Yes but KYK is retiring soon but still no Replacement for her.
Korea really needs to scout and train really hard.
Its the same problem for them for almost a decade. They barely put up a good fight without KYK
@@proff-itti6278 They have the replacements, for me it's the young and prime Lee twins. The best left (outside hitter) in LJY and the best setter in LDY.
But sudden turn of events didn't allow them to play in this years VNL and upcoming Olympics. For now they will settle in LSY as the left, PJA as the right to help KYK in their offensive attacks.
Should realized now, don't dreaming too much. Zero power. Korean lack of lefts talent.

@@yunadrift I know. Always be a huge fan of Korean team regardless of what is happening. They receive what they deserve. I just feel sorry for the team.

This Korean team doesn't have the firepower they might've had due to injuries to key players and other well-documented circumstances, but more importantly they've yet to fully coalesce as a team as many of the starters and backup are new and have hardly played together as a unit before this tournament. That they're putting up a fight and not going down easily despite this, gives one hope for the future.

An astoundingly even and entertaining match to watch from Korea and Belgium! Some excellent spiking and blocking from both sides, with a brilliant comeback from the Koreans on the first set. Despite that comeback though the Belgians endured and eventually won the match. Congratulations to Belgium!

korea's squad last 2019 is so solid 🔥 I think they should improve their defense specially those over passing.
That's when the Lee twins and the libero Kim Hae Ran are with the team. Kim Hae Ran just re-signed with Pink Spiders out of retirement after having a baby.

The Korean team feel the Lost of the twins in their setting and attacking, but nevertheless they still improving and showing how to fought a good fight.

Well if going to trace their history not just in the new league(VNL) Korea almost beat China in 2012 Olympics games but bow down to Japan running in 4th Place.
I guess I'll just replace the term front runner to a main stay.
Oh well I just wish other nations from different region change the pattern of women's volleyball league.

🇰🇷 libero and the number 1 are looks like in a bad day. Their touch almost always gives such an advantages for the opponent and such a hard execution for their own team. The defense was not good. But still a good fight till the end.
Is Belgium an inconsistent team?
They've played 5 sets against Russia, Dominican, Poland and now even Korea
This was Korea's best chance at another win in VNL aside from Thailand

As for Korean, seem like Hye-seon lack of attacks variation Whereas da-in seems to be afraid to delivered assist to other players when 1 player being heavily guarded by opponent's blockers..also seems like some of their clubs focused on develop their team for next season or it just coincidentally some players from same club injured.. for me this match MVP was herbots and in Korea So-young was superb..
Now they're losing.
Belgium relies too much on one player (Herbotts), so when she's not in tune, they're going down too.

Korean defence is very weak.. they need Kim Suji and Lee Daeyeong.. the libero is too old already..they need to step up the game for Olympics
The libero that they have for this tournament is not the same as the one who played in the Olympics. She already retired

with a lot of strong and competitive teams this year, hopefully, Belgium will make it to the finals 6, in that way, Britt Herbots can earn a Best Outside Spiker award. She deserves it. She has really stepped up her game and she is arguably 2021's most improved player.
How far do we think she can go?
Belgium can't make it to finals. When we look at the teams, we can see USA, China, Japan, Brazil and Turkey. They can't defeat this teams so easily. One of them is gonna be the 1. Not Belgium, truths

I understand people miss twins but they bullied their friends strongly at the time of middle school days, still hold a grudge without self reflection. Young vollyball players should learn something from this. Personality is more important than ability. Korea don't have experienced veterans like suji,heejin,myung ok, sowhi. So team korea still keep fighting against all odds without grudging. Let's go girls, always support you♡♡♡

For me, Karch Kiraly is the best coach in the world takes a team without the main stars and turns it into that we are seeing a team playing very completely different from the coach of Brazil who comes with maximum strength and loses to the reserve team of the USA, this is called technician the loaned it's time for Brazil to put new blood because Brazil is one of the greatest power in the world in women's and men's volleyball

Japan has the most outstanding performance so far among Asian countries in this year's VNL.
Perhaps the reason is they sent their best line-up?
Thailand reconstructed the team just few days before the game and is destined to lose.
China left big guns back home and is concentrating on working on young players now.
Korea has a part-time head coach and he has his main job outside of Korea. He joined the team shortly before the game and he is using this game to build the team. Korea is destined to lose too.
Japan has been training as a team for months and supposed to play their best.

That's why Korea keep losing. Volleyball is a TEAM sport. KYK look good in spiking only when she get a good set. KYK hardly dig down or slide her body on the floor like other good players. She was supported by good players when she played in Europe, Japan and China.

She was supported by good players when she played with teams in Europe, Japan and China. Right now, KYK's teammates are still adjusting to international level of volleyball. They are facing huge monsters on the court. If this continues in the Olympics, Korea might not win a game on their division.
