I met him when I was younger when he worked on Homocide (I'm from Baltimore) Ill never forget that smile and him patting me on the head as my Dad fan boy'd over him. My Dad loved that show and him. It was the reason he watched B99 also.

@@andreslugo9947it’s the alias Rosa uses at her apartment building. The cast is there to use her safe house/panic room thing and are gobsmacked when her neighbors describe Emily Goldfinch as always smiling (I think…this is from memory😅)

Love the ending with charles being the cool guy. We've seen it a lot throughout the series and it just felt right he matured that way with what has happened

My favorite moment with them was when Jake told them the moment he knew he wanted to marry her and it was just her being annoyed about a crossword puzzle. That's true love right there. It's the little things and I love that they chose to do it like that.
Jake and Amy getting married is one of the few successful examples of two TV characters getting romanticly invovled. It felt like the natural and obvious progression of the story and of those characters.
Leave it to terry crews to be just as big of a fan of the show he is on in real life as the rest of us. He actually cherishes and values how lucky he is to have the job he has.
There's another video where Chelsea, who plays Gina, describes herself as the luckiest girl in the world for being able to be a part of the show. Terry isn't alone in stanning the show in the cast.

One of the reasons I love this show is that there’s not much of twists to Jake and Amy relationship. I love Friends but twists with Ross and Rachel relationship is too much for me sometimes 😂
Exactly! I mean, after they start dating it develops as a kinda normal, healthy relationship. There are hardships but they overcome them together and, most importantly, their personal growth doesn't stop once they get together, as it happens in many other series. That way the relationship feels more like part of their life paths and not the ultimate destination... Watching a couple so well written for that many seasons makes my heart warm

My favourite series and I get why it ended, and they did it well.

A lot of actors when out of character are often strange, entitled, arrogant etc but all these people seem like really decent nice people. They all come across as humble and even shy when themselves. Something that is very rare in every day life let alone Hollywood. You can see why the show is loved so much! I could be wrong but that just the impression I get.
andre is truly a legend. The time he took to make sure he was representing the character of Holt and the LGBTQ community well shows how dedicated he is. may he rest in peace.
I really appreciate Andre take on how characters stories should be told. It says a lot about his nature. I appreciate that. Holt is such an important, powerful, hilarious, interesting, touching, unique character. And my personal favorite relationship was for sure Holt&Kevin, I mean, come on... They compliment each other so well, and the relationship is actually a story worth to be told. I love that about them ♥

I love how Holts actor put it in words that he didn’t want to have homosexuality being diminished by a Charakter even though it’s supposed to be a funny series. And they have manages to accomplish that perfectly.
I think Andre Braugher is right; I like Brooklyn 99 inpart because it feels like there isn't that mich artificial drama. While sometimes goofy, the relationships betwen characters ultimately feel aithentic, stable and believable

I feel just like Terry about Amy and Jake's wedding, I've been watching the series for so long and they are such cozy and familiar characters that it feels like I've known them for sometime - like friends. And to see their relationship so mature and supportive, it's sooo sweet that their wedding is like the icing in the cake.
I've re-watched B-99 5 times already
it's really entertaining and amazing to watch
My favourite part would be when Jake proposed to Amy at the Halloween heist ❤️

After watching Andre Brauer in Glory and Homicide, I never thought he could be so hilarious. His comic timing is perfect.
He's an incredibly brilliant actor and his role as Captain Holt is one of the best characters ever on TV sitcom imho, but everyone on B99 was amazing.
He was so good in Homicide - I loved that show. He played a totally different character in Men of a Certain Age which was good as well.
He was also in a episode of the Law and order UVE
