@@lifeinvader6979 Yeah, but even then, there was no reason to give the other 3 such a slow charge rate in comparison to other hyper charges when their HCs arent crazy strong or anything.
Before his rework, this hypercharge would be mediocre for this exact reason. But now that his attack delay has decreased significantly, his effective range has increased significantly. He’s going to be a monster with this hypercharge on top of his rework.
These changes are honestly kind of insane, so here are all my thoughts. Brock - Great Change Brock’s HC was pretty underwhelming before, but this change will make his HC a lot better. Not only will he be able to deal considerable damage now to enemies now, but he will also be able to actually deal some good damage to the Heist safe (around 20%). His HC will actually be pretty strong now unlike before. Lily - Insane Change. C -> S tier Lily was pretty underwhelming before, but now she will be absolutely crazy. With that crazy unload speed and two ammo, she will be able to deal insane burst damage. Combined with her Super and 1st Star Power, she will be able to deal 8k damage in the blink of an eye. While her short range still hurts her, her Super and Vanish gadget will more or less solve that problem. Janet - Slight Change. D- -> D tier While this change certainly changes a few interactions such as being able to 3 shot 6k health brawlers, it is still only a 2% damage buff and does not solve any of her big issues. While I think Janet will be a little better, this won’t make much of an impact for her. Mandy - Great Change. C- -> B tier This is a great buff for Mandy. Mandy was falling out of the meta because she was being overshadowed by other sharpshooters and easily overpowered, even on long range maps. However, with this buff, she will be able to compete more easily as she can now cycle Supers more frequently and make more game-changing plays. Draco - Decent Change. S -> A+ tier While this change will hopefully tone down Draco and make him easier to deal with in his dragon form, he will still be very strong. He is still difficult to take down and with his dragon form, he is still going to be very oppressive. He can still cycle Supers quite frequently and with his 2nd Star Power and Gadget, he will still be a very strong and tanky brawler. Angelo - Good Change. S -> A tier These changes will definitely tone Angelo down quite a lot. Not only will he not be able to cycle Supers nearly as frequently as before, but he will also deal considerably less damage, especially considering he won’t get Supers as frequently. While 4000 damage is still a lot, he won’t be nearly as oppressive as before. However, he still has a very fast movement speed and his HC is insane, so he will still be a strong brawler, especially on maps with water. Charlie - Good Change. S- -> A- tier These changes will definitely affect Charlie quite a lot. While she is still a great tank counter and her Super is game-changing, she will be much less effective against low-health brawlers. She won’t be able to even 3 shot Piper anymore or 4 shot 6400 health brawlers. Her Spiders Gadget is also going to be much worse in Heist and less effective in general. While it is still going to be great at tanking damage, scouting bushes, and finishing off Cocooned enemies, it won’t be as annoying as before. Her HC is also going to be worse than before bc of this change. Her 2nd gadget might pick up more usage now as she can tank a lot of damage with it (even against piercing enemies) and also heal. Sandy - Good Change. S -> A tier Sandy was very oppressive, especially since he could cycle his HC very fast. Before, it took only 10 hits to get HC which was absolutely insane, considering how crazy his HC is. However, now it will take an entire 5 more hits to get HC which will make much less oppressive. While his HC is still insane, he will be getting it much less frequently which will make him a lot easier to deal with, considering he can’t make as many game-changing plays. Rico - Great Change. Rico has been a relatively balanced brawler, strong on some maps while weaker on others. However, his Multiball Launcher Gadget has been OP, being able to deal around 2000 damage even at long range. It could allow him to finish of kills way too easily at mid-long ranges while dealing insane damage at close range.This change makes his gadget not nearly as oppressive as before as he won’t be able to deal nearly as much damage at mid-long ranges. While he will still deal insane damage at close range against tanks and assassins, his gadget won’t be nearly as OP anymore. Kit - Slight Change While Kit is still going to very strong in Knockout, and a solid pick in Bounty and Brawl Ball, this change will hopefully tone him down in Showdown where he is absolutely insane. The damage buff just made him SO toxic in Showdown, especially combined with Power Hungry. This change will make him slightly easier to deal with, but it probably would have been better to just completely rework Power Hungry. He can still