She seems to control everything in her music videos, especially her facial expression, but the way she looks uncomfortable when it isn't scripted in contrast is... Kinda cute. Makes you remember artists are just humans like us and not some kind of god.
I think what you are seeing in a lesser confidence in her English language. Though probably a bit of anxiousness about being interviewed this was 4 years ago after all, she was fairly small at the time, nothing like now anyway or even 2 years ago when you posted your comment. Though you can see she gets a little more comfortable as it goes on.
Hell of a smile though. So big and bright. For someone who sings and makes videos about such dark things. You can tell her music gives her a true outlet for negative emotion.

What a cute smile and personality for someone who makes such dark music.
A lot of musicians from the far side of the Metal spectrum (sounds stupid but I am at a loss for more precise words, sorry) are surprisingly mellow.... Marilyn Manson, for example or the band members of Rammstein, Nergal from Behemoth - it makes sense, they have an outlet for stress or anger.

its amazing to be in the generation of getting to hear new bands like this and to grow with the fanbase. i love this band and everything they have created so far has just blown my mind i cant wait for more and i hope that so much more content is put out. if i had the cash i would drop it on a SKYND CD right now if it was on a disc cause i love everything about this band from the makeup, to the videos. as i've said before i think its pure genius using things in our history and putting music to it. what better way to teach then through the one thing that is used every hour of every day. from cell phones to ipads, laptops, car radios, etc music is everywhere all the time. Great stuff truly an awesome band

I LOVE ME SOME SKYND! She got some facts a bit mixed up in her interview but i can tell she isn't a "Interview me" type of person as i wouldn't be either lol. So i cannot bash her for that, she knows her talent is in music and telling a story within it. That is Unique and simply sexy in itself. Lose for the interview but HUGE WIN for the music! Eric: I know the point you are making. If anything it's morbid and they are cashing in not just on the glorification of serial killers, but on the deaths of victims. This is poor form and in my opinion going too far. They could make equally as good music without the morbid influences.

SKYND has awesome music, a beautiful face, and tons of potential, but she seems a little superficially informed with her comments and videos. Gary Heidnick preyed on black women, but the music video is all white people. Katherine Knight, in this interview was called a 'normal woman'. Katherine Knight was a lunatic, far from normal. She didn't kill for love, she killed because she was given too much leniency with regards to previous incidents involving her penchant for rage and physical aggression, including stabbings and infant abuse.
I'm sure she's aware. She probably changed a few details on purpose. I mean the way we are so politically correct nowadays do you think people would look into a bunch a black woman getting chopped up by a white man in a video as a history lesson or racist propaganda?
Opl would think the world was on fire if they used black women. Also I thinm theres a language barrier lol english ismther first language so i think shes not use to expressing her thoughts fully in english so they become distorted because shes not sure of the proper or correct phrasing.
What kind of a world do we live in that a singer is making videos practically glorifying serial killers and the main concern is what race the victims are depicted as? Really let that sink in for a moment
