  • In this video, we dive into how the Buffalo Bills’ defense managed to completely stymie the Miami Dolphins’ high-octane offense. By employing their trademark smart, fast, and physical style of play, the Bills were able to slow down and neutralize one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL.

Smart breakdown, there are really only 2 things that can break down our (bills) defense. #1 and most importantly is a qb who can react post snap and adapt to the movements of our guys. Post snap always looks different to pre snap so we eat up the qb’s who either decide pre snap where they are going with the ball or they are guys like Tua who struggle when that first read isn’t immediately open or looks different than he expected. Also running qb’s are a weakness just like every other defense. Secondly is a fast shifty back like Achance/Mostert who can either get the edge or make fast cutbacks. Those guys always tear us up on the ground. Like the breakdown, hopefully it looks just as good Monday night bs the Jags

Great compilation Erik. Definitely hyped me up more for the rest of the season. The young guys clearly have some room/progress to make, but that is a good thing, as they both look promising, and seem to be doing alright so far. I am glad we have such an awesome organization, that is not only getting them prepped, but allowing them to come into a lower pressure environment because of our team's awesome scheming, and players that play so well together. Going to be a fun season loaded with highlights. Thanks for the great breakdowns, as always!
Side Note: James Cook (future HOF'er) is going to be excellent with this team, and people will soon realize his power! Lol

McDermott/Bean get smart guys, when Williams and Spector
got reps last year that really helped. I remember Brian Baldinger
calling the BIlls D an "amoeba" just a buch of guys flowing to the ball.
I was looking at the Bills photographers pictures and I was amazed
at how many pictures had 4,5,6 guys around the ball during a tackle.

He’s a boundary CB, so only comes in as a backup there. Lewis is playing Nickel right now and Ingram is that when bills go dime with Lewis shifting to dime backer.

So many players showing promise. Epenesa looks great, although I think his ceiling is lower than Rousseau's, and I'm seeing good things from pretty much every last guy. Daquan looks good, Oliver is on fire again, Von has his edge again, LB's are banged up and probably need some attention, but Dorian looks to be holding his own, 'Sul looks phenomenal, Benford looks awesome, Spector looks serviceable. And what ever happened with Nicholas Morrow, by the way? I was kinda excited to see us sign him. Someone else mentioned us signing Devin White. Not sure what our cap room is, but, he would probably be my ideal candidate ...if, we could fit him under the cap, lol. Devin White in a Bills uniform, ........count me in!

They won’t have anyone left to be fast, smart and physical. Does any other team in the NFl have 3 all pro level defenders hurt or are the Bills the only team that has this happen to them. I’m so tired of the f’ing injuries.

All their backup LBs besides Morrow are 8.5-9.5 RAS guys with good to great college tape. Morrow is a solid depth guy who can start. Spector when healthy is most likely an average or above starter. There's no one out there that will improve on that bunch. They have the horses this year.

Let's be honest about Ed Oliver. He did nothing last week against the Cardinals (0 tackles, 0 sacks) because he got manhandled. This time he was going against a weak Miami offensive line (3 tackles, 1 sack) . Is this also why he disappeared in the playoff game against KC last season? I don't know. Same with Epenesa.
