Just look at 22:10 there are only 2 England players defending virtually the whole of their right side of the field.
Some positional awareness by the Wallaby backs should have led to an easy run in at this point.

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a performance where I’ve been able to wear my wallaby jersey confidently walking through Bondi. Us die hards are few and far between in Australia these days… but man it felt good to hear people shout “wallabies are back!” from a passing car or the mutual fist pumps with complete strangers as I walked along the beach… we’ve had a tough road the last 20 years, but for the first time in what seems like forever we got to be proud of our team again. Important few years ahead for Australia that’ll make or break the game here. We needed this, let’s hope it’s the start of something special.

The foundations have been definitely building throughout the year. The second Argie test was a setback but even that made things feel like 1996 again when they'd come off a poor RWC in SA, got belted by the All Blacks and started their repair back to 99 RWC glory 🙏

Maybe Schmidt will help with the consistency. That was something he brought to Ireland at the time. Before him they were much more liable to have done absolute shockers and afterwards the losses were more like flat performances but less meltdowns.

    • @ScratchCardWinner123
      @ScratchCardWinner123 22 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

I think this team certainly has the best of Wales- both of them have been pretty unpredictable over the last few years but I think it’s Wallabies’ to lose.
Kind of depends on whether Scotland can control themselves at Murrayfield but I still think it’s winnable
Ireland is still the biggest test but cracks were visible against NZ and with a few runs of momentum I don’t think it’s impossible to topple them
Best of luck from a Scot!

Fantastic video. Thank for you being so enthusiastic about the Wallabies and for cleverly referencing moments from the past - all felt epic. As an Aussie, I've been waiting for a turn around and it's inspiring to see the rest of the world want to see us do well. We've left a bit of a hole in the international game. Hopefully we maintain it. I also have to say the English attack looked awesome at times. The first English try was an absolute thing of beauty - forwards passing at speed and finishing. Suali'i has spent 3 years playing NRL. Nobody from that part of the Rugby world expected anything less - all the things he did on Saturday have been well practised over the past couple of years... And he isn't even the best centre in the game. If England have any cash spare they'd do worse than sign Herbie Farnworth for '26

What a great dissertation. I hope the wallabies can keep the momentum. I feel smarter after watching that!

    schmidt.
great tactics and a masterstroke playing suaali.
this win is potentially the springboard for further wallabies success.
    ps
one more rugby league player to bring in.... to plug up-transform australias weak position...... the halves.
NATHAN CLEARY a generational rugby league player....
a playmaker with all the skills.

Absolutely brilliant analysis! Makes me want to call Rassie and let him know where to look and then I remembered he has won x2 RWC and I think he’s got it covered! 😅BUT this is simply outstanding work! Thank you for your rugby dedication! ❤🎉

The Wallabies will rise again, and you are seeing our resurrection
This is the way we should have been playing all along. No more trying to replicate Kiwi football. We are the Wallabies, and we are back

Didn't someone beat the SA rush defence with a similar 1 out tactic in the build-up to the last world cup?
As an english supporter, i was very jealous of the Australian attacking flare. Best team one, congrats