deal a lot of damage and he will still be a very strong brawler in Showdown, only slightly worse than before. Melodie - Decent Change. S -> A+ tier While Melodie is still going to be a very strong brawler, this change will hopefully slowly make her worse in the meta. Pearl also got a similar health nerf in the past and she also gradually fell off, especially after getting a 2nd nerf to her gadget. While this nerf will make Melodie easier to deal with and will mean that she can’t rush into enemies like before, she will still be very strong bc of her notes, Super, and Interlude Gadget. Having 3 dashes is still insane and she will still be OP in Heist and Brawl Ball. While she will have to use her Gadget a bit more now, until she gets a nerf to her dash distance, note damage, or just something more, she will still be a very strong brawler. Frank - Insane Rework. F -> S tier Frank’s new mechanic makes him really strong, especially once he reaches below 50% health. At low health, he will be absolutely insane, being able to spam out attacks relentlessly. As long as he can get close to enemies, they are done for. His HC is absolutely insane as well, allowing his Super to become basically impossible to dodge, unless they interrupt him. Paired with his 1st gadget, he could become impossible to counter as no one would be able to interrupt his Super, and with his 2nd gadget, he could get kills ridiculously fast. Paired with his Power Grab Star Power, he would just be absurd, being able to chain kills, and on bushy maps or on closed maps, he would be one of the best brawlers. Combined with the Speed Gear, he would be the best brawler in Brawl Ball. In Hot Zone, Heist, and even Gem Grab, he would also be a really strong brawler. Frank finally has his time to shine and he will probably need to get emergency nerfed soon after the update drops. Meg - Mixed Rework. Casual: B -> S tier Competitive: A -> B tier The problem with Meg is that she has always been a boring brawler with low play rates, but high win rates. This is bc she is considered a boring, mid brawler for casual players while being a strong pick with great lane presence and a great chip damage attack in the competitive scene. While this rework will certainly make Meg very strong and a lot more fun to play for casual players as she can deal more damage now bc she shoots 4 waves instead of 2 and she has more health (which no one seems to have noticed), she will not be nearly as good in the competitive scene. This is bc she can’t deal consistent chip damage anymore (especially with auto-aim) due to the damage nerf and attack rework and she doesn’t have nearly as much range as before. While Meg used to be a strong pick in Knockout and Bounty with high win rates, not being able to chip at sharpshooters anymore and having to get close up to deal damage is certainly going to hurt her in the long run on the long range maps she used to thrive on. So for casual players, amazing rework, but for competitive players, probably not nearly as strong. Chester - Great Rework. D -> B tier While this rework actually won’t make Chester super strong, it will definitely make him a lot more fun to play and a pretty good brawler. Making the four-bell attack baseline makes him a lot better to play as he doesn’t have to rely on his Star Power anymore. Also, one of Chester’s problems was that his 1st bell attack was always underwhelming, but his new Star Power fixes that issue by doubling the damage of his 1st bell. While Sneak Peek is unfortunately still trash, this rework will definitely make him a much better brawler overall.
Also, I forgot Hank and Maisie😭 Hank - Slight Change. F -> F+ tier Honestly, the fact that SC is so hesitant to buff Hank is CRAZY. Hank is such an underwhelming brawler and I can't believe they thought they needed to nerf his health to make up for adding healing to his kit. They only reverted his dumb health nerf, so I doubt it will make much of a difference. Unless they buff his bubble charge, SCR, or at least give him a new trait like the Tank trait, Hank will be useless forever like Frank was. The health buff will barely help him and he’s now the worst brawler since Frank is actually super strong after his rework. The healing was a good change, but it takes so long to get his Super that he doesn’t even get that much value. Maisie - Good Change. D -> C tier The meta doesn’t really suit Maisie too well rn sine there are a lot of better HC brawlers in the meta and there aren’t that many tanks and assassins like Fang, Bull, and Edgar. This change will still actually help her more than people think though as it will allow her to cycle Supers a lot faster just like before. Since it will take only 1 hit to cycle Super after hitting 2 enemies, this will allow her to make more plays and allow her to cycle her next Supers pretty fast after getting her 1st Super. She will now be a pretty good option in Brawl Ball since she can cycle Supers and HCs faster, but everywhere else except maybe Hot Zone, she will still be underwhelming.
