Because here the Y dominant gene is the lethal gene not the y recessive gene and this is the example of dominant lethality where due to the dominant gene in homozygous condition the death is cause. I hope you understand my point.

Why didn't cuenot assume the alleles to be heterozygous if he didn't get the ratio as 3:1 .. If he would have just assumed that what if this is heterozygous then he would have realized why the mice is dying or why he is getting 2:1
You said lethal genes are recessive. So, in your example about the mice, the Y gene should`ve been recessive, as its homozygous condition is killing the mice. But if it were recessive, that Yy would be brown; not yellow. According to you ,if Y is dominant(i.e lethal gene is dominant) , than why don`t we see its lethality in its heterozygous condition?

If that scientist thought that all parental mice generation was homozygous, the phenotype of F1 he would have expected would be 1 (i.e. 100%). Instead of 3:1.

Y gene two character show krta h..... 1. yellow mice colour(dominant) and 2.mice k viability ko control krta h jo ki Recessive hota h--- responsible for lethality. Jab Yy condition hogaa tb Y dominant hoga y pr jo ki mice ko Yellow colour degaa yy only responsible for Non yellow colour or brown colour so lethality me me yy ka koi role nhii...... YY( Homozygous condition) me jb mice hota h tb mice embryonic stage me hi dead kr jaata h.........So only YY gene is responsible for lethality 😊

sir If homozygous genes dies in embryonic stage then why the reccessive homozygous gene ie. the 'yy' (grey colour) don't die?

Board m iss topic se question aayegi?? 🙄
Sir pls tell will this come in boards
Sir ek chota sa doubt h,,, recessive yy wala lethal ku nhi hua...
Y gene two character show krta h.....
1. yellow mice colour(dominant) and
2.mice k viability ko control krta h jo ki Recessive hota h--- responsible for lethality.
Jab Yy condition hogaa tb Y dominant hoga y pr jo ki mice ko Yellow colour degaa
yy only responsible for Non yellow colour or brown colour so lethality me me yy ka koi role nhii......
YY( Homozygous condition) me jb mice hota h tb mice embryonic stage me hi dead kr jaata h.........So only YY gene is responsible for lethality 😊
The twinkling of under lines distracts
Sir, if the lethal gene mostly recessive then why die the yellow mice(YY) whose have dominant alleles
