I can already hear the trolls writing hateful replies to my comment, although I don't know why they do this, because I don't see anything disrespectful or wrong in my comments. This said, I would like to mention, that English is not my first language and I currently learning Chinese. I would call myself a China enthusiast and I'm playing with the idea of moving to China. The more I learn about China and the more I discuss this on platforms like YT, the more I become sceptical about my idea. Reading the comments under videos about life in China like this one here, leaves a certain taste in my mouth, because the comments are 90% always the same. It's a little suspicious to me. But if I point this out, I get attacked, insulted and get baseless accussations thrown at me. Even when I write only positive comments about China and be a "good little yes-man", I get just ignored or attacked by the China haters. I wish I wouldn't know about some words I learned while researching about [life in] China, but now it's too late. I have had good conversations and bad conversations on the internet, with people who said they are Chinese. My education is neither bad nor extra-ordinary, I have several years of work experience in my field, I'm single, healty and would consider myself more introverted. The working market in China isn't that good right now, and even many young Chinese can't find a job. Additional to this, as a single male, you get a lot of hate from Chinese men who think you want to take away Chinese women. Havin talked to alot of diaspora living in China, they kind of tell me the same. No matter how much you try, no matter how much effort you put into it, as a non-asian, you will never be accepted as a Chinese. There are the well known big cities with a higher per centage of "foreigners" living there, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, ... but it sounds like foreigners are only "tolerated" and not "accepted". Feel free to change my mind and disagree or prove me wrong on this impression I got so far. More and more channels appear like they want to sell you the idea of moving to China and I don't blame them, because the world has become a less safe place in the past few years and moving to China sounds promising. Until you hit the hard ground of reality and find out that China has its own socially and economically problems. And talking about these problems is like putting a target on your forehead, for not agreeing with everything, being quiet about it and act like a hollow yes-man without a personality. And Chinese people [as I experienced] will not hesitate to call you a "colonizer" or something, if you dare to speak up or suggest a different way. Because I like the open dialoge, I would like to hear you guys opinion about what I have learned about life in China so far. And feel free to use more than just four words, calling me an idiot.

How cute your outfit marks you as a Chinese lady. Is it time to show your daughter your hometown for a spell, so she has connections to her culture?
I'm afraid we won't visit home any time soon. Yes i wear my suncover like the Chinese ladies!🤣🤣 they taught me well 😅
