First, the mom is amazing for caring for her child. Second, the child saying " mommy dont be mad at me" broke me.
Third, when steve asked her to step further back i could hear the pain in his voice.
Sammi i agree. I want to hug this mom you can just feel the pain she felt when she found out her daughter was molested. All moms want to do is to protect there kids. And you can tell that this mom feels like a failure. But she is not a failure she did the right thing for coming to Steve for help. And I just want to hug this beautiful mom and that poor girl.

You can tell she’s an amazing mom. The fact that her daughter knew that she can talk to her mom about it just shows how much she trust her mother. That little girl knew that her mom would protect her and make her feel safe. I love the passion the mom has for her kids. She reminds me of my mom. My mama would kill anyone who hurts me and my sisters!

I wish my mother believed me when I was molested from 8 to 15..I told police and despite all the evidence presented to her,my 'mother' stayed with him. And she disowned me..I recently found out at 43,that my mother told my sister she stayed with him, because he was due to get a MASSIVE veterans affairs payout..So my safety meant absolutely nothing to her..Oh and subsequently he ended up raping 4 of my other siblings. Yet she believed it once my youngest sister came out....

The look in Steve’s eyes. I’ve seen very few episodes where he himself has stepped in between two people. He was so hurt for her and he stopped her from attacking him so she could go home to her babies.

When she said baby girl said “mommy, don’t be mad at me”, I busted out crying. When a child says that, you kno something crazy or bad is about to be said. I’m so happy she believed her daughter, and didn’t think it was something she made up. I would love to kno if he’s in prison.

It don't always work that way. I know someone that took the dads side and took the ex back into her and the kids life, because now after the girl told someone many times daddy was touching her and her peepee hurt. He became a saint after being mean to everyone for over 10 years. Now he is the best daddy and lover ever and saying he loves his kids. With that no one took the girls side only the person she told. All the way to her brother saying at least twice. His daddy said it was OK to touch sissy, mom and grandma down there. They don't have no no squares. CPS took the kids away from the person turning him into CPS. Never to see kids again or parents lose kids. CPS agrees with dad. That the person made it all up in hate. Even though the kids went to that person about it. Child molesters are set free all the time. Not enough proof. As long as the kids don't tell CPS. Nothing can be done.

True the person that did it to me as a little girl ages 2-6 I never understood what and why it was happening. He bought me things and threatened to kill my family and he even threatened to kill me if I would have told my family. It took me to age 19 truly to say what happened to me it’s sad I truly hope and wish the best for her daughter because those scars are hard to heal

I remember using those exact words before telling somebody about my assaults. the worst part is kids genuinely feel like they were the ones in the wrong...sometimes they dnt even have to be told they will get in trouble if they tell...its just they feel like if they tell its going to cause drama and fights. Nobody wants to be the reason somebody is fighting...
I used the same sentence while telling my mom. I was so scared she would be mad at me for something that was not my fault

I felt very upset when the daughter said to her mom don't be mad at me. Kids at that age don't know right from wrong yet! We as adults have to teach them, as they grow older to let them know what's right & what's wrong. Like you said, kids just automatically feel like they did something wrong and not sure if it was or not. Just glad she did tell her mom what was happening before it continued.

Man I have been through sexual harassment by my uncle for years myself. So watching this i can feel every spark of her pain and emotion through the screen. It’s painful and so hard to describe it’s horrible. Especially when it’s a person who’s related to you….I hope this man got way more worse karma.
Is there anyone in your family aware of what's been going on? Depending on what he's doing, maybe go to the police? If you're a minor, seriously consider the police option. An assault may just be a matter of time.
I feel it, it was my grandfather who molested me and it still fucks me up, i cant talk about it without crying or freezing up with discomfort.

I knew he was guilty before I even saw him. Just by seeing how genuinely upset the mother was when recounting the story, she knew her daughter wasn't lying. Probably because of how genuinely upset the daughter herself was when telling her mother what that monster did to her.
As a survivor of SA, I know that when telling your story, there's a certain emotion coming through that you just can't fake. The trauma, the look in your eyes that remember the horrors and the fear making your voice tremble. You can't fake that.
Thankfully i have never been SA but i feel bad for people who have, a lot of cases are untold which hurts me because no one deserves to suffer like that, I hope who ever hurt you got what they deserved

I agree, an update would be nice to have. From my guess: Calvin would be in prison for what he has done to his daughter. Even if he does get released, he will have to register on being a sex offender meaning his life will be all ruined, also he would be given a dishonorable discharge from the military. He will be disowned and hated by everyone. He is just another guest who is a disgrace.

I agree with you on that! I'm survivor of sexual assault as well but not only me but my sisters and my brother also were victims of sexual assault at the hands of my own birth father! One year after my mom's death from breast cancer we were living in our car with my sisters and I saw my own dad raping my eldest sister, Lisa! One night my elder sister Lisa was being raped mouth own dad!

I remember when I was touched as a 14 almost 15 year old girl by my uncle. I couldn't tell anyone and was withdrawn from my uncle, until I finally told someone, that someone was my former stepdad and fortunately he believed me. When I finally told my mom and grandma what my uncle did, my mom started crying and hugging me and my grandma was upset that her own son would do that to her own granddaughter. It's been years since my court case with him and he's dead and gone, but some of those memories still haunt me where I felt like it was my fault. Here I am as a strong young woman, not letting my past haunt me and moving forward with my life

reminds me of a dude who killed someone in prison for being a cho mo. The judge told him, that only god is able to judge people. The guy replied, "Yep, and gods going to judge him. I just set up the appointment."
He probably either offed himself or at least tried to knowing what he was going to face and go through depending upon what and where he was placed in the prison that he landed in.... I hope he's under the jail and in hell where he belongs......

When Steve told her to step away after the first question, I knew he failed right then and there. Steve also sounded so disappointed saying the results too! I hope that man gets hit by bad karma and hate from every angle of his life for what he did to her child.

Anyone notice that every innocent person will always acknowledge the question as Steve reads it? They will either always say aloud ‘yes’ or ‘no’, or shake their heads ‘yes’ or ‘no’ in response, while a guilty person will remain still and not answer… just waiting for the results and hoping they beat the test. Body language really is important when it comes to weeding out dishonesty.

The biggest red flag was that he said he’s going to pass because he’s a marine. If you know the material on the test, and studied, you don’t need to cheat. Same for this. You don’t need to make up excuses to say why you’ll pass. He should say he’ll pass because he’s innocent.
