I'm sure it has to do with budget but have you guys noticed that, after episode 3, Firestorm and Atom haven't had same episodes where they use their powers? For instance, episodes 4 & 5 had Soviet Firestorm and Ray following Snart's "date" and in jail so he never used his suit. In episode 6, where they went to the future, they mostly focused on the love triangle and did show both toward the end but it was only a few seconds. Then in episodes 7 & 8, Ray used the suit to fix the ship and steal the dagger from Savage. Firestorm conveniently could not use their powers because they were in a confined ship and then Jax was injected so Stein couldn't communicate with him. So, it isn't a surprise anytime one of them cannot use their powers in an episode because I think it could be intentional.

While Rip is stranded there, he discovered a new, much larger threat than Vandal, who eventually devours Rip's hope and influences him to become a bounty hunter due to his previous skills as a Time Master. He would obviously be provided a new ship, and if he tries to disobey this threat, they can threaten him with his family, as they would be alive when Savage is defeated. P.S. Ray didn't encounter Savage in the 70's Arms Deal. He was miniaturized in his power suit during the entire arms deal, and he was in Stein's coat pocket. So there was no way that Vandal could've seen Ray before he already deduced that they were time travelers. They didn't make an accident with him being seen in the 50's with Kendra, everything is fine.

Flash runs in and knocks all the non powered humans out, then knocks out Savage (Who has no combat based powers) then Kendra or Carter slits his knocked out throat! OR BETTER STILL! In this episode right after they steal back the dagger they go back to the Waverider and have this conversation. Kendra - So we know exactly where Savage will be sleeping tonight and we have the dagger that can kill him! How hard is it for a team of superhumans to murder one guy who's only powers are a healing factor that takes days to take effect and Houdini style magic tricks? If they had brought the flash along on day one the series would have ended in the fucking pilot, and don't say "If he'd have died it would have destroyed the time stream" because he can catch a bullet... a goddamn bullet! - remember the arms deal? Flash runs in and knocks all the non powered humans out, then knocks out Savage (Who has no combat based powers) then Kendra or Carter slits his knocked out throat! OR BETTER STILL! In this episode right after they steal back the dagger they go back to the Waverider and have this conversation.
Kendra - So we know exactly where Savage will be sleeping tonight and we have the dagger that can kill him!
Rip - Well that's convenient, Ray, give Kendra the Atom suit so she can shrink down, sneak into Savages house while he's asleep and cut his throat, make sure to give him a sedative first before you become full sized again so he doesn't wake up when you stab down at him like every fucking villain ever, then just stab him and I'll take you all back home, future saved without having to recklessly endanger the rest of the team!
