Great video!! Any tips for making human perlers? (Like the last keychain on the bag?) I want to make a character from a video game but don’t know how to do it without being really detailed
Heya! I recommend checking out a few games’ styles and go from there. That last one is from Stardew Valley. Maybe consider games from the SNES or NES era? Or games that emulate that pixel-style? Using mini-sized beads might also make a more detailed sprite come out smaller. :) Let me know if you need more specific ideas!
Do you have any tips on how to use big images to make small pieces? when I looked for images and put them into the perlypop app and tried to resize to make smaller it just crops the images instead
Hmm, that’s a really good question. I’m not familiar with PerlyPop at all… I wonder if there’s a way to resize pictures BEFORE you use the app? You can try some free image editing websites like pixlr.com or gimp.org or photopea.com or something along those lines. Then maybe transfer it over to your phone and use PerlyPop then? Let me know if that works!
If those don’t work well, try grabbing the free version of Aseprite and play around with it there. You can take a screenshot instead of saving it, but i recommend buying it if you can spare the $20. Super great pixel art program!
@@BigBossRazz resizing image didn’t work people recommend using the mini beads as the finished piece is then smaller. Will watch some videos on Aesprite. Thank you again for helping me!
Heya, I got the Sunbeam Hot-2-Trot Travel Steam Iron from Amazon. I think YT will block links, but if you give it a search, I'm sure you'd be able to find it at a nearby store.
@@Sunflower_1108 You could either leave that one bead NOT fully ironed to leave some space, or you can forcefully poke a hole with a sturdy but small utensil, like some tweezers or maybe even a fork!
What keychain would you make to follow you around?
