Can't wait to try this. This would be an amazing benefit I didn't know what there! I had to replay the section showing which icon you selected 4 times to see it. The camera didn't zoom in and the way you hold your stylus made it hard to tell what you were doing. All I could see were two fingers and a stylus that were all the same length but it wasn't clear what you were pressing. It might also be helpful to say the name of the icon you are selecting. I'm going to give this a try
Hi! I just saw this video today! I have a Dream Machine and wanted to try this out. I went to sewing, hit that button for the vertical stitch alignment, attached the v foot and hit ok and it won’t recognize that the v foot is there even though it shows it on the top left of the screen. I opened my manual and on oh 162 (which is describing something else but the only place in the book the v foot is mentioned) it says to select a stitch so I did that before hitting the button on the right but again the v foot is not recognized . What am I doing wrong here? Thanks.
Steve, you forgot to tell people that the “edge sewing sheet” needs to be placed on top of the needle plate cover. This machine comes with sheets. Directions for placement are starting on page 162 of operation manual. Utility stitches 1-24 can be used.
Steve I have tried this with my Brother Dream Machine 2 and I can not get it to do that. Is there something in the settings I need to change for this to work?
Hi Steve. You skipped very important steps. Please, can you show how to do this function from the beginning instead of the middle? I was pretty excited about this feature!
Tried this and it didn't work. The foot I'm using has red lines on it. Message says to Attach vertical stitch alignment foot and edge sewing sheet. What am I doing wrong?
