This was my first exercise after having a baby. I finished feeding him this morning and decided to get back. It felt so good to be working out with Jo. It felt like she was in the room with me. I previewed the workout last night and decided to commit to this as a morning routine. I woke up today, weighed in. completed this workout. Yes, I didn't quit, I completed it! Then went for a two-mile walk. I'm so glad that i finished this and actually broke a little sweat. I can do this consistently.
i'm planning on starting this challenge today 2.9.2024 and i'm going to do this for the whole month. I'll be updating after every week. I'm on calorie deficit, also i cut sugars!! Remind me👇🏼 -- Week 1: ✅ It was tough... My legs were sore the whole week, day 4 was the hardest for me. Week 2: I managed to do 2 days before i injured my ankle..... So for the 2nd week im resting. Let's hope i'm able to contiune next week! Week 3: My ankle is still hurting and that's why i couldnt do these this week, i did little workouts instead which wasnt bad for my ankle... Week 4: My ankle is still weak so i did other workouts... I still will come back to this one day! Total weight loss: 1kg --- Notes(6.9.2024) I'll update weight at the end of the month. I didnt take much of my measurements at the beginning but i think my muscles are stronger, atleast my arms!!
Wow! I feel so proud of myself this morning! I practiced this work-out for the first time 3 days ago and I gave it my all (after 6 months of daily dance workout with Jo, I thought I was ready). I ended the session in tears because I was exhausted and in pain. As I live daily with chronic pain and am learning to respect my current needs and limitations, I decided to adapt the 10-10-5 technique and do it only every 2 days (I alternate with gospel dance workout videos). And this morning: I finished the session tired but victorious, with a big smile! Thank you Jo for your gentleness, your smile and your inspiring vitality!
I'm 24, and 4 Months ago i gave birth to my third child. Its been quite a journey with my weight in all my pregnancies, i always gain between 20-30 Kilogramm and struggled with finding the time to workout (kids are 4,2 and 4 months so its busy here) but these workouts always getting it started for me. They motivate me so much. Right now i'm on week 3 with Jo's workouts, doing them daily for 30-40 minuted and changed my diet . After birth i was at 80 Kilogramm (172cm height) and now i am at 66 , feeling energetic and very happy. Thank you Jo, love from Germany

I love that I got super sweaty (worked hard!) during this workout without intense cardio like fast feet and running in place, etc. etc. I don't hate fast cardio, but I just really loved that I could get my sweat on in a calmer manner today! Thank you!

