The thing about Thawne using his super speed to create a thrust, is that there are no air particles is space. There's nothing to push against to make wind or thrust. The third law of motion. That and you can't control yourself without gravity once your midair, unless you push off from something or someone pushed you.
Damn it, legends of tomorrow have me in tears AGAIN. Second time now. Kind of hit me at the death scene. Hit me even harder in the scene where Nate talks to his dad. Props
23:30 : Actually (if I'm not mistaken ^^), Thawne totally did that move against Firestorm during that big battle at the end of The Flash, season 1. Firestorm got ejected MILES AWAY in a single blow, and Barry had to run to catch him before he hit a building.
@@cosmicmaster1006 Late, i know but the speedforce probably doesnt have jurasdiction in space, i mean the multiverse map shows the speedforce is external to the earth.
@@finh8895 but look at the vanishing point, it's basically just floating in space, the same as the rocket but barry and thawne were able to use their speed there. Also Thawne is connected to the negative speedforce
Well acctually gravity in space existes, gravity existes everyere. The floting we see in movies and tv is acctually the bodys in orbit perpetually in the point betweenfalling and escaping the gravity pull of a planet, but even if you escape the gravity pull gravity is still there is just not strong enough a force to pull you to the planet couse there are other celestial bodies creating gravity as well. Anyway... nothing matters cause the show is about time travel and super powers hahahaha but anyawu physics rule
So, as he is the flashpoint remnant, he is from an alternate reality, that he and Barry left, and came to the new reality. In the new reality, instead of escaping after killing Nora, he was stuck and had to become Harrison Wells and create the flash to get home, but he fails and gets erased from the timeline, which then effects the flashpoint remnant as well. Welcome to time travel with the flash

Thawne would still have a past. Eddie killing himself essentially created a new timeline and Eobard would retain his memory of that ended timeline. It's very similar to how when Barry created Flashpoint, he was still able to remember the original timeline before he created Flashpoint. Now, there's no saying whether Eobard would start to forget it after a while, much like Barry was forgetting his original timeline during Flashpoint.
The Legends can/did leverage what Wellsobard said in S2 "Flashback": 'Well, self-preservation is a very strong motivator, but he stays in the cell until I say otherwise.'
Barry took the eobard from the past (after eddies death) while he was time travelling in the speed force before his non-existence was permanent. And the black flash couldn't find Thawne during flashpoint because he was trapped in a cell that negated his powers.
Can someone explain which version of Thawne are we watching on Legends? **SPOILER ALERT (but not that much)** when he's in the moon with Ray fixing the rocket, he said "he missed it" referring to working with other scientists, he mentions working with Cisco and Caitlin, which, for what I understand, is not possible. Wasn't Harrison Wells' Thawne erased from time at S1 finale. Then the version that came back in S2 was an earlier version, as they explain: He was a version of him that got protected by the speedforce so he would continue to exist. There he learned what time the flash was originally from, and learned WHEN to go to kill Barry's mom. Then he gets stuck with no powers for 14 years and there we pick up with S1 Wells/Thawne. The version we saw in S3E1 was just before he killed Barry's mom, he was taken to Flashpoint by Barry. At the end of that episode, Barry has to ask him to kill his mom, which he does. Then that same Thawne, the one that just killed Nora, took Barry back to the new timeline and then he goes off to Legends. So this version didn't spent 14 years waiting for Barry to get older and give him his powers, therefore: The only time he saw Cisco Ramón and Caitlin Snow was in that episode of S2 which in his lifeline takes place before Nora Allen's murderer. So, HE DID NOT WORK WITH THEM, LIKE NEVER. That´s how I understand Thawne´s life
CarlosAndrés Abarca Furniss I think the writers just confused the timeline of Thawne in this episode. That got me confused too, but I just went on this channel (emergency awesome) and he cleared it up.
Brandon Collins you're right he's from season 2 but a little bit later when he goes to kill Nora, the difference is he didn't spent those 14 years stranded in this time
LoT has been my absolute favorite of the CW shows this season. It's so damn fun. P.S. Can't wait to see you guys react to all those glorious Cell Games shorts from TFS. I almost don't want them to release episode 57 if it means more of those.
After Amaya leaves they will need a new team member.Just have the ship travel to doctor who's earth. They can bring the 10th the doctor (David Tennant) on to the team.
