I am guessing riddle and cater had some sort of relationship but because he was the head guard and riddle was the queen I could not happen. I'm guessing someone framed him for breaking a rule, so it was off with his head.
This is an interesting viewpoint. I commend you for sharing your take... I must say that anyone may think of the characters' relationships as either romantic or platonic. That is completely up to everyone's interpretations. [Except certain ships that are seen here in the channel such as MalleYuu and DeuAce. I saw some Ship discourse about a pairing and some people hating it cuz they were using a human age scale... The ship I am referring to is Deuce x malleus. Personally I'm in the middle ground.
I have two theories; 1. Carter died from a battle or he could have died from breaking a rule (most likely framed by “someone”). By this someone, probably a dark entity. This dark entity took over Carter's body and is now possessing it. I also believe that this “Guard” is manipulating and controlling Riddle and possibly Trey as well. (Riddle has bluish-gray eyes in the game however here, he has red eyes when the guard is around and he also has these red diamond pupils in his eyes when the guard isn’t around. Trey has Warm hazel eyes in the game and he has one of them but the other is red. Also, 0:16 or 0:15 had a red smile. With both these factors, I believe the “guard” is controlling them, mostly riddle). Or it could be the opposite where Carter is dead but their soul is trapped and cannot move on to the afterlife and are possessed by the dark entity. (The guard's face is panicked or in fear at 0:15 or 0:16) 2. Carter isn’t dead but somewhere trapped and his body is being possessed by this dark entity. As I said before in the first theory, the “guard” could be controlling, mostly Riddle. Maybe Carter is trying to fight back and that's where you see the fear at 0:15 or 0:16. Overall, those are the 2 theories I have. I don’t know for sure which one is correct but I can’t wait to see more of this! However, I can say that this dark entity (if there is one), probably wants power and is trying to destroy Riddle so that it can take over his body (Just like what happened in the game when he overbolts). Can’t wait to see more and learn more yummy lore! :D
Okay, I went back and did some more digging: I noticed they all have diamond-shaped pupils (don’t know if Carter does but this could possibly It's a style thing, idk). HOWEVER! I CAN PROVE THAT CARTER DID DIE! In the video “You’re Never Getting Rid of Me,” there is a jumbled name (Carter's name I believe), and with was beheaded. So if we put Carter's name and replace it with the jumbled name it would say, “Carter was beheaded”. With both of these videos and out together, they confirm that Carter is dead and was beheaded. Now this helps theory one but the question that remains is; What did he do to get beheaded? 🧐

If I remember correctly, Chenya is Cheshire Cat in TW however for this story, Yuu is Cheshire (It makes me wonder what happen to him? Was he killed or isn’t in this story). But Imma look over at Yuu design is black and purple which doesn’t match Chenya color palette at all. We don’t have very much info so I can’t confrim anything. Yuu seems to have a gut feeling that disaster will strike, while the other carefree ppl (Ace & Deuce) dont notice. Riddle seems to get along with Trey but also notices somethign is off(?) we then see Cater's ghost appearing behind Riddle almost like he's haunting the former. we cant really tell what he's feeling with his set in place expression, but it looks almost taunting/mocking the Queen. maybe it's amusement? next, we see Cater's grave with a bunch of purple flowers from ppl who paid their respects. purple flowers r quite an interesting choice, but if you search up their meaning, one of them is grief. it's said "purple flowers can symbolize sorrow and regret, making them appropriate for funeral settings." and where r these flowers at? Cater's grave, most likely meaning a funeral was held. additonally, purple flowers can mean spirituality which, according to the oxford dictionary, (NAH IM SITING MY SOURCES...) "the quality of being connected with religion or the human spirit" a spirit can also mean ghost, and we can clearly see cater's spirit hanging around Wonderland, specfically Riddle. we see a single purple tulip in front of the grave as Cater stares at his grave. a purple tulip can mean royalty and the only royalty in Wonderland is noneother than the QoH, Riddle. adding to that, "purple tulips are often used in royal funerals." im thinking Riddle placed that flower (UNLESS IM DIVING TOO DEEP LMAO). ok, it then glitches to Cater and Trey happily talking, probably hanging out over some tea and pastries. it has their eyes crossed out with a crying face over Cater's and what i assume is a worried face over Trey's. Trey seems (im using that word sm..) to be worried over Cater, refrencing back to the OG, Cater masks his true feelings and puts on a fake demeaner. i then shows Cater frowning and Riddle who's talking. there's an angry face on Riddle who seems to be mad that Cater broke a rule (in my pov). Cater, instead of black, has his eyes crossed off in red. red is the color of blood and yknow what's also crossed off? CATER'S NECK (which i almost missed omg). MEANNINGGG he got beheaded!!!!! DYING IN THE HANDS OF RIDDLEEE. (im way too happy abt this) and then it shows Cater's ghost in the same pose and spot. it shows the throne room now with Deuce and Trey before their Queen with expressions of discomfort, unsureness, somthing like that. it seems the death of Cater has made its way around Wonderland and im sure Cater was close to the two, being friendly to basically everyone in the OG and probably this AU. nevertheless, the two smile at their Queen but the tenseness never goes away, showing sad faces over their eyes. they still feel dejected at their friend's death and more so as a companion they love caused it (does that even make sense?). then it shows Riddle feeling somewhat guilty at killing Cater, showing how he was a close friend and ally to him but instead of letting it slide, he picked his rules over his friend and it's "too late to start caring about him (Cater)." Riddle then is shown crying, curling into a ball, giving more evidence that he is grief-struck with the invisible blood of his former friend/guard in his hands. Cater's ghost is seen standing over him, watching him weep in silence. WOAH GOT A BIT INTO MY WRITING THERE HAH anyways, holy fiddlesticks this is so long... I KEPT GETTING DISTRACTED WHEN WRITING THIS AHH 😭😭 ONE MORE THING THOUGH!!! for Cater's design, i just noticed now that we can see Cater briefly alive, he has a giant bow on the back of him. could it be so that his head is intact and serves as liek a holder so he has a full body? im not going to go into bow symbolism as i think it doesnt relate to anyhting here. anyways lovely vid! cant wait for calamity to strike >:D (it took me an hour to write this rehagksgds this is my fault for having so many yt tabs open 😔)
