With the recent decline in Samuel Kim music posting, and a kind of lack of variety, I've turned to you for epic music. Not as a replacement, but as an equal or perhaps superior in quality, variety of music, and general EPIC vibes. Well done!
I broke down the rattling drums into 2 categories which are rhythm and sound. The rhythm was the hardest part and I used multiple references to make sure I had the exact idea. Once I finished the rhythm part I searched for sounds (instruments) that would fit that rhythm. I developed and experimented with percussive-like sounds on synthesisers such as the Zebra and Massive X. After, I doubled it with organic drums such as the taiko drum from LA Modern Percussion which predominantly made up a good chunk of the drums. I hope the insight helps! :)
hey bro amazing as always. hey is it ok if i use some of your tracks for a transformers sires i'm doing you will get credit for the music it will on my other channel called JB studios

Vid to vid that would be at 4:35 🫡
This is well done, I like the exotic ambiance it has
I like how the Dune motif resembles church music by the end. Beautiful.
Amen
I'm glad you left the organ in during the last part. I wish they had for the OST.
I liked how you made the soundtrack sound like in the movie, that organ bit is missing in the official version
That’s because the song playing in the movie is a mix between ‘the shortening of the way’ from the Dune Sketchbook album and the official version
@@acoolcracker Do you have a timestamp for when the organ bit is in "shortening of the way?" feel like i'm losing my mind trying to find it
@@tryingosling pretty sure that organ bit is unreleased, sorry for giving you false hope
@@tryingosling well what do you know… th-cam.com/video/zzYPIuHi4fA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=EIhUWVQMy5EsovR4
@@tryingosling good news! Look up worm ride from the part 2 soundtrack.

Thanks for adding the organ on the end! Sounds great!

Seriously impressive!
so cool
This is phenomenal man, would you be willing to try Blood for Blood from the score? It would sound amazing in your style
I love that track! Maybe I'll give it a go after I tackle a couple of other tracks from Dune. :)
how did you made the rattling drum sound
