i love Wargames Atlantic for many things - the goblins wouldnt be on the top of my list, but do really like them - you're right, i thought about using some in a classic tolkien goblin style for Middle Earth... haven't gotten to it yet
7:11 I made a goblin with the katar dagger in one hand, and the pistol hand from the Les Grognards set. The grognard arm has a sleeve, but the shoulder pad covers up the transition all right and asymmetry is more than fine for goblins :)
I've never hated anything I've bought from Wargames Atlantic. My only beef with any of their kits has been the lack of variety of bodies- hard to not have that linedancing troupe look.
I prefer these to the Oathmark Goblins but the Oathmark Goblin WolfRiders are a nice kit. These goblins do fit on horses as long as the horses aren't too big. I am looking forward to the Wargames Atlantic Horses when available.
These are a great kit, when building them I wanted to get the average height up a bit (for personal taste) so I plundered some WGA Irish I had floating around for bodies and ended up with a nice Ralph Bakshi lotr orc look
They need more skinny bare arms with guns to scifi them up. I wonder if the lizard arms with the submachine guns would work? Guess I'll have to go dig through the bits again...
I like those much better than the Oathmark, which when assembled looked somewhere between orc and goblin. Definitely the look more 'Goblin-ee'? Always watch with the morning's coffee thanks High Lord!
I love the bits in this kit, don't like how the arms stick to the supplied bodies however. I've just used them to kitbash with oathmark goblins and GW orcs.
Yeah, I'm going to have to dig up some of the Oathmark ones. They seem to have vanished like the bulk of these guys- I don't know where I put them! Where are all the archer bits for example?
2:10 ooo! so that's the spider saddle! I got just a sprue, not a box set, so I wasn't aware that they were meant to fit with the giant spiders. Cool!

I love the versatility of their kits. I’m definitely thinking of picking up these gobos.

Yeah I also had the plan to use the horses for goblins

Yeah, these veer more into weedy goblin territory than the Oathmark ones, I agree.
I always thought of the oarthmark ones to be more like hobgoblins. Especially since you have such easy access to wolf riders
They look good. I like all the gear options.
They look pretty cool and could be great to kitbash for Sci fi setting too I bet
It’s about damn time!
IMHO great as generic goblins for tabletop RPG such as D&D or Pathfinder.
Could you mix the guns from the lizard sprue or the head from goblins to lizard body's to make space goblins?
I'd imagine so. I've mixed both of those with the Germans and Aztecs with reasonably decent results!

I definitely found it helpful to sand the ends of the arms where they connect to the torso for a flatter connection
Audio was kinda all over on this one. Other than that, great comparison on the Goblins!
Would these mix with GW LOT goblins? Very interesting report as usual 👍☺
How would the Aztec arms work on these guys? Might be an interesting look.
Good question! I'll have to go find out as I get around to finishing the video on the Aztecs...
i like these guys
When the new alien bug kit comes out can someone please let us know if the goblins fit on any of those?