If Reverse Flash was to try to create a vortex by waving his arms around, his body would start spinning out of control from the movement. He'd have to secure himself to something, like strap himself into a chair, to be able to control it.
Reverse Flash makes the comment that he doesn't like doing physical labor without his super speed (using the screwdriver) so it's NOT that he doesn't choose to use his power, but that he can't.If it was just "I don't want to attract the Black Flash in this small capsule, they would have said it. But this does raise the fact that he uses his speed to disguise himself as the astronaut, even while in space.
Reverse Flash I believe works like this. Before Flashpoint, There was the Thawn that took over Harrison Wells, and became him. That man was erased from the timeline. The current Thawn is the one who traveled back in time to kill Flash's Mom, but was stopped, thus creating Flashpoint. He was the one trapped, and the reason he is being chased from the Black Flash is due to the fact his version was erased, and the time wraiths (Which is what the BF has become) want to fix the timeline by eliminating him. And thus, he has to keep running
Rip being an established DC character will be like his comic book persona so they will not give him powers. The reason he was off the show was to film the final season of Broadchurch, so he won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
This Eobard Thawne isn't the time remnant from Flash S02, it's the original Reverse Flash who went back in time to kill Nora Allen. He's the one that Barry stopped at the end of S02 and took with him to Flashpoint. However, he should still have no memories of Caitlin and Cisco.
Guys! You gotta react to Arrow's latest episode. It was actually fantastic, and this is coming from someone who hasn't enjoyed arrow for almost 2 seasons
my head cannon for thawne having memories of Cisco and Caitlyn is that when flash got rid of flashpoint that thawne became Harrison wells but with an emergency time escape plan and when Barry went back in time to get the speed equation he alerted thawne that he failed thus he escapes in time
when Barry created flashpoint thawne stated his flashpoint memories would overwrite his own I believe thawne's memories of Harrison wells are being written into this eobard as he stays in the timeline more
Alright so apparently Thawne remembers that stuff because this version of Thawne was in the speed force at the time so the time paradox didn't take a full effect on him. This particular paradox is a self contained pocket in time that is deemed necessary for the existence of the creation of the Flash and in turn the creation of the speedforce itself up until the paradox cannot bear any more changes to causality- ie, the moment Eobard's usefulness to the Speedforce ends and Eddie kills himself.
I still can't believe that Captain Cold and Heat Wave didn't matter to the timeline. The Flash greatest villains from the comics (after Professor Zoom and Grodd) don't matter to the fucking timeline damn writers.
Well, this is a different reality from the comics. Here, he simply isn't as important. I mean, the whole "mattering to the Timeline" thing is already kinda nonsensical, so I can look past this.
ahh!! I so want to reply to this to give you hope and a theory(?) But I'm afraid it might be spoiler for Blind Wave so I'm gonna wait 'til next week and hopefully throw my theory there lol
Mitzuio0 they mean in a way of huge sciencentific breakthrough or invention unless someone down their bloodline matters they don't matter either they were just bank robbers
With regard to Eobard, during this LoT series, he was gone for lengthy periods of time so he could have found out what happened in season one of the Flash. Haha... am just trying to justify why he knows about Caitlin and Cisco.
So gravity in space would be difficult for a speedster. The zero gravity effects all things in motion. Things in motion will not be put to rest until another acting force takes place. Thawne could thrust his arm forward, but stopping your arm and pulling it back, he has only his own strength to pull it back. Gravity give people most of their strength to operate as he or she wishes. Also, faster force become stronger forces, so if Thawne thrusted with speed, he would be very strong and his impact on his environment could be bigger. If he even just thrust his arm with speed, that force would pull Thawne's entire body with it because no gravity is holding him down. So using speed in a small space capsule would be ridiculous as there could be a lot of things to go wrong. After all, space doesn't cooperate.
Eventually all the Legend's will go back to their own time, so I don't know if it makes sense to keep Sara as the captain. I think it would be a good idea if she showed Rip how to be a better captain instead of taking his place.
Mick didn't do much of anything this episode. He was just around. His and Stein's distraction scene felt like it was a reference to a movie, but I'm not sure which one.
