Great dancing, but I suggest changing the title to remove "basic" from it. Basic generally implies syllabus figures, which make up little of this video.

So is the ladies head always supposed to be that far away? Like am I supposed to do that in syllabus, also are our hips always supposed to be like locked together?🤨

Hi Rae, the head position can vary depending on your skill level and style but we believe that a bigger shape looks great 👍🏼 If you are just getting started and still dancing syllabus figures you may want to work on your fundamentals and technique before trying to dance with really dynamic shapes 🙂

Hi there! Sure of course you can 🙂 Whatever name you use is entirely up to you. Generally the names of the figures do have some deeper meaning that relates to the figure which can help you to remember the principles and technique. However, if using another name is easier for you then go for it! Hope that helps 🙂
