I don't know why this fragrance is so ignored among the community. To me it is very original, different and amazing. Alien Man is ultra versatile and does everything a blue frangrance can do, without being a blue fragrance. Performance is decent and, be sure, you will get noticed. It deserves way more recognition than it gets.

Thanks for the review! I had a tester of this fragrance and got a bit more of the leather and aromatic nuances on my skin. I agree that it sits pretty close to the skin and doesn't have the original Alien DNA. Although it isn't totally unique, I think it does stand out to me against popular frags like Sauvage and Bleu De Chanel.😊

I just purchased a bottle the other day and I really like it. That little touch of dill is present but overall I really like it, it is actually really solid performance wise for me. But Im fairly easy to please in the realm of fragrances, I just like what I like and these newer drops have been nice.
I find it great for work or causal time, definitely not something I'd wear all dressed up.
Overall 8/10 for me, good not amazing but good and worth it for a start into Mugler.

You know iv had this one a while, came out in UK a long time ago now. But all iv seen it bad reviews and people disappointed I love it I really do, yea it's not groundbreaking but it is nice and is a bit different to a lot round now and I think people were maybe disappointed because alien woman is just sooooo good. I haven't smelt fusion yet but looking forward to it. Good and fair video

I was waiting for the generic drydown of this scent to go away but it has staying power and in my impatience sprayed Marshmallow Incense from Ganache Parfums on top and found myself really liking the combo. Alien Man lifts up the heaviness of the resinous gourmand of Marshmallow Incense and the latter creates an extra complexity to the generic drydown and I can't stop sniffing my arm.

I rescued this fragrance from the forgotten bottom of my drawer. This year or more inside my wardrobe has worked wonderful on this. Today I wore it in a ver long time, and it surprised me a lot. I did not remember is as that good. I'm happy.
I really like Alien Man. It smells very nice. I actually layer it with Gravity. Yeah, i know, right?

Well, I still like it! I agree that it’s not a compliment getter like Profumo, BDC, Sauvage or Aventus, but I like it. It’s a pleasant scent that I wear for me (not for others, not for compliments).

The presentation is really nice and the built in sprayer as well. The first time I saw this fragrance was in one of the editions of Davelackie's beauty departure magazine and I loved the presentation. Nice to know the content is superb as well. Good one Steve.

Not a crowd pleaser. To me the opening is really 'hard to swallow' especially if you go really close to the skin after applying. Regarding performance , man this one was with me for more than 20h (shower included).

I tried this fragrance at my local Macy's... I like it, but it does not blow my mind, it is pleasant, but it kinda steers too much away from what Mugler has been over the years. As we all know the A*Men line is so beloved by us fragrance lovers because it's unique and bold, this, however, is rather safe, not what one would expect from a Mugler fragrance. It is a good release but is a pass for me. Great review as always! Thank you!

Actually went to Macys today to check out some fragrances and this one was sampled. The lady let me smell it and was talking about it I do have to say for my taste it smelled pretty good to me. Might pick it up in the future just to see if anyone around me likes the smell as well. Great review!

From the future saying that those flankers never had the light of the day. That Mugler as a perfume brand has been butchered by the owner’s and that almost all the masculine line has been discontinued. Sad isn’t it?

I have a sample of this around here somewhere.. I didn't love the opening notes enough to make me want to give it a full wearing just yet. I want to love it basically because of the gloriousness of the A*men line, but I need to separate that line from this scent to give it it's own fair assessment. I appreciate your thoughts once again on this one Steven, it might have given me just enough of a nudge to try it out.

Agreed, at 1st its kinda lackluster but seems to smell more pleasant as it setttles into ur skin, smelled far worse but yes quite forgettable

Hi Steve, thank you for this review. Unfortunately, Mugler doesn't release a wonderful/groundbreaking fragrance in their designer line for a very long time now... My last 'wauww' was when i sniffed ultra zest/ Pure Malt/ Pure Havane. Nothing inmho since then...

Just tried got a sampler and I hate that beginning portion of it from what I'm assuming is the dill or mint maybe? But then once it sets it becomes quite enjoyable, definitely haven't smelled anything like it before

Can't remember how long it has been since I bought a new fragrance. The last time I went to a fragrance store, I bought a backup bottle of the now discontinued Eau Sauvage parfum black box.
Too many fragrances trying to be yet another linear Sauvage

My question is how do you properly store Fragrances since I would like to put away my fall and winter Fragrances and bring out my spring/summer ones that are currently on the same shelf. Wanna expand my space by putting the others away. Thanks in advance love your videos and a subscriber for life..
It's great to store them in their original boxes. Also keep them away from direct sunlight and fluctuating temperatures.

Is this version as strong out of the bottle as the original women’s? (I believe that they have toned it down, somewhat. But, I am not sure if it has been reformulated.)
I don't think it's as strong.
For a brand who come up with angel, they sure have been safe since then. I was hoping this would've been something risky. But oh well.

how is it compared to the women one ??you said a couple things between them.. but ? ... is it similar pretty similar but....more manly? lol.... the first time I smelled the women one...I went crazy how much I liked it..and wished they made one for men..... so? is it sort of similar? thanks
The women's version has more amber and citrus whereas the men's version is more aromatic and slightly spicy.

I’ve been trying to figure out what exactly cashmeran smells like. Seemingly no one, including me, can sum up exactly what it is. How would you describe it?
PS I love this fragrance. So weird. Like a bizarro world version of a mainstream men’s designer.
This is according to IFF: Diffusive, spicy, musk-like odor with strong floral reinforcement. Powdery, velvet nuance. Long lasting. Aromatic, apple, earthy, woody, red fruit, pine

@@1234nikster Good to know! I have owned A*Men a while back. Smelled it off a test strip this afternoon at a store, and I don't think I'd be able to wear it nowadays as I found it to be too strong. Have you experienced A*Men? How would it compare to Alien Man as far as "strength"? I think A*Men would induce a headache now... Alien could be different!
