    I feel like the double decker buses are rarely worth it, only if you are there for a day or two. The metro and regular buses are much cheaper. You can easily have a 30-40 dollar day if you go to a museum like the Louvre or the Centre Pompidou, you can spend all day in there.

    • @princeflurry
      @princeflurry ปีที่แล้ว

      In your opinion do you think the Louvre is worth visiting?

    • @Caspitein
      @Caspitein ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@princeflurry Yeah, 100%. So many famous works to see there, you can spend an entire day in there and still not see everything. Avoid spending time at the Mona Lisa though, you can get a good enough view from the side :)

    • @princeflurry
      @princeflurry ปีที่แล้ว

      @Caspitein You said I could spend the entire day there and still not see everything. Is that because it's very busy or because it's a very big place?

    • @Caspitein
      @Caspitein ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@princeflurry Mainly because it's so big. It can be crowdy, but that's mainly at the famous artworks like Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo and Liberty Leading the People. It's definitely worth it to make the Louvre an (almost) all-day activity.

    As a Lebanese who grew up studying french and reading a lot of french books, I was overcome with emotion walking the streets of Paris :) and now still, watching this video.
    4:29 Yes, Paris has a lot going for her, Hollywood, sex symbol, good weather, cafés, cuisine, fashion, awesome architecture from a lot of historical periods, gardens, city of love, romantic street lights (long before electricity), but also a huge collection of fine arts, a lot of it of international fame. My favorite museum is The Musée d'Orsay, I like impressionist and post impressionist art more than renaissance stuff.
    For me personally though, Paris also represents Freedom, and Freedom of expression. Not perfect (no country is), but there is a reason why a lots of writers and artists came to "share their ideas" in Paris over the centuries.

Not all countries in Europe use it and not all countries in the EU use it. For example, Sweden, Poland, Czechia and Hungary are part of the EU, but not in the Eurozone.