i think frank might be the best brawler now, especially on bushy maps, with the 1st gadget and speed and damage gear will just destroy anyone he wants, frank quite literally has 0 counters now
Hear me out. Sneak Peek might actually become a sneaky alright star power in some situations (no pun intended) Its biggest issue was that by using it you'd losing out on the 4 bell attack, but it won't be the case anymore so players who don't really like Chester's RNG could consider using it to plan out their next move as the DPS loss won't be near as significant. The new SP will obviously still be the better option 99% of the times but Sneak Peek could go from an F------ tier SP to a D+ or C- one.
That would make Doug insanely annoying. Just imagine all the cheese in knockout. Trust me it's a terrible idea. You have people running frank Doug and max or something and they would camp in spawn until they get Doug super and just charge up with too much hp to be killed. People always find a way to cheese
@@Wasted117. It depends on how strong the super charge from healing will be. It won't necessarily be broken. It depends on the numbers, not the concept.
Does anyone feel that Kit is still not weak after being nerfed by 50%. Lily has become stronger, Frank will be the biggest mistake Supercell brings in this balance 😂
Maise will still be d tier and frank who is the lowest skill bralwer in the game will be the best brawler in the game... they cooked and they burned the kitchen down...
Wow! I love the part about the wipeout maps, especially how I got to see the beautiful design of Coconut Cove. Truly excited to try out this insane layout. Definitely the part I am looking forward to the most. Spen did a spectacular job explaning Coconut Cove......
A hypercharge for Angelo is the most unnecessary thing. As if he's not broken enough. Also, a hypercharge for Rico is waaay too toxic. What about Pearl hypercharge tho?
I am glad tgey did Angelo's hypercharge this hard to get. 12 fully charged shots means he will get exactly one HC in a match most of the time Though some other hypers vould charge less... And Frank's definitely needs to be full 3 supers, you already could get 2 per match even without his rework, and now it's probably going to be 3
Considering Angelo's best modes are bounty and knockout I don't think that he'll be able to play his hypercharge at all at those game modes cuz how long it is to build up
In the last two weeks many youtubers have released tier lists on brawlers. I think that's absolute criminal, to release any tier list before massive patches. I am glad I didn't spend my resources...
What gears would be good on frank now, obviously damage but would you want health anymore since you want to stay at that lower end of hp? Would you want speed vision or gadget?
I would say damage plus speed/extra gadget gear. Active noise cancellation gadget to make sure your super isn't wasted during hypercharge. And power grab star power.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I saw that hank was dealing 2640 damage per projectile from his super. I'm not sure if it always was like this but I just wanted to point it out incase it was different before this balance change.
What are the yellow dots when he was dashing with Melodie? I saw the same thing in the SA monthly finals in brawl ball with a Stu. Anyone know what that is?
Lily and Chester will be so strong, not only would Lily be able to deal 4,800 damage with her attack but she can simply use her shadow realm gadget to get close the enemy and cicle supers quickly. Meanwhile Chester with his new star power will be able to deal as much damage as his 4 bells with 2 ammo and 1 ammo to spare for his 3 bells.
My guy, 4800 is the same as 3 ammo from Barley. That's nothing. Every other assassin except Mortis and Mico outdamages her. This still doesn't fix the problem of getting Super in the first place. This just fixes the problem where she couldn't even kill a Dynamike (with Super) without having to reload.
Chester would be at best B tier , since he still had the same problem as before rework (couldn't deal many damage at distance + there's brawlers, who do his job better
@@ОлександрШишкін-м5р I at no point did I say he was goin to be S tier or A tier. I just wanted to clarify that Chester deal as much damage as his fourth bell with two ammo since Spenlc brought up that it’s better to waste the first bell but I think otherwise.
