You may not be able to completely cure those anxieties, but even reducing them like 10% (and/or having strategies to cope with them when they arise) frees up an absolute fuck ton of space in your brain and another absolute fuck ton of time in your day-to-day existence. Superglue dries almost instantaneously on human skin so it's just about the quickest way to seal up cuts (even faster if you use zip-kicker). Granted, most of our injuries there were from Razor Blades/Xacto Knifes, which are very narrow cuts. If I had been inflicted with a gaping wound/puncture I'd probably have gone to the hospital
