My storm is gracefully handling our son who has a diagnosis of ADHD and ODD. We adopted at birth and have so enjoyed being his parents. We need Jesus healing hand to touch his 8 year old soul, heart and mind. His behavior is Interfering with school and maintaining friendships.
This is common for adopted children, even from birth. It's trauma, the newborn knows he has been taken from his mother. Maybe not his conscious mind but it's in his subconscious. His first experience was traumatic. Try EMDR therapy. It moves trauma from the reactionary part of the brain to non reactionary. It calms the central nervous system. It's good for ADHD as well.

Please pray for my family. Me and my husband are separated and in counseling. He was unemployed for a while and we're so behind on everything I am trying to get food stamps to help. I'm pregnant and due in February but theres not enough money to pay for homebirth and we have no insurance. We were trying to add on to our two bedroom house before we became separated. At this point I will have three children in our tiny 630 sq ft home. And my alternator in my car went out and I cant drive anywhere until its replaced and its 300$. But most of all please pray for my two brothers. They are completely lost and dont believe in God. Above all things this is the most important prayer need. Please join me in praying for them.

I'm in the middle of the biggest storm of my life. I've been to about a dozen doctors this year, and my condition is still undiagnosed. I have finger clubbing and infiltrates in my lung. I can no longer function... struggling with my faith... full of doubt. It's a daily cycle of fear and torment. I need to feel the presence of the Lord, the mercy of the great "I am"...

John 15:7 You have to go directly to God(The Father) in prayer - and the best place to begin is by seeking His forgiveness for your sins, and also for doubting Him. He is quick to forgive us! We often feel that way at times also. Fight the urge to give in to your feelings hum a hymn or read scripture takes your mind off fear and anxious feelings.

Yes Ive felt like I'm in the boat in a storm alone at times. But the interesting thing about God is that even in any situation like that, God still requires us to be, beings of choice. God doesn't seem to become involved until we ask and even then, we have to show Him that we really want His involvement. It's definitely our choice. We just have to remember to ask. I'm in the middle of the biggest storm of my life. I've been to about a dozen doctors this year, and my condition is still undiagnosed. I have finger clubbing and infiltrates in my lung. I can no longer function... struggling with my faith... full of doubt. It's a daily cycle of fear and torment. I need to feel the presence of the Lord, the mercy of the great "I am"...

Yes Ive felt like I'm in the boat in a storm alone at times. But the interesting thing about God is that even in any situation like that, God still requires us to be, beings of choice. God doesn't seem to become involved until we ask and even then, we have to show Him that we really want His involvement. It's definitely our choice. We just have to remember to ask. I am going through the storm of marriage seperation... please help me pray for my spouses salvation, our reconciliation, and that this separation will not end in divorce! Max, I’m praying for restoration of my health and relationships with children and family. Things cropped up I didn’t realize. I’ve had trauma in my life and need healing from that and to know for myself in a deeper way the love of the Heavenly Father for me. I so appreciate your prayers! I’ve done the best I could as a mother and wife, and apparently did some failing. I love my children so much and the Lord. I have felt distant from the Lord. Please pray for me.
