Hey man. Thought I’d comment here on a few points! Ok, first, the kit is stated to only work with a 1” raise or below. 2” requires a huge amount of supporting work - and we can supply a modified kit to work with this, but it’s only really for if you’ve got a largely modified body (large arch tubs etc, my own car has this, it’s not easy work). The kit will not work correctly with a 2” raise, loads of things will be off/in the wrong place. Your stock gearbox cradle is also slightly bent, if you look at the bottom edge of it. That explains why it doesn’t line up with the new (our one) one like you’d expect. As with fitting up the kit, the x-bar needs to be fitted loosely in place before the top mount halves are tightened down - as it states in the instructions, otherwise you’ll have issues lining everything up perfectly. Also, the stiffener bars are bolted to the wrong side of the upper mount, so may be close to the axle boot. Email us please if you have any more concerns! Always do our best to keep people running our gear happy.
Thank you for bringing me up!! Yeah I would not be happy either brother! Someones jig is off! You’re camera is fine!! Wow lots of work involved! I applaud you! 👏 215s look good! Great video you did a good job!
You're very welcome, thank you for putting me on your page! Yep luckily it wasn't too expensive so I didn't mind cutting it haha. Thanks Slade I appreciate it!
Great video. Love the channel. Camera zooming in and out must've just been on your phone screen. Looks great on here. Thanks for taking the time to document the process.
Looks good dude! Funny how bolt on kits are never just as simple as bolt on… seems like they always need a tweak or two considering not everyone’s car is the exact same. As for bump stops, couldn’t you just add a sliver of plate and tack it to the existing upper stop? That way the spring plate still comes in contact like it’s designed to? Guess it wouldn’t be a bump stop but more of a hard stop to ensure the bracket doesn’t hit the axle tube.
Thanks Gary! Yeah that's the truth there's always something. Hey now thats a great idea! I think I'll do that for an absolute drop/hard stop, that'll keep the axle from tapping the upper bracket. I'll still incorporate a rubber bump stop somewhere, I'd like to have a little cush just incase something breaks
Nice work - i was watching ur videos on the S-10. I thought ur channel sounded familiar. Been awhile since ive done a video. Last couple years been extremely busy plus moved out of state. Hoping to get back to it all very soon. Keep up the good work !!!
Thank you sir I appreciate you dropping by:) life sure can get busy and moving is always a big chore especially if you like to accumulate things haha. I'm definitely not looking forward to moving 😕
Super smooth! I'm so glad I went with air years ago, it's more complex but well worth it! I bought a pro street freeway flyer from Wright gearbox out of your neck of the woods. It has a 4.11 r/p, .82 4th and welded 3/4 hubs
Yeah that sucked and the "aftermarket" mounts were to blame... no mount or part should be in a bind. I'm not to thrilled with how the bags are sitting too but when ya don't build it yourself that's what ya get. Limebug's cantilever setup is looking pretty good right now 😄
You're a million steps ahead of me you didn't skip one step in making a pristine custom machine
It's coming along, one day it will get all torn down and repainted:)

Thanks Max I'll keep that in mind with the xbar and stiffener bars next time I work on it
Welcome back bro thanks for the shout.
Thank you for the support!

How smooth is it with air ride? What transaxle did you get for your stroker setup?

@V8N8T I thought you had something like that to handle all the power you're putting down
That bracket is way off for even free I'd be a bit upset

@@V8N8T 😆😆😆
Not perfect yet but looking pretty tidy.
Very tidy:)
