OMG! Happy dance! So exciting to see an explore from my favourite urbexes! And still in fine professional RnK form! I have missed you guys so much! However, hardly a week goes by where I don't re watch one of your videos! I can honestly say that I have rewatched your videos more than anything else, ever! Thanks so much for making my day!
Thanks for sharing! What a cool find. Love that RJ has a Brio Train Set, they really are so much fun in the early years. 14:28-14:30 Afghan!! It was such a staple on every bed when I was growing up. I recall everyone having to have one. LOL. The furniture was truly antique, that first one you shot was really interesting, wonder what the basin would have looked like. The trees have got to be ancient too, the height and how far out they stretch with multiple limbs are amazing. Too bad the house was left to rot, I bet it could be a great property if the trees come with it!
wow its so cooool to see ya back rob i think i remember this house trying to think who explored it it was beautiful in its time good upload hugs to kristy and your little angel
What a Gem of a find!! A lot of old antique furniture, dishes, glassware, and decor. The porch and grounds were very nice as well. You Always give us the BEST detailed explore checking out every nook and cranny! Really Really Luved this one! Thanks for taking us along!💯💥💯💥❣
Hey dear Robb, RnK, now that was such an enjoyable video! Actually a legit classic Urbex video like many years before, when I started watching your urbex adventures, sometimes alone but also together with Josh and his pals. This was a once really beautiful house. In some still intact rooms there were nice antiques and beautiful furniture visible! It is such a pity, the decay makes this location eventually fall into total disrepair. - Very cool explore, which I enjoyed watching! Wishing you and your family all the best, peace and kindest blessings. Stay safe and kindest regards from Switzerland.
Hey Rob, you have made my Friday! Once again, you’ve done a great job on this video. I love this old farm house. The music and camera shots were excellent. You continue to make top notch and professional videos!
The reason the bathrooms were built off the side of the porch was because when the farmers came in from the fields in the evening they had to wash up for supper and so they didn't track dirt and mud therough the house they'd take off their shoes at the back door, go inside the bathroom and either shower or wash up and change into their evening clothes. My Grandparents were Tabacco farmers and grew all sorts of produce, nuts and berries and so their bathroom was located on the main floor right off of the kitchen. If we needed to use the bathroom we had to go through the kitchen to get to it or from the back porch. No shoes or dirty clothes were allowed in Grandma's clean house. Southern women pride themselves on a well kept home. The Master bedrooms were also located on the bottom floor as well. Usually right off of the bathroom opposite the Diningroom or livingroom. I would say that house qualifies as a Mansion. Anything built with more than 6000 sq. feet is classified as a mansion. That house has at least that much space with the formal livingroom, diningroom, kitchen, parlor, 1st floor bedroom and the second story bedrooms. This place is more than likely a family owned estate and is still in the family. It looks as if it's been abandoned at least 20+ years given the furnishings and amount of decay. I'm just guessing here, but the grandparents may have lived there until their deaths leaving the house and all it's contents to their children who may have stayed in it for a while or rented out the house until it needed far more repairs than they had money to invest in. Now it's just a tax write off because farmers can use these old houses as a building on the existing property ajacent to their farmlands. My Aunts and Uncles kept my grandparents house upkept for several decades before liquidating the assests and selling off the house and land. It's now used as a hunting lodge by the new owners and they have kept up the house and property very well. The house was built in 1912 by my Grandfather 2 years before he and my Grandmother were married. The house is now 112 years old. That house you toured looks about the same age.
@@RnKAllDay I appreciate that... I grew up half my life on farm in Virginia and all of my Mothers side of the family were all farmers. They grew Tabacco for Reynolds Tabacco for many a year. I just love it when people go and explore these old houses. They hold a lot of memories inside those walls. The families who once lived, worked and played together on that land is just facinating to me. If you ever need me to help you out identifying things and their uses when it comes to southern living I'd have no problem with that. Knowledge is power when it comes to these places. History should be perserved. And that house there has a whole lot of history I'm sure. You take care and it's real nice to see you exploring like this again. I have always enjoyed you and your wifes adventures and videos. It must be as much fun as it is interesting. God bless your little family.
Glad to see you’re back I’ve missed your content. You were the best TH-camr and probably the first one that I signed up as a member for this was a great fine for your comeback beautiful house.
For future reference so you understand there is a difference between Antique and Vintage... Vintage refers to an item, (furnishings, Jewelry, artwork and other brickabrack) that is 50 to 100 years old. Antiques are more than 100 years old. Just an FYI in case you are in a older home with Antiques everywhere. The bedroom with the old vanity has mostly antiques in it. The bedroom furniture alone is most likely worth several thousand dollars to people who collect antique furniture. It's all in great shape.
Hello Rob well done amazing video thank you & what a wonderful explore such a beautiful house and so are you back full time now and keep up the good work Rob
Good afternoon RnK happy Friday and enjoy the weekend cool yall found a plantation with alot of history thank God I wasn't born in that century I couldn't be a slave there's no way.
Nice find . 1959 the year I was born. I like the bathroom rite off the porch. it keeps people out of the house. These old houses that have no closets. Very very old.
I can see that you have an appreciation for the old style houses and the furniture and it's good That's when furniture was made the last not just the garbage that we get now if you want nice furniture you have to pay thousands upon thousands of dollars for good furniture.
it's weird the whole house still has stuff in it, expect the bathroom and kitchen.. great vid, i always wonder what happened to leave a house frozen in time..
You shared my thoughts exactly. They must have stripped it and sold it or maybe an upcoming remodel was abandoned with this home. Thanks for watching Kelly, hope you saw your shoot out at the end of the video!!!
There never was meant to be a wash basin on that vanity. It's simply low so that user can scoot up to the mirror. Basins are only used on the taller stands or cabinets. FYI: An item must be 100 yrs or older to be labeled aN ANTIQUE. Otherwise it's vintage if 10-20 yrs or just old. That wasn't a stool...it's a more modern children's bench. A stool is made for 1 person & a bench for multiple people..
In the 1800's it was a lovely house. Also the furniture is made to top quality. Nice to see, especially the old furnitur. What a story this house could tell. Houses do have emotions.💗💗💗💗
Nice explore. It’s a shame to see this house just sit there and rot. I seen this house on another channel too. The bathroom adjacent to the porch had animals living in it and made a mess. That explorer closed it up to keep the animals out. Animal can sure cause damage to a place.
Abandoned house but it looks the grounds are kept up, the grass is mowed.. Wonder what happened, elderly folks died and no offspring wanted it? So sad to see a much loved place in its time falling apart now.
Most likely stuck in probate .The owner probably had no will .So sad such a beautiful house.Inheriting tax is a b;.,; ! The vanity had chamber pot .You poop pee in it .The stool was to shine or tie your shoes .
Agree, however it could've been done by previous urban explorers. RnK ain't like that. I've seen abandoned buildings prior to the staging done by more well known urban explorers channels, that go on and say, "we're the first to explore" .

