I like how he periodically turns to look at Andy, it’s a very considerate gesture
it's kind of sad that people are "loving" this, it used to be no-brainer for all people properly educated to look to all persons in a conversation. It's basic decency, now people have to "love" about it as if it's a rare quality.

Conan is in my opinion the best interviewer. As he lets his guests actually talk without interrupting them.
Every time I see John Cleese it's a mixture of happiness and sadness, happiness because of all that he has done for British comedy and just how happy he's made my life and sadness because I know that one day John Cleese will die, and the world will have lost an irreplaceable legend.

I highly suggest that you read So Anyway ... his auto-biography. Not only hilarious, but insightful and delightful. He and the Python 🐍 have always been near and dear to my sick little heart 😂

I'd listen to John Cleese being interviewed forever (not him being interviewed forever, me listening to him forever. but if he goes on forever, then I can listen to him forever)
He's the one old guy you want to tell you stories. His ability to keep a straight face is amazing - that glasses thing I can picture in a Python sketch so easily with his deadpan look like nothing is absurd at all.

20 years ago i watched holy grail, great movie untill the scene with john running for 3 min and then slaughtering everyone in the castle i think i laught for 20 min straight.

Something similar happened in my town during the war (I wasn't there obviously but an old lady had kept the newspaper article about it). It's a small coastal village in Scotland, literally nothing in it worth wasting a bomb on, but the German pilot jettisoned his payload on the street I'm currently living on so his plane could go faster to get away from inbound Hurricane fighters. Literally the only exciting thing that has ever happened in the town! haha

I paused here and just saw the size of his belly, I always remembered John being tall and thin. I did not realise how much weight he has out on recently.
