I just wonder how Huskies are so underrated motorcycles. They are simply the best bike you can have under your ass. Best design, forward 100 years in mechanics, flexibility, crazy innovation, braking market rules. And really the most enjoyable bike to drive, every other should be a faaaaar second. So, I should understand for these reasons they are quite misunderstood and unappreciated by the dumb mass of average, common bikers. Crazy world. Fortunately these bikes exist for people who knows the difference

EG The 449 is the best enduro bike I ever tried, even it had some mechanical reliability issues (italian) but the project very far away. It was an underrated bike, unliked by most riders but it had such extraordinary ideas on (it was BMW + italian concept too). For example the co-axial pinion.. Not fast to maintain but gives you FULL traction in ALL conditions. Bah

I remember back in the '70s when I was a teenager, I wanted a "Husky" 500 dirt bike so bad. My dad said I would kill myself, so I never got one. But man... what a ride!
you should get that husky 500, life's too short to worry about accidental suicides. i went from a 125 honda that ran poorly to a ktm 690 enduro 21, i have never had so much fun riding before😁.
Hello Husqvarna, I've read in the online forums that some of the Husqvarna 701s have had some issues: master cylinder failures, clutch failures and the stock pipe burning the left rear turn signal are just some of the recurring problems. Supposedly this has been going on for years. Is Husqvarna going to fix those issues for the 2023 models? Also, is it possible that the 2023 Husqvarna 701 models get a tachometer and a fuel gauge? In my opinion, a high performance motorcycle like the 701s (supermoto and enduro) need them.

aluisious maybe 6kg lighter? :P I think the main issue is the weight of the engine and of the frame. So it is not as agile as racing motards but this is more reliable and is very very beatifull :)
It's not 20kg but it helps, and both parts are high on the bike. But yeah, steel frame. It'll still handle beautifully on mountain roads I'm sure, better than a sport bike on the really twisty bits.
After my complete disappointment with the KTM 690 smc r, I think I'll give this a miss. I don't know why they haven't got a proper street legal supermoto across either KTM or Husqvarna now they're combined

+racing duke No, this and the 690 are street bikes. They're not light weight high powered MX bikes that have been converted.

+Eero Vuori FS570 recomended even more. A little less power than the 650 but handles 10x better and is a lot smoother.