@@Sc5ch So? Barley requieres 3 ammo to get that damage in the first place, while Lily only needs two which she uses in a single press of her attack. Plus, unlike Barley, she has a faster reload speed, unload speed, projectile speed and movement speed so she will be more stronger than Barley. Speaking of strong, unlike those other assassins, Lily can teleport to the shadow realm in an instant with her gadget which is pretty broken because it allows her to approach unsuspecting enemies. And for the super thing, you do realize that her now being able to attack twice means she can get her super in two seconds up close (using the shadow realm gadget). Like if she gets one super, she can cycle it if played correctly, because by hitting one super gives a fourth of her super, and hitting the enemy with her attack gives her 2 more super charge, and by spamming allows her to pull another attack with one ammo which gives her enough for another super. To give you an idea of the damage she’s going to deal: At max power her super will deal 2,000 damage off the bat by hitting it, then with her spiky star power equipped, it will increase her first attack damage by 1,200 making her deal 2,600 in her first attack and followed up by her second attack giving a total of 5,000 damage by her attack alone. Now adding the extra damage super, giving exactly 7,000 damage in total. And if she cycles her super again, she could deal around 2,000- 7,000 damage. That is around 9,000- 14,000 damage. Of course this heavily depends on the type of match up she’s facing but you better hope you don’t encounter a good Lily player in the next update.
@krystalsitton5857 I used Barley cuz that's the only brawler I could think of that did exactly 4.8k. Every brawler with similar range (Jacky, Edgar) either outdamages her or has an extra ammo that leads to a higher damage potential. Also, "just 2 ammo" doesn't matter, as it's still her full ammo cycle (how many shots they can fire until they have to reload). 2 ammo is literally a straight downgrade from 3. As soon as your shots are consumed, there's a CD during which you are completely defenseless. The more damage you can get out before that happens, the better. That's why she was a terrible assassin before. There was no way to kill any brawler without stopping to reload (not even Tick). Bea or Bonnie aren't affected by it as much, as they're designed for ranged fights, where burst damage is unnecessary, as you'll be aiming in-between each attack anyways. An assassin having it is terrible, as in a 1v1, you want as much damage as possible as quick as possible. Having a fast unload speed and virtually no attack endlag/delay doesn't change that CD. She'll still die to anyone who can kill her fast enough and survive until they can. (Basically any high damage brawler that can survive or tank) Also, it's more fair to compare a full ammo cycle than to use 2 ammo from both brawlers, as it's more representative of their actual burst damage in a match. Nobody is artificially limiting themselves by only using 2 out of 3 ammo in a 1v1 if it's more beneficial to use 3. They're trying to do as much damage as possible. Edgar's main attack is basically Lily but with 3 ammo (higher damage potential) less damage and a slower (but still the fastest after her) unload speed. His endlag (delay before you can unload another attack) is basically nonexistent as well. The only reason why Lily's looks insane compared to his is because his unload speed is slower, as he has 2 hits instead of 1 like Lily. He does 6.3k without having to reload. Lily does 4.8k without having to reload. Their reload speeds are either the same, or Edgar's is slightly faster. I'd take Edgar's over Lily's main attack because: it has a significantly higher damage potential (about 25%) with less risk as he doesn't become vulnerable from reloading. The only downside being unload speed, which the former options outweigh. It'd be different if she could actually kill something with 4.8k dmg, but it's just Tick. Because of that, Edgar is simply more logical and the safer option. Having basically no delay between attacks is great yes, but her damage output, short range, and 2 ammo balance it out. Of course, having no attack delay would never slide on a ranged brawler with 3 ammo. That's why L&L and Grom on release got nerfed. My argument was focused on her main attack, not the gadget, but here's how you know that the gadget is held back by the brawler: Give it to any other assassin, and it's getting nerfed. It's not Squeak's Residue, where a D Tier brawler skyrocketed up to S Tier from a gadget. She requires 3 ammo to get Super, meaning a full ammo cycle + reloaded ammo. This is really good, but there are brawlers like Kit & Buzz who have better supers and can cycle them as well. A Super + 2 ammo with Lily is like 85% Super btw, so it's still not consistent. Her Super Cycling will be similar to Buzz, but she can't get it as fast as him due to her circle size. Cordelius is held back by it less because he has a pokeable range, Lily doesn't. I think it'll be fine. We'll just wait and see tomorrow. I think you forgot that her Super damage got halved from 2k > 1k lol. So Super + 2 ammo (w/ Spiky) is 7k dmg. 7000 damage is a little less than Edgar damage (Super + 3 ammo w/ Hard Landing), but his Super goes through walls. Seems pretty fair. We'll just see how she is tomorrow ig.
