After 8 years, KTM has finally updated the Duke 200. This update is major as the Duke 200 is now a completely new motorcycle. It, however, resembles the Duke 250 in terms of styling but for KTM it is a completely new product. The Duke 200 retains the same 200cc engine producing same 25 BHP and 19.3 Nm of torque even after being BS6 compliant. In today's video, we tell you the differences and how it feels to ride the new KTM Duke 200.

How many #MotorBeamers are happy to see the Duke 200 update? What changes should KTM do next?
Only the duke 390 is good, others not so great ! All similar and boring.

not even close.....missing slipper clutch, handlebar weights, LED headlamp, 300mm discs instead of 320....inferior seats, no matte finish paint job, no super moto mode, etc..........and thats not even considering the fact that 250 duke has 5 horses more and 5nm more as well for almost the same kerb weight...all for 40k more....the 250 duke seems a better proposition.....
@@AniketSen it was bro but now the difference is almost 70k, d250 was my dream bike but had to compromise and now I am waiting for my d200, the only thing that put a smile on my face is the raw acceleration unlike that of 250
I bought 390 duke in 2015 for rupees 1.95 laks, i feel lucky now
Will get old shape Duke 390 alot cheaper now these days.. around ₹1.5 to ₹1L ..anyway Ride Safe .. Enjoy it

My first bike was KTM 200 bs4, and I agree. The sound signature is lost. It wasn't a good sound signature, but at least it was a signature. Now it's just sound.

My 8 year old 2012 Duke 200
Bought for Rs. 1,34,000 in 2012
Does 0-100 in 8.5 secs
Does 140 kph top end
Have an engine with generates 25.6 bhp power
Have a mixed mileage of 36 kmpl
I can live with the 10.5 ltr tank and absence of ABS , since it flies with 134 kg wet weight.
Nothing on the new one has anything like it did before.
No thanks but BS6 Duke 200 cannot hold a candle to its original primitive form, its like crocodile infront of the dinosaur.
I love and will keep the dinosaur.
