SUPER glad I checked out your video. Good tip on the ventilated oil cap. Already replaced a blown rear seal and the engine burns a quart every 400 miles. It's always burned oil.
this is not hard to do i own a 2015 its so easy and he did not replace the o ring on the plastic holder. The filter HAS to be snaped in or you will have problems. Get the right tools to do any jobs. DO NOT REV YOUR ENGINE AT 2000 RPM. You can cause problems internally doing it just let it run and check for any leaks then turn off let set for about 30 seconds, then check your oil make sure its full, then start the car again and check for any drips, then reset your oil . That is the right way to do it.
I have this car. My car shakes when it comes to a stop on 0, paid 3.4k and it still shakes when it comes to a stop. Do you think it’s strictly an oil issue
Check your oil level on the dipstick before you do anything. If its not full, that's most likely your problem. If it IS full, then that sounds like it could be your VVT solenoids acting up. There will be 2, and they are pretty cheap and easy to replace as they are pretty much right on top of the engine. Ive never done them, but ive seen that changing both only takes around a half hour to an hour to do. If the oil is not full, fill it, and now check it at least once every week and keep it at the fill line best you can.

Thank you. Thats why I made these videos. Trying to get more and more people to avoid these things and help those who already have them.

I’ve never done my oil change before on my 15 equinox, what tools should I ask a hardware worker when I go look?
