thanks for this video.. I've been thinking about buying geolayers for a podcast I did with a historian. In your experience, is it necessary to purchase the other add-ons to geolayers like Helium, Mettle Free Form Pro, etc.? Or which one of them will give the most bang for the buck? I want to create depth of field, mountains, that rise, buildings to come up, that kind of thing. I'm talking about Manhattan in the early days of Henry Hudson. thanks..

@@videopodcaststudio I have a tutorial that goes into how to use Mettle Freeform Pro to get 3D terrain, and the example is on a Johnny Harris inspired project actually. You can see in the curriculum, it's the one about Hawaii.
Hey, I´ve got a question about Overlord. Can you still import a layer with an effect applied as a shape layer? I´ve also read that you can´t import gradients with a modified aspect ratio. I hope you can at least change both of those in after effects in case overlord doesn´t allow it right?
I'm not sure. Probably a bunch of things. Certain plugins have requirements to change preferences. Those will usually be listed in the installation guide.

You’ll need one of those plugins to get mountains. I’ve found buildings to be especially difficult.

Consider making the switch to AE, it's unlikely Resolve will ever get the same level of support and plugins.