I loved this the whole moon stuff was fun then the singing i dont know why that was fun but i love the song then thawne with learning that in grade school just yes
Speedsters can't use their powers in space. Team Flash should've went to Earth-38, hide Iris somewhere in a shuttle in space, and have Supergirl protect her.
I thought the 11th episode was my favorite cause of the drama with anti-Rip and the stuff with Mick and George Washington, but I think this one is, what with the Eobard and Ray dialogue, Nates grandfather's sacrifice and of course "EIGHT FOOT BUNCH!!" I would be worried about Amaya tempted to use the Spear of Destiny, but considering there's an upcoming episode titled "Doomworld" I'm pretty sure she doesn't get that chance. Can't wait to see Snart again up to his very old roots, the one thing I want/need to know is which Captain Cold did Reverse Flash recruit for The Legion Of Doom? Also Black Flash is an aspect of death pretty sure the rules of gravity don't apply to it/him.
yeah i thougth that too... did you notice something off regarding H.R. tho? He became extremely helpful the last like 2 episodes, which threw me kinda off
David Yang The way I see it is, Barry used the tether to take Black Flash out of the speed force and that's why he is chasing thawne. Because Barry let him out in the future so he started chasing thawne.
No Eobard shouldn't have remembered that but I just say that Eobard came back after fixing flash-point and realized that he no longer existed but since he was pulled from the timeline by Barry he was a remnant. and lets also assume season 1 is a fixed point and it always happens so that fixes why he wasn't there but it still happened. and lets say that Eobard gained those memories like Stein gains memories of his daughter. AND YES THAT IS ALOT OF ASSUMING BUT REALLY IT DOESNT MAKE LOGICAL SENSE SO YOU KNOW WHAT?! HE EXISTS BUT ISNT SUPPOSED TO, HE HAS HIS ORIGINAL FACE, AND HE SOMEHOW POSSESSES ALL OF THAWNE'S MEMORIES.
And that's two dead JSA members dead this week. And yes I know this Jay Garrick isn't a member but him, Alan Scott(OG Green Lantern), and Carter Hal (OG hawkman) are the faces of the JSA.
If they get rid of Rip Hunter I'm done with this show, he is the best part of season 1 and I have been waiting 14 episodes just to get him being a side character
with the thawne thing in my opinion its one of three things one is that it is a plot hole and he shouldn't remember (since he was taken out of the time line before he became wells) or 2 when he took flash back to his present the end of season 2/ begining of season 3 he gained the knowledge of the events of season 1 Or 3 that thawne is a remnant of a remnant. The issue with time remnants is that there appears to be two types the type that is the the past version of a time traveler traveling down his/her timeline or the one flash and zoom used which are created to be in two places at once and come from litterally a minuets in the past or future. in my opinion its likely that flashpoint took thawnes remnant and copied him to create the legends thawne and season 1 wells thawne, hence why both thawne and season one of flash exist at the same time. flashpoint made a remnant of a time remnant, kinda what eric was hinting at
Nah Thawne should have his speed. There is gravity, otherwise they wouldn't be orbiting. It's the fact that when you orbit you are constantly falling. When they landed tho he should've sped off.
I'm tired of trying to make sense of that fucking show... writers really needs to do their job and make an effort for a compelling story. I didn't like Rip's treatment here, it's his ship. Sarah told him he was captain Rip Hunter and now she's biching around every time he opens his mouth... that was odd. And the team works better because they know each other better, Rip planted the seeds and Sarah is getting the fruits. It's a bit unfair for him. Stein singing was a lot of fun (and it's weird because I discovered that actor in Alias and his character was so serious lol)
if gravity is the only reason why RF could not use his powers then why when they were on the moon in the shuttle with artificial gravity he could do his highspeed math calculations?
I really think guys should react to Gotham. I know the first few episodes are a bit slow but it gets really good after that. I definitely think it's the best comic-book show right now. And it's the closest we will get to a live action batman show. You know, as long as they still make batman movies.
+erosion271 Are you referring to smallville? Also, I agree that Gotham is a great show and i enjoy watching it, I just don't think it'll fit their taste. I could be wrong and they totally end up loving it though.
