I think Seungmin is so underrated as a dancer
YES! He may not show out like hyinjin or felix and leeknow BUT he is smooth and light with his dance style!
@@Alinaverse Absolutely he is!!! I hate to admit my eye isn't naturally drawn to him in group settings but getting to see him dance solo had my jaw DROPPING 🤯

Around S-Class their schedule was PACKED. They themselves later said they were real hyped for that release but because of no time to rest, constant flights, jet lags and all, it all kinda fell flat. Han and Lix were, I believe both having some health problems there, Lix with his disc and Han overall not feeling the best 😢
I remember thinking they looked so tired for this relay and some other things, but then I recall there was a fanmeeting that suddenly seemed to pour energy into them, and Hyunjin, I think, later saying something about it reminding him why they love what they do. After that, things seemed to fall back into place with them. I might have my timeline mixed up, I dunno.
@@demiidle9627 Ahh that's so sad 😩 How exhausting and stressful to not even be able to enjoy their hard work. I remember seeing a lot of promo for 5-Star and thinking Han looked like he was really struggling mentally a lot, which hurt my damn heart. And hearing about poor Felix too... But hopefully they get to fully enjoy this comeback now because they deserve it!! 🫶

@@lifeofmorganpHan was definitely struggling with something during this time and also Chris was too bc it was right when the Chan's Room drama went down. If you go back and watch the content from that time you will constantly see him and Han engaging very little and actually looking very down almost all of the time. There was a SKZ Talker from that time where I don't think Chris said one word in the whole thing.

Oh my gosh YES I was waiting for the day you reacted to relays!!! These are lightly coordinated for specific parts, but you know our boys prefer improve and chaos for everything lolll Also the boys were extremely worn out and exhausted most of 5-Star era and it kinda continued into Rockstar as well, which was so sad to see... but after their recent long break they're so full of energy and genuinely so happy right now which makes me even more excited for this comeback!!! Just a little over a week y'all!!!

And that's the sense I was getting for 5-STAR for sure. Very sad to see but I am so happy they're excited and energetic for ATE, after the crazy schedules and exhaustion of the last two comebacks they certainly deserve it more than ever!!!! And AHHHH LESS THAN A WEEK LEFT, I am so excited but also mentally not ready 🙈🤣🙈🤣
I found out recently Changbin ALSO has a black belt in taekwondo along with Minho and Felix. So like, yeah, he did a lot of flips and kicks in their early days haha.
Also I swear Minho is the only one who looks basically exactly the same! As you said, vampire!
Also, also, I am glad you did S-Class just for Changbin covering Hyunjin's dance solo. But I do agree that they were holistically going through the motions.

Actually Changbin was a dancer at first haha!! He was very popular as a dancer in his school and even his first fancam was made by his classmate during his school performance

Seungmin is a weird one. On normal stages he doesn't like to show off much and when it's live he dances to conserve his energy for his singing, he often has hard vocal parts after all. People who only ever watch such content think his dancing is not that good. But he was actually a rare exception of being in a dance cub during high school and posting dance covers with his club members. Once he does not worry about saving energy for singing etc, he goes OFF. He is actually a really good dancer.
@@Akkarri Ahhh I absolutely LOVE that and it makes total sense he would always conserve his energy for singing- it was so cool to get to see him go all-out 😍
I've seen this happen a few times with main singers in kpop, it's the same for jongho from ateez. many fans who haven't seen their earlier content where they did more only dancing performances have no idea he's a greatt dancer who has a whole other persona when he's only got one thing to put his energy into. seungmin is similar, he's quite a good dancer with good presence but it's just not always fully on display
No I agree, something about S-Class relay dance was lower energy or just something was missing. They seemed really tired at this point.
For me personally, I felt that Han seemed a bit less energetic in the 5 star era...maybe he was extra worn out, maybe something else entirely...either way, I wanted to give him the biggest hug
All the boys were exhausted during 5-Star era and they seemed happier but still very tired through Rockstar as well... watching content from 5-Star specifically was really hard for me, they were so tired and every video just made me sad... but they're so lively and excited right now and I'm loving it!!!

It was my first SKZ comeback and it hurt so much to see Han being so quiet in interviews/not smiling in performances/ and looking generally disheartened. He was definitely going through something. But in comparison now it looks like he's doing so much better and I'm so glad 💗
@@gabriellecarroll5085 Oh my gosh Gabrielle, me too! It's hard to describe how difficult it was to see them like that and watch some of the promo content. Han specifically for me during 5-Star just broke my heart, I wanted so badly for them all to be happy. But sometimes that's life and I'm so SO excited about their energy and how happy they look for this comeback next week!!! I truly hope they get to enjoy it too the max ⚡💞🥠❤️
49:20 during S-Class era some boys were visibly tired, but I feel like the low energy is especially noticible since Han wasn't feeling well :/
imo, usually him and Changbin bring dynamic to Skz on stage and variety shows, so when they're "not in the mood' the level of energy is not as high

Thunderous is hyunjin's song through and through, the way he PERFORMED that choreo, no one else could have done it, thats why he has so many million views fancams from that era, same as backdoor, just perfection

I need a dance class taught by Hyunjin and San from Ateez because neither knew how to dance when they went to their companies and they both can now dance effortlessly. If anyone could teach me how to dance (because I have very little coordination), it would be the two of them.
