Despite of poverty, Filipinos can still afford to laugh and enjoy life. That's why Phillipines is called the Land of Smiles. As what EZ MIL said in his PANALO verse on the Wish Bus... "Despite any turmoil, I'll be proud of my soil... Why? Because that's how Filipinos are....." This guy (JMARA) is an example of lots of underrated talents in the Philippines. Btw, I highly recommend JUAN KARLOS (JK Labajo) with his song "ERE" (Air/Mid-Air) that hit the charts late last year. He is one unique and talented artist/songwriter too. Lived in Binondo Manila ..near that Smoky Mountain. Came to Germany in the 80's with my Sis when i was young. How my Mom manage to emigrate to Germany and get us there. A strong Woman who Love her Family and have Trust in God Almighty. Now 53 have a Family of my own, planing to go back for Good after 2 Years. Why ? MAHAL KO ANG PILIPINAS !!

I love his patriotism, his song is real life happening. I started listening to his songs a year ago, and I must say he's an underrated talented man. There are other underrated artists here that needs to be heard.
Filipinos are hardworking people they can labor on whatever clean job however we lack government backing on this endeavor. This song realy narrates the truth despite of how gracious this land is.

I don't know the guy. First time i heard of him through your channel. Great talent! But you see, there are two sides to everything..it's not all hell in here. A lot of Filipinos live the good life. You just have to overcome whatever atruggles you're going through. If some people amount to that, maybe there's something wrong in the way they conduct their lives.

Actually. On that part he said what he work for today is just enough for today has a little error because what he said is what he will get for working today was been spent yesterday which is kinda funny but true😂
That’s fire 🔥. What I think he means is we all in debt so no matter what we make today (the poor) is already spent yesterday. So we in negative at all times basically. Yes the captions did him dirty on that line. The actual translation (thank you btw) is way better.
