I was able to get 2 years free internet from spectrum. $30 per month. That program is over now. But I'm thankful for it when I had it. I live in a low income complex.

Use MoCA for those cable adapters.

I got metronet installed May 2020 in Lexington KY...I can't get over the bad reviews... the only issue I had was when they buried the cable the first time, it was still exposed above ground around where the HVAC was outside up against the house. Following instructions online, I snapped pictures, uploaded it to them and within days it was fixed properly... I've had hardly any issues..At first we got 200/200 but that's no longer avail so we're on 500/500..I can count on one hand small issues but mostly very reliable.... but the reviews online are horrible. it is pretty expensive though..

I can see why. Metronet is simply so much better. Streaming, Lower Cost, and Uploading here on TH-cam, WOW!!! My next video, scheduled for later this morning, PROVES how much faster Metronet Fiber Optics is when it comes to uploading here on youtube.

I made sure I bought all ROKU tv’s so Spectrum can be so easy to use. Turn on TV and you have all your streaming apps right there.

I'm waiting for it now here in the NC. Some of my friends already have it and they say it is the bomb-diggity super duper fast for a real cheap price you can't beat it with a stick. By the way how about them Bengals. Who dey!!! Thanks for sharing

The green line is fiber optic line as it is round and the connector is all wrong for a phone jack or RJ45 (ethernet - the grey cable on the back of the modem going to the router).

      @@quoreimitchell9682 Most definitely.

@quoreimitchell9682 Gaming uses very very little bandwith. You don't need 1/10th of 500gb. The only thing that matters in gaming is your ping. The lower the better. a 2ms ping is fantastic.

reeeally lookin forward to metronet being available for me,
spectrum has *never* lived up to advertised speeds.

I actually get faster speeds than advertised speeds with spectrum...but I use my own router. But I'm still switching to metro lol

    It’s becoming too expensive.

      Unfortunately, everything else.
Even air is getting more expensive. Less than 15 years ago, we could use an air compressors from most convenient stores to use fill up our car tires for free. Today, $2.00 plus dollars. “What a wonderful world”

I pay $227 a month with Spectrum. Like Scott said, everything is going up. Gotta get use to it. Metro went up, Spectrum of course will follow.
