this is appalling the stance the ministry of foreign affairs is taking. Is it more important to protect our citizens or is it more important to protect the diplomat and the PRC? The analysis and decisions of this government are simply absurd. MPP Chong's question is absolutely accurate. What interest or consequence- economic, political, diplomatic could possibly be more important than the safety of a Canadian citizen and the integrity of Canada's political system? If a Liberal Cabinet Minister or Justin Trudeau had been threatened, you would have seen an immediate expulsion.
Joly is incompitant and should be removed. She is putting the safety of Canadians and many others by inaction. Allowing a bully to continue bullying others due to your being afraid of retaliation is unacceptable