Kits 1st star power should be changed to after jumping on an enemy he gets a dmg increase so his first is for agro on enemies and his second star power is for allies
That new Chester star power is the most braindead idea ever, Sneak Peek is still useless and it's basically like having the 2 bells attack twice in a row
Im unmaining Frank. What's the point of playing him when his uniqueness got removed. Now he is essentially like El Primo/Edgar melee brawler because you can just spam attack but you also have range so it is even more brainless. At least Edgar is squishy and El Primo has slower unload speed so you can strafe and halve the damage he deals to you. The point of Frank was to try to evade his cone delayed attack and now he just spams it.
How do they decide what the hypercharge rate should be, like Emz and Barley take more than 3 supers to get hyper, and then Sandy gets his in like 1, very fair guys.

Before his rework, this hypercharge would be mediocre for this exact reason. But now that his attack delay has decreased significantly, his effective range has increased significantly. He’s going to be a monster with this hypercharge on top of his rework.
You also seem to forget that Frank charges his super and hypercharge from damage taken, and there is 14k+ hp needed for us to shred through.
These changes are honestly kind of insane, so here are all my thoughts.
Brock - Great Change
Brock’s HC was pretty underwhelming before, but this change will make his HC a lot better. Not only will he be able to deal considerable damage now to enemies now, but he will also be able to actually deal some good damage to the Heist safe (around 20%). His HC will actually be pretty strong now unlike before.
Lily - Insane Change. C -> S tier
Lily was pretty underwhelming before, but now she will be absolutely crazy. With that crazy unload speed and two ammo, she will be able to deal insane burst damage. Combined with her Super and 1st Star Power, she will be able to deal 8k damage in the blink of an eye. While her short range still hurts her, her Super and Vanish gadget will more or less solve that problem.
Janet - Slight Change. D- -> D tier
While this change certainly changes a few interactions such as being able to 3 shot 6k health brawlers, it is still only a 2% damage buff and does not solve any of her big issues. While I think Janet will be a little better, this won’t make much of an impact for her.
Mandy - Great Change. C- -> B tier
This is a great buff for Mandy. Mandy was falling out of the meta because she was being overshadowed by other sharpshooters and easily overpowered, even on long range maps. However, with this buff, she will be able to compete more easily as she can now cycle Supers more frequently and make more game-changing plays.
Draco - Decent Change. S -> A+ tier
While this change will hopefully tone down Draco and make him easier to deal with in his dragon form, he will still be very strong. He is still difficult to take down and with his dragon form, he is still going to be very oppressive. He can still cycle Supers quite frequently and with his 2nd Star Power and Gadget, he will still be a very strong and tanky brawler.
Angelo - Good Change. S -> A tier
These changes will definitely tone Angelo down quite a lot.
Charlie - Good Change. S- -> A- tier
These changes will definitely affect Charlie quite a lot.
Sandy - Good Change. S -> A tier
Sandy was very oppressive, especially since he could cycle his HC very fast.
Kit - Slight Change
While Kit is still going to very strong in Knockout, and a solid pick in Bounty and Brawl Ball, this change will hopefully tone him down in Showdown where he is absolutely insane.
Melodie - Decent Change. S -> A+ tier
While Melodie is still going to be a very strong brawler, this change will hopefully slowly make her worse in the meta.
Frank - Insane Rework. F -> S tier
Frank’s new mechanic makes him really strong, especially once he reaches below 50% health.
Meg - Mixed Rework. Casual: B -> S tier Competitive: A -> B tier
The problem with Meg is that she has always been a boring brawler with low play rates, but high win rates.
