful she didn't want gentaro to be badly hurt if she had left the situation badly god knows what would have happened to gentaro due to dad's fit of rage oh my goodness for me that was frightening to watch thank goodness for mums quick response from gentaro,s de-stress the way he sceamed oh Phew wee all is calm down now thank goodness. Yes saw gentaro grab food out of mums hold but I didn't think that dad saw it what Gentaro did but obviously that was the case and dad disaplined gentaro but all is calm now n the gorilla house

deadsmoke he does lol he doesn’t stand for any mess when it comes to Genki lolol even I’m a little shaken. We had no idea he was coming it all happened so fast lol Genki saw him coming too and she just continued to eat. Lol. She’s usually interfere at that point when she saw him charging but she let him and only screamed when it got physical. Even then she didn’t put up as much as she usually does.