OMG I did it!🎉 And with no struggles I was able to keep up with your pace the whole time and what I ABSOLUTELY LOVE about you JO is that working out with you, you make 35 mins fly by SO fast! Yet when im done I'm drenched in sweat and I feel amazing 🎉 finding you and your channel has ABSOLUTELY changed not only my fitness life but just my life in general. @@bethelihemdebesai1014 to be totally honest no, I am not doing like any specific type of die. And I know it sounds cliche or repetitive but two of the biggest eating habits I changed while starting the workouts is that I just started drinking water all day long, even with my meals.I like drinking mineral water with my meals so I can still get the carbonation and the rest of the day just some water with lemon. So replacing sodas with water changed my swelling issues a lot. Also even though I still eat sweets but I changed that a lot too, meaning I switched processed or refined sugar desserts for fruits. Like apples with peanut butter or Nutella etc. and just over all started eating more whole foods . Lots of lean meats, veggies and fruits and nuts etc. so I'm not following a specific diet, I'm just eating a more overall balanced healthier diet and I still indulge my cravings once in a while without going crazy. Honestly once I stayed consistent with the workouts and hydrating myself regularly with water, my usual cravings and sugar cravings actually started naturally going away and I was actually craving the healthier foods. During that time of the month though I would still struggle with wanting to eat more/ indulge in my cravings so I just found ways to fill up on higher amounts of lower calorie foods like the fruits and veggies and I'd find healthier versions of my usual "go to" sweet snacks to satisfy my sweet tooth. I know it's not any new or different info than the usual " just eat healthier and drink more water" advice, but truly and honestly that's what has worked for me. Also Jo is not wrong consistency is key with both the workouts and the nutrition you have to stay consistent with both and be patient with yourself most of all and you'll start to see the results. Before anything else I changed my mindset and attitude towards myself I gave myself more grace and patience and everything else has started falling into place. I still have a long road ahead but I know I'll get there this time so I know you can too. I wish you the best and just be more gentle with yourself and just don't give up. Stick with it because you know you're worth it ❤️
I've been doing Jo's 15 minute full body stretch for Tight Muscles & Soreness every day. Today, I added this to my routine following my stretch. I love this! ❤️ Simple but fun and effective. I'm 58 years old and haven't been consistent until now. I'm so excited to just focus on showing up here daily.
I am so praising God for you! I'm recovering from severe mold poisoning in many organs of my body that took a lot of my muscle and energy away. I am thankful that I was just able to do this entire workout as best I could and I feel it, but I'm not over exhausted!! Actually, I never left commentaries under the workout videos, but this one workout just made me leave one. Guys, I have an eating disorder and sometimes, I have periods when I can't stop eating for weeks. In order to get out of them I need to do something active, but when I gain weight I feel insecure to go out and be surrounded by people cuz I'm scared that they will think something bad about me. I tried to do Pilates, cardio or stretching, but it makes me feel exhausted. I found this video in my fyp and at first I was thinking that this workout must be super easy and ineffective, but I was surprised when in the end of the video I was sweating, but my lungs weren't dying. I really loved this workout. My advice for everyone who feels depressed and unloved is to turn on this video and do this workout with happy music like "can't stop the feeling"
Yesterday I tried and did 20 minutes and today I did the complete routine, proud of myself, since I met you Jo I am learning to take care of myself, I have been doing your routines for two months now, I started with 10 minutes and now I can do more than 30 minutes ❤😊

I had acl replacement surgery, and 2 other knee surgeries on one knee and 2 on the other plus bi-latertal shoulder, and bi lateral ankle surgeries, and Joe is my lifeline! I modify when I have to, but I push myself and can do most of her low and some high impact routines. God bless you, Jo! You are helping to change lives, definitely mine and my daughter's bc I'll be more active and able to get out more with her. I have to get used to the talking, it does help a lot. Im just used to you mouthing things, which helped me push through. I do a lot of the older exercises and am slowly incorporating some new ones.
I have used your workouts for a long time now, and you are my absolute favorite coach! Thanks to your workouts my body is now strong enough to do harder workouts like jogging, which I struggled with for many years after giving birth to child number 3 and 4. Today I really didn't feel like working out, but I found this workout and decided to give it a try. It was the right thing to do today, I feel amazing after doing this. This was a good workout and obviously well put together. However, I prefer the more laidback style... less about coaching and doing a program and more about moving my body and feeling like I'm working out with a friend. I also hope that Jo knows she can take more time for recovery if she needs to. No need to churn out content at the expense of her happiness. We'll all still be here...

Starting doing this on 30th april, 2024. Day 1 ✅ I weighed myself after and before workout and i clearly lost 600 grams after doing this. Amazing it is, going to follow the routine for 3 months on a daily basis. Current weight= 71 kg Aim to reach= 60 kg in 3 months. Will keep updating!! (I have a good feeling about this) 🧿 Day 2 Done 🎉 Day 3 Done (but did day 4 video since i have a 3 hr long exam today and couldn't risk my arms :)) Day 4 Done feeling it in my arms and loving it!!! My partner pays and has me on his plan. I've never seen an ad. It's not a lot a month but if you want to save money, just walk through it or do your fave movement. If something is to hard for me, I just dodge anyways😅💖 I think it's just about keeping it moving. I hope that helps

This was great! I did this yesterday and I was sweating! I use to be in shape but after many years of living the sedentary lifestyle and yoyo dieting, I ended up gaining so much weight. I am the heaviest I have ever been. Therefore working out is sometimes hard because some movements I cannot do all the way because my arms are big now and so is my stomach. However, I would like to do your workouts consistently, they give me peace, with or without music. I am able to believe in myself as your words are comforting and give me hope! As someone who regularly struggles with getting in good ab workouts, these moves really opened up my idea of what exercising those muscles can look like. I hate the more traditional forms of ab exercises so this was amazing! Thanks Jo!