Chester - Great Rework. D -> B tier
While this rework actually won’t make Chester super strong, it will definitely make him a lot more fun to play and a pretty good brawler.
I forgot to add Lily’s new Super damage, but 7k damage is still crazy
Also, I forgot Hank and Maisie😭
Hank - Slight Change. F -> F+ tier
Honestly, the fact that SC is so hesitant to buff Hank is CRAZY.
Maisie - Good Change. D -> C tier
The meta doesn’t really suit Maisie too well rn sine there are a lot of better HC brawlers in the meta and there aren’t that many tanks and assassins like Fang, Bull, and Edgar. She will now be a pretty good option in Brawl Ball since she can cycle Supers and HCs faster, but everywhere else except maybe Hot Zone, she will still be underwhelming.
i think frank might be the best brawler now, especially on bushy maps, with the 1st gadget and speed and damage gear will just destroy anyone he wants, frank quite literally has 0 counters now
Thanks for your thoughts
I like them 😺❤
Hear me out. Sneak Peek might actually become a sneaky alright star power in some situations (no pun intended)
Its biggest issue was that by using it you'd losing out on the 4 bell attack, but it won't be the case anymore so players who don't really like Chester's RNG could consider using it to plan out their next move as the DPS loss won't be near as significant.
The new SP will obviously still be the better option 99% of the times but Sneak Peek could go from an F------ tier SP to a D+ or C- one.
Honestly the biggest L of the update is not giving Doug Berry's trait.
the L is that boxes aren't permanently back
That would make Doug insanely annoying.

Yeah but some of those knock out maps and that 1 brawl ball map are questionable
Wow! I love the part about the wipeout maps, especially how I got to see the beautiful design of Coconut Cove. Truly excited to try out this insane layout. Definitely the part I am looking forward to the most. Spen did a spectacular job explaning Coconut Cove......

Not me laughing out loud watching you see the new knockout maps😂😂

Frank took all of those tier lists personally.
Frank is tired of seeing a brawler made after him this low all those years XD
A hypercharge for Angelo is the most unnecessary thing. As if he's not broken enough. Also, a hypercharge for Rico is waaay too toxic. What about Pearl hypercharge tho?

I am glad tgey did Angelo's hypercharge this hard to get. 12 fully charged shots means he will get exactly one HC in a match most of the time
Though some other hypers vould charge less... And Frank's definitely needs to be full 3 supers, you already could get 2 per match even without his rework, and now it's probably going to be 3
When Spen will disappoint me I’ll become a Mortis main.
Considering Angelo's best modes are bounty and knockout I don't think that he'll be able to play his hypercharge at all at those game modes cuz how long it is to build up
One thing I definitely believe we’ll see in the coming days after the update is people using hyper charged piper super offensively to confirm a kill

Based on the new maps and all their walls, I can see Brock sneaking back up in the meta, especially with his hypercharge buff as well
So Meg is now a kind of Griff but with more HP
Frank will get emergency nerf 100% after 2-3 days. And congrats Spen for PRAWN READY! (Change your name to I WAS lol)

Probably gadget charge,damage,for star power power grab and gadget active noise canceling
@@ismaaa1359 id say damage (obviously) and speed as he is going to be so abusive to other brawlers in bushy showdown maps

To give you an idea of the damage she’s going to deal:
At max power her super will deal 2,000 damage off the bat by hitting it, then with her spiky star power equipped, it will increase her first attack damage by 1,200 making her deal 2,600 in her first attack and followed up by her second attack giving a total of 5,000 damage by her attack alone.
(Basically any high damage brawler that can survive or tank)
Also, it's more fair to compare a full ammo cycle than to use 2 ammo from both brawlers, as it's more representative of their actual burst damage in a match.

I’m finally going to max out Frank after having him at power 7 for over 3+ years. Doug will be staying at Power 7 tho.
As an emz main I’m very disappointed to see that her hypercharge will take so long to charge up
Im unmaining Frank.
Sandy needs 2.5 after the update. Even now, it's 1.66, not 1. Stop capping
