I will be surprised if they change anything since they announced going electric soon. That, and motorcycle parts are hard to come by it seems. As much as it seems they are promoting the Ryker, I am worried they will get rid of the F3 lineup. We`ll see in about 7 days though!
@@MOABMAN Oh man! Was gonna reach out to you (and still will), but decided I would ride last Wednesday since it's been a while. It called for rain later but they said that the day before and it never came (predictions are the worst right now...). I make up my mind to take what would have been a decent ride (probably about 40 or 50 miles one way) - I don't even get half way until I run into the rain!!! Got soaked thru my boots and even underwear, lol!!! I can officially say I've done a real rain drive now.
@@kdub607 When i got my bike back from the shop after it broke down, i had to drive back in one of the hardest downpours that Cali had in years and was the same way, soaked to my underroos!! Wasnt fun at all! One of the few times that a winshield would come in handy.
This was great! Recently I looked up the fuel capacity on mine because of that TommyG guy and his gas station shenanigans, lol. I put in 6.5 gallons and was wondering how much it actually holds. When I got a new rear tire in April, our dealer had three rykers and no spyders in the showroom. When I got another new rear tire last week, I was happy to see 5 Spyders and 5 Rykers on the showroom floor. Two of the Spyders were sold and our dealer told us just about all of the models were ready to go as parts had come in for them.
The 2018 and up models get better gas mileage. If you ride easy and use Eco Mode you can get 35 miles per gallon. Mine averages 30-35 usually. Going across country was they best way to check your mileage average.
Was that at MotoSport in PA, Po3? My wife sounds like she actually may get one now!!! She's thinking Ryker, but I told her to do the class and try to test drive all 3. While the RT or even F3 Limited doesn't look as sporty with all that storage, it's a big advantage to have it. Plus you can't beat the luxuries that come with the bigger models. But I'mma stick with my F3-S SS...😁😁

Of course the one spec that caight my eye is the 400 lb towing capacity. The F3 is due for a design change, but unlikely as there aren't any whispers or rumors that I know of. Excellent overview 👊😎👍
@@PurpleOnThree Nope, got nuthin', usually if there's leaks or rumors, Coach Bob does a good job of letting us know what he knows. But the F3 hasn't had any siginificant designs changes in a few years. The RT went through a major change in 2020, it just feels like the F3 is due for a change.
I really like the looks of the current F3 compared the the previous models. The changes have all been internal or additions of things like cruise control. I figured with them switching to electric, that is when they will change the looks.
We will be seeing soon. I am really curious this time what they will do. I think its either a body style change to prepare for going electric, or nothing at all for the F3.
My next one is going to be the RT. I will soon have a comparrison like what i did on the Ryker coming out soon. The reason I went on the "Can-Am Experience" was just so I could ride the new 2022 RT and see what it had to offer.
@@MOABMAN Limited or Sea to Sky? It is definitely a step up from the F3, especially if you're doing long rides. I know your wife is gonna love that when you all upgrade!
