Thank you for taking the time to make this video and share. I learned several tips and tricks in a short time. Wish you would have shown what it looks like from the outside looking in.
How do you get the liner to be on the person-side of the film? Do you re roll it the opposite way it’s wound on the factory spool? How to prevent it from being underneath the film. Thanks!
You should trim both sides, top & bottom with release cuts after you slightly tack it down, don't go all the way so as to not have contamination & use one factory edge side as well, less cutting, less work
Do you know what you don't see in the Windows Tint application videos? Yes, how and what to do when there is crap mounted in the window space, like electric open signs that are mounted to the frame, Window blinds, and other crap. Another way is to determine if the glass has any coating.

I'm glad you found the tips helpful! I'll definitely consider showing more perspectives in future videos.

He roll the opposite way!!
Hi Kevin, the reverse roll can get pretty confusing but the gentlemen below is correct. Thank you for watching!
Always have to re-roll , Always ! That's the beginning of the trick itself , needs to be addressed for a new video
How you reverse roll and the liner was facing you i though reverse roll the liner should've been underneath right @thetintstitute
Wait, so the sticky side of the film is facing out, not on the window?

Call me stupid but can’t work out this reverse roll, sticky side is not against window can you explain please
So what side has the adhesive been applied??
I just don't get it.
Is this a machine shop? Noticed the starret granite surface plate
Where can i get a squeegee like that to apply the tint?
Nice install! What kind of card are you using for trimming the edges?
Thanks for watching! We use just any regular card but all work the same and you can use any kind you'd like to use
Always address the re-roll off the cutting bar, the adhesive liner must be to the inside, thats extremely important
Thanks for the comment!
Nice video neat corner trick...did u prep with blade ???
Thank you! Yes he prepped with a blade. Check out our latest video for our prep process.
Whats acceptable as far as seeing random dust particles under the film on a door that big? I hear its impossible to do a perfect tint install!
How much to charge for something like this?
We charge by the sq ft, anywhere from $6-$15 depending on the film and the other specifics of the job.
Clean install 👌
Thanks for the feedback!