I got off track for a bit due to health both physical and mental but today I am back. I wanted to try something new and this not only made me sweat and feel good, but was at a pace and with encouragement that was everything! Thank you for reminding us to focus on the present and not the far future. Its easy to get caught up in that frequently! We can do this!
I love how you don't rush. A majority of the exersizes I've done were too fast for chubby me, There were times that I couldn't breathe during several cardios and leave the exersize half completed but your exersizes are calmer, making me feel safe and sound. Thank you
I loved this video. I've been doing your workouts off and on for a while and I always love how encouraging you are. Your energy is so light and beautiful. This video was a little bit different for some reason. I almost teared up a couple of times during this one. You said exactly what I needed to hear. AND not to mention, I LOVE this method. Week 1: ✅ It was tough... My legs were sore the whole week, day 4 was the hardest for me.
Week 2: I managed to do 2 days before i injured my ankle..... So for the 2nd week im resting. Let's hope i'm able to contiune next week!
Week 3: My ankle is still hurting and that's why i couldnt do these this week, i did little workouts instead which wasnt bad for my ankle...
Week 4: My ankle is still weak so i did other workouts... I still will come back to this one day!

Wow! I feel so proud of myself this morning! I practiced this work-out for the first time 3 days ago and I gave it my all (after 6 months of daily dance workout with Jo, I thought I was ready). I ended the session in tears because I was exhausted and in pain. As I live daily with chronic pain and am learning to respect my current needs and limitations, I decided to adapt the 10-10-5 technique and do it only every 2 days (I alternate with gospel dance workout videos). And this morning: I finished the session tired but victorious, with a big smile! Thank you Jo for your gentleness, your smile and your inspiring vitality!
I cried at the end in celebration for taking this time for myself ❤🎉 thank you! 🙏💪

I'm 24, and 4 Months ago i gave birth to my third child. Its been quite a journey with my weight in all my pregnancies, i always gain between 20-30 Kilogramm and struggled with finding the time to workout (kids are 4,2 and 4 months so its busy here) but these workouts always getting it started for me. They motivate me so much. Right now i'm on week 3 with Jo's workouts, doing them daily for 30-40 minuted and changed my diet . After birth i was at 80 Kilogramm (172cm height) and now i am at 66 , feeling energetic and very happy. Thank you Jo, love from Germany

I love that I got super sweaty (worked hard!) during this workout without intense cardio like fast feet and running in place, etc. etc. I don't hate fast cardio, but I just really loved that I could get my sweat on in a calmer manner today! Thank you!

OMG I did it!🎉 And with no struggles I was able to keep up with your pace the whole time and what I ABSOLUTELY LOVE about you JO is that working out with you, you make 35 mins fly by SO fast! @@bethelihemdebesai1014 to be totally honest no, I am not doing like any specific type of die. And I know it sounds cliche or repetitive but two of the biggest eating habits I changed while starting the workouts is that I just started drinking water all day long, even with my meals.I like drinking mineral water with my meals so I can still get the carbonation and the rest of the day just some water with lemon. So replacing sodas with water changed my swelling issues a lot. Also even though I still eat sweets but I changed that a lot too, meaning I switched processed or refined sugar desserts for fruits. Like apples with peanut butter or Nutella etc. and just over all started eating more whole foods . Lots of lean meats, veggies and fruits and nuts etc. so I'm not following a specific diet, I'm just eating a more overall balanced healthier diet and I still indulge my cravings once in a while without going crazy. Honestly once I stayed consistent with the workouts and hydrating myself regularly with water, my usual cravings and sugar cravings actually started naturally going away and I was actually craving the healthier foods. During that time of the month though I would still struggle with wanting to eat more/ indulge in my cravings so I just found ways to fill up on higher amounts of lower calorie foods like the fruits and veggies and I'd find healthier versions of my usual "go to" sweet snacks to satisfy my sweet tooth. I know it's not any new or different info than the usual " just eat healthier and drink more water" advice, but truly and honestly that's what has worked for me. Also Jo is not wrong consistency is key with both the workouts and the nutrition you have to stay consistent with both and be patient with yourself most of all and you'll start to see the results. Before anything else I changed my mindset and attitude towards myself I gave myself more grace and patience and everything else has started falling into place. I still have a long road ahead but I know I'll get there this time so I know you can too. I wish you the best and just be more gentle with yourself and just don't give up. Stick with it because you know you're worth it ❤️

