To a 70y/o Bills fan these breakdowns are amazing.
Where have you been all my life? Go Bills!
Good to hear!!
Peep Epenesa. He’s getting close. I thought he had regressed. But he’s low key got more moves.
Great analysis! As someone who does not know as much about defensive schemes and coverages, these videos are so informative! Go bills
I’m glad we can help!!
Me as well...tyvm look out Madden 91
Just heard Bernard should be ok in weeks to a month!! That is great news, Bills have to get healthy and stay relatively healthy this year.
Great film breakdown, thank you 👍
Thank you!!
Erik never stops.
NEVER!
Erik, always with the best breakdowns! This gets me AMPED for this defense this season.
Thanks for checking it out Mike!
The recognition (smart), the pursuit (fast), and the attack (physical) really limited the run game!
Great breakdown as always!
Thank you
Awesome analysis. Really love the breakdowns!
Thank you!!
Your the best erik thank you for taking time to do these breakdowns.
I gotchu brother
Erik you're awesome. Not many people will see or point out how quick Casey Toohill read that end around play. Outstanding work by both of you!
Stay smart.
Thanks
Go Bills!
I just found ur page today for first time. I'm a bills TH-cam content junkie and I gotta say you are incredibly knowledgeable and already my favorite person on here. Ty for the breakdowns. Go bills🎉
Commenting for the algorithm. Go Bills! Thank you C1!
Thank you go bills!
Smart breakdown, there are really only 2 things that can break down our (bills) defense. #1 and most importantly is a qb who can react post snap and adapt to the movements of our guys. Post snap always looks different to pre snap so we eat up the qb’s who either decide pre snap where they are going with the ball or they are guys like Tua who struggle when that first read isn’t immediately open or looks different than he expected. Also running qb’s are a weakness just like every other defense. Secondly is a fast shifty back like Achance/Mostert who can either get the edge or make fast cutbacks. Those guys always tear us up on the ground. Like the breakdown, hopefully it looks just as good Monday night bs the Jags
Man I've never seen that 'touch and go' move. So simple yet so effective. That's a wiley ol vet move right there.
Well, looks like my next hour is booked
You know it!
Great compilation Erik. Definitely hyped me up more for the rest of the season. The young guys clearly have some room/progress to make, but that is a good thing, as they both look promising, and seem to be doing alright so far. I am glad we have such an awesome organization, that is not only getting them prepped, but allowing them to come into a lower pressure environment because of our team's awesome scheming, and players that play so well together. Going to be a fun season loaded with highlights. Thanks for the great breakdowns, as always!
Side Note: James Cook (future HOF'er) is going to be excellent with this team, and people will soon realize his power! Lol
Excellent breakdown!
Thank you!!
Best breakdown of this game from a scheme perspective out there. Thank you.
Great stuff as always, thanks Erik!
Great vid
Thank you!!

Another unbelievable breakdown Eric. See you Wednesday night!
Sunday morning👀👀
Nice job... nice job erik!
Thanks!!
great job. TKS Eric. One thing I haven't seen anyone commenting on but worries me a lot is our kicker. another grotesque mistake
Awesome analysis Erik!
Thank you!
This is great Eric. Go Bills
Appreciate it
Great analysis. Erik! As always…
Thank you
Great breakdown 🎉
Thank you
This defense is nasty this year, love the break downs.
Thank you
Appreciate it
McDermott/Bean get smart guys, when Williams and Spector
got reps last year that really helped. I remember Brian Baldinger
calling the BIlls D an "amoeba" just a buch of guys flowing to the ball.
I was looking at the Bills photographers pictures and I was amazed
at how many pictures had 4,5,6 guys around the ball during a tackle.
the new coordinators have us playing way different than two seasons ago, with very similar roster
Great game
Nobody can see that Binford hit that ball. It didn’t hit the receiver. He tipped it up.
16:58 cam lewis wasnt a woman or child so hill couldn't hit him and had a temper tantrum 😂
Eric, is Elam CB 4? Do you know? I heard he was really improving this camp, but still seems to be stuck at the bottom of the chart.
He’s a boundary CB, so only comes in as a backup there. Lewis is playing Nickel right now and Ingram is that when bills go dime with Lewis shifting to dime backer.
@@Cover1 gotcha.
@Cover1 with Lewis as a dime backer, does he line up more like a 4th LB/CB or a 3rd safety?
I want to see a josh allen hurdle grading video he's had some flops before.
We’re going to have problems vs the ravens. I can see it.. they’re smart fast and physical too. Just bigger
So many players showing promise. Epenesa looks great, although I think his ceiling is lower than Rousseau's, and I'm seeing good things from pretty much every last guy. Daquan looks good, Oliver is on fire again, Von has his edge again, LB's are banged up and probably need some attention, but Dorian looks to be holding his own, 'Sul looks phenomenal, Benford looks awesome, Spector looks serviceable. And what ever happened with Nicholas Morrow, by the way? I was kinda excited to see us sign him. Someone else mentioned us signing Devin White. Not sure what our cap room is, but, he would probably be my ideal candidate ...if, we could fit him under the cap, lol. Devin White in a Bills uniform, ........count me in!
They won’t have anyone left to be fast, smart and physical. Does any other team in the NFl have 3 all pro level defenders hurt or are the Bills the only team that has this happen to them. I’m so tired of the f’ing injuries.
Erik do you play golf? Just curious.
Type of D we need to beat beat KC in the playoffs
Robby Chosen...what a clown.
Martinez Barbara Young Timothy Smith Paul
no Milano, no Johnson, now no Bernard too - can we really cover for that with Williams, Lewis and Spector? surely we gotta bring another Linebacker in - only so many 2nd, 3rd tier guys we can get away with?
All their backup LBs besides Morrow are 8.5-9.5 RAS guys with good to great college tape. Morrow is a solid depth guy who can start. Spector when healthy is most likely an average or above starter. There's no one out there that will improve on that bunch. They have the horses this year.
Our depth is exceptional. The coaches have the players in the right spot, and the guys filling in look great. We're going on a roll baby!
Just watch. Be patient. Our guys got this.
Hi Erik. Next Gen Stats pointed out that the Bills played split-safety coverage in 72% of the dropbacks. Is this "simply" the thing you pointed out going from Cover 2 to Cover 3?
That means cover 2,4,6. Cover 3 is a single high coverage. So no.
Chenchy swoles Josh Allen yrubew
Let's be honest about Ed Oliver. He did nothing last week against the Cardinals (0 tackles, 0 sacks) because he got manhandled. This time he was going against a weak Miami offensive line (3 tackles, 1 sack) . Is this also why he disappeared in the playoff game against KC last season? I don't know. Same with Epenesa.