I absolutely hate that Sara is still captain when they've finally got Rip back. Being captain was his whole purpose, it was his thing, not to mention his ship. It's like if Rey didn't give the Falcon back to Han. Sara was a perfectly good captain while rip was away, but he was right be be alone trying to figure out what his role is, because Sara is occupying his role and also his ship-girlfriend is calling HER captain. Great episode but that whole thing just doesn't work for me personally
If you mean on the ship, there's oxygen, so people can speak. And my point is that if there were logic (or science), we wouldn't hear explosions in space and Ray's footsteps on the freaking moon.
Really dislike Sara this season, she has been a very shallow character that is only around to get praised by everyone for being just as competent as Rip was. Every other character has been getting great development this season, but about the only thing you see for Sara is people fellating her for being a captain with a vagina and her making out with the hot girl of the episode. In this episode the writers had Rip praise her for doing nothing, the team only proved that they have more experience at this point not that they can follow Sara's commands. Insay have Rip be the captain again and brong back Sara from season 1, she was great there.
Unversed Hero False. Sara had plenty of development in S2. Did you forget that she was putting the team's agenda aside for her own personal vendetta against Darhk? Being the captain made Sara realize that she has a responsibility now and taking things seriously. Shallow, my ass.
I laughed so hard when Stein began singing. It is one of the most funniest moments so far in the history of the Arrow-verse shows.

Speed-Force is the answer. Maybe the speed-force give Eboard's memories back?
This show is so sooo good.
I know the 1st time I ever heard that song was in the movie Beetlejuice.....which I hear they are coming out with a part 2.
Guys what about to try Legion? Its awesome!!
His and Stein's distraction scene felt like it was a reference to a movie, but I'm not sure which one.
in season 3 rip will return as captain of the wave rider
I loved this the whole moon stuff was fun then the singing i dont know why that was fun but i love the song then thawne with learning that in grade school just yes
Prof.Stein was the best in this episode! xDD
Speedsters can't use their powers in space. Team Flash should've went to Earth-38, hide Iris somewhere in a shuttle in space, and have Supergirl protect her.
AARON STOP PREDICTING STUFF LMAO "in the flag"
The Ron Howard movie about this is gonna be weeeird.
I thought the 11th episode was my favorite cause of the drama with anti-Rip and the stuff with Mick and George Washington, but I think this one is, what with the Eobard and Ray dialogue, Nates grandfather's sacrifice and of course "EIGHT FOOT BUNCH!!"
I would be worried about Amaya tempted to use the Spear of Destiny, but considering there's an upcoming episode titled "Doomworld" I'm pretty sure she doesn't get that chance.
Can't wait to see Snart again up to his very old roots, the one thing I want/need to know is which Captain Cold did Reverse Flash recruit for The Legion Of Doom?
Also Black Flash is an aspect of death pretty sure the rules of gravity don't apply to it/him.
just saying, using super speed in the lem might tear it apart from the vibrations of running at or using super speed.
maybe speedsters r exempt from being erased from time by normal time aberrations cuz speed force. which is why zoom hunts them down
Blind Wave I am confused is the Reverse Flash a time aberration or a time remnant?
if he uses his speed the black flash will come to him even if its on moon xD
What happened to Black Flash in 3x16 The Flash exactly... If he was destroyes (in the lack of a better fitting word), who is after RF now?
yeah i thougth that too... did you notice something off regarding H.R. tho? He became extremely helpful the last like 2 episodes, which threw me kinda off
Probably just got forced back to wherever he goes when he's not chasing anyone. He'll be back
Lars Henrichs that was in the speedforce
David Yang The way I see it is, Barry used the tether to take Black Flash out of the speed force and that's why he is chasing thawne. Because Barry let him out in the future so he started chasing thawne.
were thawnes powers not working? or was it because of black flash? the second he used them to phase out black flash was on its way
No Eobard shouldn't have remembered that but I just say that Eobard came back after fixing flash-point and realized that he no longer existed but since he was pulled from the timeline by Barry he was a remnant. and lets also assume season 1 is a fixed point and it always happens so that fixes why he wasn't there but it still happened. and lets say that Eobard gained those memories like Stein gains memories of his daughter.
AND YES THAT IS ALOT OF ASSUMING BUT REALLY IT DOESNT MAKE LOGICAL SENSE SO YOU KNOW WHAT?! HE EXISTS BUT ISNT SUPPOSED TO, HE HAS HIS ORIGINAL FACE, AND HE SOMEHOW POSSESSES ALL OF THAWNE'S MEMORIES.
do you ever think you guys will react to Gotham?
