This video completely made my day! I really needed to know how to safely vaporize dihydrogen monoxide but was too embarrassed to ask. Thanks, Collins & Collins!
I have heard rumors regarding the dangers associated with the inhalation of Dihydrogen Monoxide for much of my life. Mr. Collins' warning has already improved my life.
Dear Mr Collins, Although I commend your focus on ensuring the proper safety precautions are observed when vaporising DHMO, I do feel there is some essential information lacking from your otherwise most instructive video. In my opinion it is important to also emphasise the fact that only a small quantity of DHMO should be vaporised. If too large a quantity of the DHMO in the container is vaporised, the remaining liquid may be of insufficient quantity to prepare the desired amount of hot beverage. This could lead to emotional distress. I trust we may look forward to many more of your instructive videos in future. Yours sincerely, John-Alan Pascoe
OMG! I love it! So perfect. Great writing. I'm crying from laughing so hard at things like "Municipal Spigot" and "Audible vapour sensation alarm". Also his use of oven mitts! OMG. So done! This was fabulous!
OMG, I love this. Mr. Collins I have missed you soo much! When he drank that tea it brought so many memories like: "Everybody deserves tea." Cannot wait to see what it's next.
These videos are all so helpful and informative, addressing the more simple tasks in life with such detail that all our lives are improved. Thank you, Collins and Collins.
I'd never thought about the fact that steam... Er, vaporized dihydrogen monoxide... Shouldn't be inhaled. But it makes sense. When it cools back down, you'll end up with water... Liquid dihydrogen monoxide... in your lungs. Thanks, Collins and Collins!
When I saw the title for the video I was like: "Oh, they're actually going to do some sort of science experiment, cool"... then he pulled the jar and it hit me LOLOL
So...any ideas on WHY "Better Living with Collins & Collins" is making new videos? Will Mr. Collins be seeking some wedding advice from Miss Woodhouse?
mr. collins! I fear you may have forgotten an important part of the consumption of heated dihydrogen monoxide--to use caution, because if too hot, like the vaporized form, can cause burns.
Surely a more efficient and safe way of vapourising Dihydrogen Monoxide would be to use a plug in Electric kettle, rather than the external heating element Mr Collins advises here? Bad show, Mr Collins.
Indeed, a specialised kettle with an internal heating element can prevent inadvertent contact with the heating element, thereby reducing the risk of thermal damage to the body.
I can't believe that LBD has me so whipped that I'm gonna watch all of these...
For everyone wondering, There was a perk on kickstarter that you get to pick a topic of a C&C video, thats why we're getting these now.
oh thanks. I was wondering!
no problem!
The goodies you get for being a die hard fan and subscribing to this channel. Thank you so much !

I know right. No body tells you these things! I was always burning myself. No after this video I don't!

I love how he believes in his message. Preach it!
People would be so confused if they didn't know about LBD
Actually I think it would probably be funny even if someone has never seen the series. :)
I just watched an entire video about the proper water-boiling technique. Sometimes I worry about my life choices.
'Municipal spigot' sounds so fancy.
I love the pause after he puts the water and the kettle on the bench lol
I love the Canadian tea!
Also, I love the whole thing. The end screen killed me.
Mr. Collins makes your life better. And he never fails.

OMG. WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE TO FIND THIS IN MY EMAIL ALERTS. BUT I . . . DOES THIS MEAN COLLINS IS PART OF THE EMMA APPROVED UNIVERSE NOW?? AHHH
LBD, WTS, and Emma Approved are all in the same universe.
This is because part of the kickstarter had a perk that a C&C video of your choice would be made.
gracierobyrdds Oop, I knew that! I meant I was hoping that Collins would somehow be part of EA.
jag519 Oh!! Thanks for clarifying!
Well, he is now.
This video improved my life significantly.

Leave it to Mr. Collins to not think just calling it "water" is enough.

When I saw the title for the video I was like: "Oh, they're actually going to do some sort of science experiment, cool"... then he pulled the jar and it hit me LOLOL
