Just to point out for YT universe, the venue that you were in and enjoyed their food, serves, basically no argue about it, serves THEA BEST smash burgers in Belgrade!!
good morning Jay. I am a frequent commenter and wanted to let you know I am in Canada for my first time. We arrived in Vancouver yesterday and am going on a Gaslight food tour today. wishing you fun travels!
Hi Kathy! Yes I see you in the comments quite often! I'm glad you have made it to Vancouver and I assume it's a Gas Town walking food tour you are doing! Enjoy your time there. We kinda miss it, but really don't. But have a great time!!!
@@JayandSarah honestly, I knew you are Canadian, but not Vancouverians. The walking eating tour was wonderful and very authentic. We went to Meat and bread, Meet up, the donut place, a good Mexican place on Blood alley and more. I'm full and relaxing back in our wonder Airbnb in North Vancouver. If you ever need a place to stay when you go home, I highly recommend this place. The owners live upstairs.
The Burgers looks big. But I think that "Smasher & Co. Belgrade", down at the waterfront has bigger and better ones. And if you are able eat their biggest one, you dont have to pay for it.
Jay, that's more meat than I eat in two years!, but impressed that you did it.👍 Maybe someone knows, but I think another difference is traditional pljeskavica is a mix of beef and pork, not 100% beef like this Smash Burger. But like you said they're two different things. Also cheddar cheese is not too common here, but I see it more and more lately. Hope you can get back to Serbia some time and see the country outside of Belgrade.
Yes plejeskavica will never have only beef, it is a mix beef, pork and at times lamb. This is why it is not the same, they don't even taste the same. And as you say, cheddar cheese... well, this would never be on pljeskavica. We sure do want to come back, to visit other places for sure.
If you check our video list you will see we did a "NO MCDONALD IN ALBANIA" video and actually made our own Big Macs. When we are back there I will film at a place I know.
What you ate is gay variant of pljeskavica . Order somewhere 1/2 kilo gurmanska or punjena (filled ) pljeskavica with all of garnirung . You gonna go 2 time in wc before you can eat it . Dont eat those I-dont-wont-to -be-bigmac-but-I-am things.
Did you actually watch the video in its entirety? I was not looking for pljeskavica. I've had enough pljeskavica, I know exactly what it is, and I like it. It's even in videos I have already produced. Pljeskavica is NOT better than a western style burger, and not all burgers are pretend McDonalds. That place makes great food, and apparently tons of locals go there - or it wouldn't. be in business.
Thanks for the grammar lesson. My wife gives me a hard time for saying that as well. I’m 51, those words aren’t going away. I hope you liked the video!
@@JayandSarah The point is, English is your native language and you should know this. It is NOT my native language and yet I still noticed it. The video is nice. But, where are you? It's been ten days since the video... Hope you didn't end up in a hospital after HAVING EATEN that huge burger.
@@AlexM-t6h even with native language you still make grammar mistakes. When you are on camera pushing out thoughts , you end up with what you get. We are currently in Mostar, I did not die from the burger. A few weeks off from filming just due to the immense heat in the area.
It is a great western burger for sure. Pljeskavica is no better, they are completely different things. I have ate enough Pljeskavica to know. They are both great.
I like their pljeskavica, too. The best.
Yep. I have ate a LOT of pljeskavica.
Thank you so much very Nice vidéo !! Absulutely beautiful city Belgrade ❤❤Vive la Serbie 🇷🇸 🇷🇸 🇷🇸
Yes the architecture is very nice. A vibrant capital city for sure. Thanks for watching, we also have some other videos from our time in Belgrade.

We saw there was another one but farther away from where we were, but we were very impressed by these smash burgers! Thanks for watching!
You got the "Triple-Triple"?! You are a brave man!!!
@@Brave2standalone it was great!!!👍
Great burger, Great Video 😃
Thank you 😋

One of our kids used to be a bartender at the Mexican place on blood alley. Glad you are having fun.

Good to know. Sounds like my next trip to Belgrade includes a free meal. I can do whatever they serve up.

Uh, the "GRAMMAR POLICE" is cruising the Internet and issuing demerits!
Nope. That's not better then Gurmanska Pljeskavica, beats any western burger by far, i tried it.

This is too much.
It was. I didn’t eat for 24 hours afterwards.