I've been doing Jo's 15 minute full body stretch for Tight Muscles & Soreness every day. Today, I added this to my routine following my stretch. I love this! ❤️ Simple but fun and effective. I'm 58 years old and haven't been consistent until now. I'm so excited to just focus on showing up here daily.
I am so praising God for you! I'm recovering from severe mold poisoning in many organs of my body that took a lot of my muscle and energy away. I am thankful that I was just able to do this entire workout as best I could and I feel it, but I'm not over exhausted!! Actually, I never left commentaries under the workout videos, but this one workout just made me leave one. Guys, I have an eating disorder and sometimes, I have periods when I can't stop eating for weeks. In order to get out of them I need to do something active, but when I gain weight I feel insecure to go out and be surrounded by people cuz I'm scared that they will think something bad about me. I tried to do Pilates, cardio or stretching, but it makes me feel exhausted. I found this video in my fyp and at first I was thinking that this workout must be super easy and ineffective, but I was surprised when in the end of the video I was sweating, but my lungs weren't dying. I really loved this workout. My advice for everyone who feels depressed and unloved is to turn on this video and do this workout with happy music like "can't stop the feeling"
Yesterday I tried and did 20 minutes and today I did the complete routine, proud of myself, since I met you Jo I am learning to take care of myself, I have been doing your routines for two months now, I started with 10 minutes and now I can do more than 30 minutes ❤😊

I had acl replacement surgery, and 2 other knee surgeries on one knee and 2 on the other plus bi-latertal shoulder, and bi lateral ankle surgeries, and Joe is my lifeline!
I modify when I have to, but I push myself and can do most of her low and some high impact routines.

I have to get used to the talking, it does help a lot. Im just used to you mouthing things, which helped me push through.

This was a good workout and obviously well put together. However, I prefer the more laidback style... less about coaching and doing a program and more about moving my body and feeling like I'm working out with a friend.
I also hope that Jo knows she can take more time for recovery if she needs to. No need to churn out content at the expense of her happiness. We'll all still be here...

My partner pays and has me on his plan. I've never seen an ad. It's not a lot a month but if you want to save money, just walk through it or do your fave movement. If something is to hard for me, I just dodge anyways😅💖 I think it's just about keeping it moving. I hope that helps

This was great! I did this yesterday and I was sweating! I use to be in shape but after many years of living the sedentary lifestyle and yoyo dieting, I ended up gaining so much weight. I am the heaviest I have ever been. Therefore working out is sometimes hard because some movements I cannot do all the way because my arms are big now and so is my stomach. However, I would like to do your workouts consistently, they give me peace, with or without music. I am able to believe in myself as your words are comforting and give me hope! I got off track for a bit due to health both physical and mental but today I am back. I wanted to try something new and this not only made me sweat and feel good, but was at a pace and with encouragement that was everything! I love how you don't rush. A majority of the exersizes I've done were too fast for chubby me, There were times that I couldn't breathe during several cardios and leave the exersize half completed but your exersizes are calmer, making me feel safe and sound. Thank you
