Lovely. I like your idea of just adding a Christmas touch to your collection. This beats trying to store all your decor in order to decorate for Christmas.
I love ironstone and have a moderate collection. Sometimes you can find a piece that is not antique that looks wonderful with the antique ones. Enjoyed the music too.
Love, love, love it All. the bottle bush trees and santa mugs fit perfectly among the beautiful iron stone,... great job, so fun, to have 11 more videos to watch your decorating and lil angel Claire😇
It looks wonderful. I watch a lady that uses pinking shears and cuts strips of newspaper. It looks so nice as a filler and can hang out of things as well.
Hello my friend! Excited for thriftmas!😊 I'm glad you decided on the bottle brush trees! That would have been my choice as well! I love old tins & plan to start picking up more. But the Christmas ones are my fav, all of the ones i have but maybe a couple, are Christmas. My fav one, that i cherish, is from the Merita bread company & held a fruitcake. So its round & not very deep. But for as long as i can remember my mama had the exact same tin in her sewing drawer.. with thread, buttons, scissors, zippers, bobbins, etc. I was in an 2 story antique store and had just walked up the stairs, turned & looked down, on the bottom of a shelf there sat that tin full of spools of thread! I ran & grabbed it of course. I did pay mite than i wanted to but the lady said the spools of thread were $2 each, they were pretty old. I told her I'd just take the tin. So as she was ringing me up & wrapping pieces i old her why i was buying the tin. At the end she dumped every spool back in & said i could just have them! The was about 15 or so old wood spools. I choked up & my eyes leaked just a little. That was def A God wink that day! Girl the hutch looks beautiful!! Love the candles, so pretty & look perfect in the hutch! I enjoyed the video! Thanks for sharing! I pray you have a blessed week!🙏🏻
Hi Genevieve. I don't comment on videos often. But I've followed you forever! I'm the one awhile back that commented that your dogs toenails scared me because it sounded like someone creeping up behind me. 😂 The hutch looks absolutely gorgeous. I have a Santa mug collection but no old ones.I sold some of my duplicates this week. The girl who bought them lives in New Jersey too. She doesn't know how they happened to pop up on her marketplace because I'm in Maryland. 🤷♀Just so happens her good friend lives 20 minutes from me and is picking them up for her. Funny huh? I hope you and your little family have the best Christmas ever! ~ Aimee
We're all excited that you're doing thriftmas, but please don't wear yourself out! It's such a busy season, especially with a baby! Your hutch looks super pretty ❤

Definitely!
Rice works very well when you are trying to add height to an item. It molds to the piece and makes it really easy. But your trick totally works too!
Just absolutely beautiful.

I watched that two with a lady that uses regular strips and it was beautiful too
This is a great idea. I think it would be cute to use pinking shears on some old Music and use it as filler.
That’s YoUniquely Vintage You. Her name is Michele and her sister Cheryl. ❤
