I really appreciate empties videos for a bunch of reasons but mainly it shows what content creators ACTUALLY like, not just what they're supposed to like. It also gives that long term opinion of a product, showing it's not just a flash in the pan
Love empty videos 💖 instead of Sol de janiero I've been using Palmer's Brazilian coco cream whipped body cream & it's amazing & affordable. I get really dry in the winter. I also have gas heat so that doesn't help so they also have a body oil that I use and I believe that they reformulated because it smells just like coconut cream like a coconut cream cake 🍰🥥
iIlove empties please consider doing more in the future! Another option so you're not saving a ton of trash at a time, you can include at the end of favorites videos or reviews videos. Happy New year!
Great job with the empty's! I like the Juno and co cleansing balm ok. Amazon sells one that I like better and is cheaper. it's the ucanbe in the green jar. I've tried so many balms and this is my holy grail especially for the price. I've tried the different ordinary retinoid serums you mentioned. The retinal worked a lot better for me too. I'm not a big believer in the granactive retinoid. I just don't think it does as well for acne and anti-aging in fact my skin went backwards. after years of increasing strengths, I finally worked my way up to tretinoin now and at 48 I'm so happy I can use it even with sensitive skin.
Ooh thank you for the recommendation! And yes the granactive at 2% didn't seem effective for me. I'll try the 5% in squalane to see if that's the best of both worlds!
@@slashedbeauty There is an ingredients list on the packaging. It's in white lettering but I see that squalane is one of the ingredients. I have sensitive acne prone skin and this doesn't bother it, but I also do a second cleanse. Is there something you're trying to avoid?
Not particularly, I was kind of wanting to get a general idea of how many ingredients were in there since the Juno one only has 10-- but also felt like it was a red flag they don't list them anywhere prior to buying! I just found a photo of the ingredients within the Amazon reviews and my main concern would be the added artificial fragrance being so high on the ingredients list (meaning there's a lot of it)
It was the ColourPop so juicy liner in slay, and the wet n wild mega slicks gloss in nudie mood but I will say the liner smudges out of place with a gloss on top 😣
Hello, new subscriber here 🤗 I love empty videos because it gives us a feel for what you are using a lot, and I love the reviews to know if it’s worth it
I use the same retinol as you, I love it for night time cuz it's pretty, idk I don't want to say greasy but it's very hydrating and my skin loves it!! Most of my skincare comes from the ordinary, I absolutely love their products. May God bless 💙💙
I use hair conditioner as shaving cream 😆 the razor glides well and my skin feels super soft afterwards, I started doing it after one day I was in the shower and I forgot I'd run out of shaving cream, I thought hair conditioner might work and it did! 😁 never looked back, any cheap conditioner works just fine so it's also a money saver 😆... anyway, yes to empties videos
I feel like empties videos are the most informative videos because most products you need to use for a while to see if there is any difference or if your skin likes it or if you would repurchase is the best to know. There is a Positive Radiant night cream from Aveeno that is the only product that I have seen a difference overnight but it might be too thin for you. I have oily skin just less oily in winter but in New Orleans it was summer yesterday and now it's winter 😂. They do have an eczema cream. Not sure if it has oats in it but I think that's why my skin loves Aveeno. I never had or smelled the bum bum cream but everyone is going nuts about a product at the dollar tree. It's called Brazilian Mist and they have shower gel, shave gel and a bunch more items. Maybe if you go just try and smell it if they have it. I am more of a watermelon, pear, and peach scent girl but does anyone have any recommendations for a fall fruit scent?
Thank you!! I haven't heard about the Dollar Tree one but I know a lot of people say Trader Joes has a version that's great as well. Aveeno has some great eczema products, yes the oats are great!
A quick note about The Inkey Salicylic Acid Cleanser, if you have combination skin like me, you might want to use it only on oily skin. Even though I don't have sensitive skin, regular use of this cleanser on my whole face and neck dried out my "normal" skin something fierce. It's fantastic for my oily nose, though. (Yes, my nose has its own cleanser now...) 😅
Yes! That’s why I said I think it’s more so for oily skin, because of the zinc compound that’s supposed to be oil controlling can be drying if you don’t need it!
I just discovered sol de janeiro, and now I don't want to go back to tree hut. Tree hut smells amazing and I get great results, and I love it... but sol de janeiro smells like heaven. I love Sol! But I'm thinking about trying the EOS cashmere skin shave collection, to go easy on my wallet. Has anyone had good luck with the EOS? I love the vanilla cashmere body lotion. I love that, but love Sol more. Lol! Please more empties!
I tooootally get you- I do like the SDJ creams, I just can’t do that price tag lol. Do you see the firming results that it advertises? I’m curious what you’d think of the nature well cream since it has the same key ingredients.
@slashedbeauty well.... no... but that is probably bc like you, I'm not using it all the time. I just can't justify a $50 price point for a body butter. Not in this economy. With the EOS cashmere vanilla lotion (which is viral for a reason btw) it's great, it helps my dry menopausal body skin perfectly for 18ish hrs as they advertise. A large bottle is only $8 dollars.

Absolutely agree, Ashley! I definitely want to make it a regular video topic once I gather enough of them!
@slashedbeauty in that case, I'm looking forward to more!

We also have gas heat so I totally hear you on that!! I didn’t realize that was more drying than a furnace?
@veronika__asmr_ I'm going to have to look for that, thank you so much!
@doriebishop8971 it's so good 👍🏻
We appreciate you for sharing this with us🥰
Five Below has a 5 dollar dupe for BumBum cream and it's pretty great!
Ooooo thanks for letting me know!

That’s also a great idea! I’ll have to gauge how many products I use up at once / saving over a few months. Thanks for watching!!
Yes to the empties videos 🎉
That retinol is amazing.
It’s so good and affordable!

hm... I can't find a full list of the UCANBE cleansing balm, even on the brand's site. Do they list the ingredients on the packaging?
@@slashedbeauty I hope it is

I use the nature well(bum bum cream copy) I've never tried the Sol de janiero but the nature well smells AMAZING!! May God bless 💙💙
It does! Sometimes I’ll put it on without any perfume!
Love your recommendation. Definitely gonna get the Nature Well lotion. BTW, what are you wearing on your lips? The color looks great on you!
It was the ColourPop so juicy liner in slay, and the wet n wild mega slicks gloss in nudie mood but I will say the liner smudges out of place with a gloss on top 😣
@ oh no! Nonetheless it still looked nice!

Yes exactly, the oil serum is just the right consistency for my dry skin! The Ordinary makes some great affordable products!
