Retrospective Cohort is a study design where you compare the risk of developing a disease in an exposed [to a certain risk factor] group VS non-exposed group. (you are trying to figure out whether the disease will occur in the exposed group similarly with the non exposed or not). While Case-control is a study design where you already know the disease, but trying to figure out possible risk factors. This is why in retro cohorts you can use Odds ratio and Risk ratio, while in case-control you can only use Odds ratio (No comparable risks here)

I just want to ask about the difference between retrospective cohort and case control
Retrospective Cohort is a study design where you compare the risk of developing a disease in an exposed [to a certain risk factor] group VS non-exposed group. (you are trying to figure out whether the disease will occur in the exposed group similarly with the non exposed or not).
While Case-control is a study design where you already know the disease, but trying to figure out possible risk factors.
This is why in retro cohorts you can use Odds ratio and Risk ratio, while in case-control you can only use Odds ratio (No comparable risks here)
