I had this problem,only once computer report low oil pressure. Oil pump is problem, need to change this robber part. I had 1000 euro cost of reparation of engine.
@@aivarasberneckis6892 It does not solve anything it relies on rubber gasket just the same as the stock seal. Any seal will be subject to detonation particularly if diesel gets in the oil through poor DPF operation. Also it now has 4 sealing surfaces not 2 as per stock.
@@alex3240 Infully aggree here. The original problem is a brittle gasket. Of you just replace it with an new one, the problem is also solved for about 150.000 km again. Adding this machined part does not provide any advantage over the simple replacement of the gasket. In fact it brings in more failure possibilities, as there's an additional surface without any rubber seal. Of course the problem is gone, when you replace the original gasket. With or without the additional part.

How about to put couple of groves for o-rings on both sides?

This is BS and by adding the metal tube makes the rubber seal less secure as there is an additional leakage point.
This solution tested and works perfect.
