i know the 355 gets all the love because it's faster and more refined, but i think it looks much worse. I think the 348, with that beautiful rear black grid, is one of the best looking ferraris ever made, alongside the Testarossa (1984) and the 512 BBi (1984)

I live in Norway and then i think we have different coasts for service.. Most important is you find a good one and it have be take care of and you're cost be low. Yessss its a really beautiful lady this car !

A right hand drive, black Spider.I have owned her for 10 years.In that time I had driven about 500miles as it went into storage.I then brought it back to life this spring (not cheap!) and hit Europe in her clocking up some 2000 miles in one trip. It now needs a full respray,primarily due to her age.One thing is for sure, I wont be selling her.Its how a Ferrari should be, no electronic gizmos, manual shift and no power steering and comes from a time when Ferrari was for drivers.
Your car sounds heavenly, and is superbly clean. Love the unpretentious start-up, idling and very gently revs. The styling on the 348 makes it one of my favorite Ferraris. It is beautiful, simple, very original / unique (late 70s futuristic look executed in the late 80s)... makes up for a car that's not 'loud' or outrageous like some of the newer models. I love your car.

Love the video too, very cleverly opening and closing the video with the door shot - on opening to reveal the Ferrari and on closing putting it away until the next time. Brilliant.....!!!

Not really, alot of the times when a car is away for winter, and its icy outside with salt on the roads. A car is started and warmed up in a garage to operating temperatures. This is done on older Ferrari's to stop seals from drying out.
i really like these 348s, they are a mix of the older 308 and some modern model, not sure why but they just seem to be the perfect all round ferrari for someone like me , im used to normal stuff like mercedes e class, mini cooper, mx5, .... really want one of these

Also..Lexus has NEVER even made a car that ran more than a 13.99 and that is going back to 1990 AND the 4 door autos. Here is a kick in the nuts..A HYUNDAI GENESIS is MUCH faster and has a 100,000 mile warranty.. The 348 was $89,000 new with Engine Out service of $6 to$ 8,000 every 3 to 5 years for a 300hp engine..Versus NO work on a Hyundai Genesis Coupe with a 3.8 366HP..As a Dealer I wont take tgem as trades unless the price is LOW. Just not worth the trouble..
Yes, but you're talking like the American you are: focused on straight power/more/bigger is better. Yeah the 5.0 is faster in a straight line, hell maybe the Sienna too. But I, and other true driving enthusiasts prefer driving around tight bends on lonesome mountain roads, and I guarantee you that Sienna and Mustang could not handle the 348 up there. No one cares about 1/4 mile times except fat Texans in their shitty 80's muscle cars, I should know, I have an 87 Chevy R10 with an LS3 and I'm sure it could walk this Ferrari in a straight line but I'd take the Ferrari any day because of what it looks like and what the badge stands for in the car world. Sure, maybe the maintenance is expensive for guys like us, but that's because they were never designed to be owned by guys like us, which is another reason why it's more special than a Sienna/Mustang/Genesis: it's more exclusive. If you can't decide between a Hyundai Genesis and a 348 because you're weary of the costs of the 348, you can't afford it, simple as that!

Best way to treat an engine like that is to start it up then drive for at least 50 miles/80 kms.
