@ I don’t disagree. If you would’ve asked me a week ago if I had preordered it, I would’ve told you yes. Ask me today after panicking through all the preorder sites to check for shipping updates and here we are!
*NEVER SAW* 🎯Warbird & 🎯Carnage on the shelves. I remember very clearly, Dan Yun hopping on a livestream saying that there should be enough Warbirds on the shelves for anyone who wanted one. When Black Widow was released, I actually saw 🎯 shelves full of that figure on the week she was released, so I honestly thought Warbird was going to be the same and didn't worry about pre-ordering. Starting at the beginning of this year back in January, I made up a rule for myself about collecting figures: I will only preorder a figure if a *REALLY REALLY* want it. Otherwise, I will try and hunt it down in stores. For the most part, I have not let *fomo* get to me like it did early on in my collecting (back in 2020-23😂) ....now my mindset is, if I don't find it in the store, then oh well, saved some money.
The first names that popped into my mind wee Cable & once a man Cobra Commander. 15:49 I've paid for pulse membership and it was sold out within 10 minutes... forget the 1hour window we were supposed to have as an advantage. 🤨
Great video. Love these kinds of videos. For me, Marvel Legends She Hulk was hell to find. Still haven't seen it at any retail store or Ross. "Twinkle Toes" MOTU New Eternia Sorceress has also been highly scalped. I got lucky, but Ebay STILL has that figure in the $40-$45 range because you can't find it. Last for me, ending the year on a rough note, is the TMNT IDW KRANG 8" ACTION FIGURE WITH COMIC BOOK. I haven't seen a single hunter find that. Lots of people have found the Shredder, but Krang? Nope. Its literally a ghost right now.
good list, mostly makes sense, but I'll have to agree with a few that were missed.. Cable was hard to find, and prices jumped because of it (still up) Power Princess (VOID BAF wave) and definitely the Wonderwoman "dc collectors edition"
I hate when I start factoring in gas usage when I come up empty handed! I used to live in Dallas where there are Targets and Walmarts everywhere! Now I live in Bumfuck North Carolina and the closest Target is 40 miles away, and our Walmart never has jack! I was able to get the last Tiger Paw for 40 bucks at Target and today I found a Retro Cobra Trooper at Gamestop, so it was a great feeling!
So this is what you do in Nc look up your closest comic store they’ll have a surplus of gi and legends also Walmart is super late like SUPER LATE I worked there (obviously not yours) but you need to ask about the wave 2 weeks after street release with your code or 1 week before bc it’s probably in back but neglected until the week of Christmas when they clear out back of the storage and put it all out
Ps always check above and below but if the collector works there you might screwed bc they always hold it some of my best scores came from shopping the isles 5 am

A toy company watching the secondary market is smart and so happy Vala issued a new Trigger. Unfortunately Hasblow's business model is as nimble as the Titanic after the iceberg......lol I slept on the Tiger Orange from Ramen and kind of regret it, but not enough to pay the secondary market price.
I think I have the joes and optimus. I don't do marvel. Had trigger and sold him before prices went super crazy but someone still offered double retail and I took it.
HA !! ..I liked the part where you said Nemesis Enforcer NOT Nemisis Immortal because “Enforcer” is his true name ;) Hate when they change stuff for dumb reasons. They are also doing it with a Marvel Comics character / action figure. The character is Holocaust but now changed to Nemesis because the first name is apparently offensive because of what happened to Jewish people in WW2. (maybe ..?) Guess the word holocaust is now unusable to anyone. Very odd how “Nemesis” has become a name involved with several character changes. Also odd is the origin of the name Nemesis .. In Greek mythology, Nemesis was the goddess of vengeance and retribution, and her name literally means "distribution”. This video & list is very much about the “distribution” of these toys. What a coincidence right?
