Diamond setting by Bc_jewellery1 - micro pave, Honeycomb/zig zag pave setting
Firstly apologies for my audio. I’m having camera problems. I am trying my hardest to upgrade my equipment.
My aim here was to pack stones as closely as possible.
To do this stones had to be calibrated to 0.00 they were all 1.75mm and to maintain the level I also had to calibrate by girdle thickness. (Hence why I clipped out the majority of the stone setting as it would be very boring to watch)
Obviously working like this is unrealistic for trade and most work. But it’s fun to go above and beyond when you can. And top quality is my only goal.
For enquiries contact me either via instagram or email.

What is the thickness of the metal ?
very nice bro,amazing
Hi! When you do your preparation, do you drill to the diameter of the stone or 1/10 above?
Do me a favor can you name every tool used in this video? With description of each type
@@drowzzzy1631 great idea, next video i will do it in the description for this one I can’t imagine sorry as it was some time ago and now i changed my set up since
What's that thing you're using to push the diamonds down the only pushers I can't find are sqaure and big
@@drowzzzy1631 grind it myself with diamond wheels from brand edenta they go in the pendant or micromotor
Beautiful! B/w nice trick with markup - it gives good approximation to 60 degrees (real angle between stones is 63 and 54 degrees). however it is much much easier to draw.
Great work!! Thank you for the video, very detailed!! I have one question, did you use a cobra graver for better control oh the depth cut and the belly of the graver doesn't mark the metal??
Good job, 👏 what pneumatic hand piece are you using?
@@rauldelgado8306 my own machine is make myself more info soon

Can I ask where do you get the blank carbide rods, and what wheels do you use to grind them?
@@gantzi77 i use edenta wheels and the rods are ali express
@@bc_jewellery1 Thank you!
@@bc_jewellery1 Hi again, this wheel here th-cam.com/video/hQL4Sy0cgvE/w-d-xo.html looks different than my edenta. Do you remember what wheel is this that grind carbide so fast?

At 19:20 you start sharpening a tool to pin a specific shape, what is the process called?
And also what tool are you using to shape it? I’m a noobie. Thanks!
@@marvinlopez5880 the tool is called bevelux find on instagram. This process does not really have a name its just a renewal of an old beadinh tool
what machine do you use for engraving?
@@krasimircokov475 i build my own now. Early days will share more here soon hopefully working on prototype
1 question : Was it enough to cut the prongs in 2 ? Or the 2nd time when you pressed again ?

@@Northhh666 well thank you! More on the way. Editing from a phone currently so not ideal takes a long time
What is the face angle of your 60 degree blade?
Do you know more precisely which bronze alloy you have, when I bought a bronze plate myself, it is hard and cuts into crumbs, while your plate cuts beautifully!
@@KaiSimolaHandEngraver this specific one is from jura, he sells them precut. Pretty convenient but expensive if your regularly practicing. Normally i buy a large sheet. And cut by hand with a saw and file square myself. I will attach a link for you - a.aliexpress.com/_EHF0D5X
@@bc_jewellery1 Thank you!
@@bc_jewellery1 Thank you, I don't understand how you can cut that close to the hole and not have it fall down!
@@KaiSimolaHandEngraver combination of practice, very well sharpened gravers and correct layout 👍and the face angle normally make also about 60 degrees. I prefer it slightly steeper so it wont break so much.
@@bc_jewellery1 Many thanks for the advice, you are a great engraver, and a great man, when you give advice to others, not many people do that!