Time paradox. How can u watch a time travel show and not know.
Anyone else think of Armageddon with the sacrifice scene?
Them critiquing sara as cap hasnt aged well hahaha
And that's two dead JSA members dead this week. And yes I know this Jay Garrick isn't a member but him, Alan Scott(OG Green Lantern), and Carter Hal (OG hawkman) are the faces of the JSA.
Didn't Thawne said in S1 of The Flash that he was from the XXV century?
If they get rid of Rip Hunter I'm done with this show, he is the best part of season 1 and I have been waiting 14 episodes just to get him being a side character
So are have you not watched season 4 and 5?
@@cosmicmaster1006 I dont think I have, I think I stoooed at 3 or 4
with the thawne thing in my opinion its one of three things one is that it is a plot hole and he shouldn't remember (since he was taken out of the time line before he became wells) or 2 when he took flash back to his present the end of season 2/ begining of season 3 he gained the knowledge of the events of season 1
Or 3 that thawne is a remnant of a remnant. The issue with time remnants is that there appears to be two types the type that is the the past version of a time traveler traveling down his/her timeline or the one flash and zoom used which are created to be in two places at once and come from litterally a minuets in the past or future.
in my opinion its likely that flashpoint took thawnes remnant and copied him to create the legends thawne and season 1 wells thawne, hence why both thawne and season one of flash exist at the same time. flashpoint made a remnant of a time remnant, kinda what eric was hinting at
Rip should be captain
Come, Mr. Tally Mon, tally me banana!
Are you guys really that good at predicting how the episode advances, or you watch it beforehand and then you do the reaction?
Damn bell notification being 5 minutes late!
Could you please react to Sense8 it's a really great show and has a second season coming in like may.
Do you know when the next Supernatural reaction will come out? :D
Watch the Cell Games from Team Four Star
if gravity is the only reason why RF could not use his powers then why when they were on the moon in the shuttle with artificial gravity he could do his highspeed math calculations?
He can probably still use his powers and speed it's just hard to use them with a lack of gravity to hold him down
My headcanon: he has his speed but doesn't use it because he doesn't want Black Flash coming after him because he couldn't escape.
sagredsv that is what i thought. i Just posted my reaction to "prove" gravity was not the reason for him not using his powers.
Rip should at least pilot the ship. What captain pilots his/her own ship?
Please Watch LEGION
am i a bad person fkr liking before watching? 🤔
nope

I really think guys should react to Gotham. I know the first few episodes are a bit slow but it gets really good after that. I definitely think it's the best comic-book show right now. And it's the closest we will get to a live action batman show. You know, as long as they still make batman movies.
A live action batman show without batman.
+erosion271 Are you referring to smallville? Also, I agree that Gotham is a great show and i enjoy watching it, I just don't think it'll fit their taste. I could be wrong and they totally end up loving it though.
good joke
Sorry but the best comic-book show right now :P nope
jax surely is important to the timeline by now. if it wasnt for him, all the metahumans of earth 1 would be dead
utakata rokubi what do you mean?
Mike funblade the crossover ep
jax got rid of the dominators metabomb
Hey Blind Wave you have to react to cell vs by Team Four Star.
if i was eobard i would just live in space. no wraiths coming in space for u
Will you guys react to A Slap On Titan the parody of Attack on Titan
I absolutely hate that Sara is still captain when they've finally got Rip back. Being captain was his whole purpose, it was his thing, not to mention his ship. It's like if Rey didn't give the Falcon back to Han. Sara was a perfectly good captain while rip was away, but he was right be be alone trying to figure out what his role is, because Sara is occupying his role and also his ship-girlfriend is calling HER captain. Great episode but that whole thing just doesn't work for me personally
10/10
Omg patreon is the only place where Rip actually wins that poll everywhere else people prefer Sara wtf
EPISODE 30
Need Arrow reaction.
I hate that tv shows forgot that in space, no one can hear you scream...BECAUSE THERE IS NO SOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oxmustube by that logic people can't talk on the iss. Dude that's empty space
If you mean on the ship, there's oxygen, so people can speak. And my point is that if there were logic (or science), we wouldn't hear explosions in space and Ray's footsteps on the freaking moon.
They should make hunter captain, he's better than Sara ffs