Good to see you ! Great explore and sure hope to see more!!
Time capsule for sure, loved the furniture still there. The photos and newspapers are always interesting to see. Great find again Rob.
The vanity which once contained a chamber pot dates back the 1800 .
Great Video Mate - Shared/Scheduled.
Rob, that intro was fire!!! That place had some nice furniture, at one point.
Appreciate it 🙏🏼
Great video! Glad to see you're filming again!
Loved hearing "what is good" again! Great explore, beautiful house
Great explore bro RnK and great to see you back at it again, hope you and your Family are doing well

I like that sepia intro. Looks more like a farm house. Sad to see these older homes in disrepair, hopefully some family member brings it back to life.

I was just thinking about you guys and low and behold, here you are! 😎
Hell yeah great to see you doing a explore
Great video as always! It's amazing how that upstairs bedroom with the twin beds looks straight and barely touched.
Wow! Fantastic explore. We are so happy to see you out there again. Welcome back.
That grass and yard are definitely getting done regularly.

I like that these old places in the south don't get vandalized . In the north it be trashed ,tagged and burnt to the ground.
This is very cool 😎 Ron , definitely a treat to take us all with , I bet that has a lot of history in that home ..Be safe Thank you Robb Kristy an RJ
Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome video.
Take care

I love the Fireplaces❤
Good work!
Hey RnK great explore ❤
That organ looks like the organ we have in our house that is my dad's.
Now going to compare the two lol
It still blows my mind that people abandon homes and they end up like this. How does it happen. So interesting.
it's weird the whole house still has stuff in it, expect the bathroom and kitchen.. great vid, i always wonder what happened to leave a house frozen in time..
You shared my thoughts exactly. They must have stripped it and sold it or maybe an upcoming remodel was abandoned with this home. Thanks for watching Kelly, hope you saw your shoot out at the end of the video!!!

Nobody works the camera like you do Rob!!!💯🫡
It does make you wonder why it was abandoned! I do wonder if maybe it was abandoned after the tree fell through the roof
I jave so many questions
about fucking time...Rob.....lol
❤
When last were people's living there😅
No idea, couldn’t find anything on them
Looks like another Hammond organ. 9 times out of 10 it still works. Those things were built like tanks and its hard to kill them
Where is this at?
I really like that you do not give the location of these places.
