Aliex hope you also upload the isle flywater. Interesting to see which one is a better product . Inflatables are the only option for people with limited space like me .
@AliexFolgueira Yup ,I hear ya. ,the NPE ( National Plastic Expo) happens in the same building in Orlando every 3 years. I missed it again. Molded automotive plastics is my profession. Now I fish out of a piece of plastic 😆
I hope this helps! The Flywater is a kayak that you can easily motorize, paddle, store, and transport. I'd recommend a motor up to 3HP. They say it can handle 5HP, but I think it'll be like a bathtub at that point. (I'll try it with a 6HP 2-stroke though, haha). Think of the Fastcat12 as a boat that you can transport in your truck without a bed extender. You can power it with a 6HP motor and go 10-14 MPH, depending on the load. But it *is* a boat. Like the Flywater, you might not even have to register it-no one will ask, lol. But with the Fastcat12, you'll get attention! You'll need wheels to transport it, for sure, even deflated. The Flywater, on the other hand, you can just pick up and move in its wheeled bag. To summarize: * **Flywater:** A high-end, ultra-portable kayak. Fast and stable. * **Fastcat12:** A bigger boat that you can still use as a kayak. Faster, heavier, more stable, and with more options. Now, the NS130, TBnation Lite Air Skiff, and the Kaboats are something else-micro skiffs, basically. You can power them with up to a 6HP motor or more. They're very stable, very fast, and highly customizable. If you want a bigger boat than the Flywater but don't want a catamaran like the Fastcat12, the NS130 or Lite Air Skiff could be the answer. They offer a good middle ground. If you're really looking to buy a Flywater, limited quantities will be released next week. I will have a video on it once that's confirmed.
@@AliexFolgueira wow thanks so much for that detailed reply. Lots to think about ! I think I’ll forget the flywater as nice as it is and look at the Air skiff and ns130 . Boats are addictive!! lol
After adding accessories and just the motor and batteries alone, it is more than the skiff itself. And it is still lacking storage. The only advantage I see over a kayak is the faster speed, but at what cost?
Plenty of room for whichever storage options you prefer! Far more opportunity to customize your storage options than with a traditional kayak. With the motor and battery setup shown here, you're right around $4k retail for the entire package!
Problem with 13', here in Japan you would need to get a boat license. :( I have been telling Sea Eagle to make a 11'-10' one but, no go. Relay this to Newport if you see them again-thanks!
Hi Aliex, I've been trying to wait for the Isle skiff to come out, but every time I call them It seems further away and now they say they are only releasing 100 and then full production in the spring. I've been looking at the NS130 for tandem fishing with my wife. Do you think they are pretty equal? We live in Oceanside CA and take our Hobie Oasis out thru the harbor. It does pretty good but we definitely get water over the bow. How do you think this would handle the waves and chop?
My mom and stepdad took the Isle Flywater out, they love it as a tandem with the Newport 3HP motor - they had a blast! They can't stop talking about it lol. The NS is a bit longer and can take a second seat as a tandem, but I don't see them listing the accessories yet. They aren't exactly the same thing. The NS130 is more like a skiff, with a built-in transom and tracks. For me, the Isle is more like a kayak, say a solo/ tandem kayak that can take a 3HP motor and comes with 2 seats from the factory. It will be easier to manage and transport. With the NS130, you might want to trailer it if you put a 6HP on it, but it is available now!
Alex, which boat is this? I searched on Newport Vessels website for NS130. None of the boats have that model #. Is NS130 new and not yet on the website? I see videos and Instagrams that say NS130.
@@AliexFolgueira On the Newport Vessels website I do not see any of the boats with a model number like that. The models are: Newport, Catalina, Del Mar, and Dana. Is it a new model that is not yet on the website? I see many TH-cam videos and Instagrams when I Google NS130.

Alex, I want to thank you for your hard work Icast coverage. You and Chad Hoover are probably the only out of state kayakers I follow.
thanks brother, I got Chad in another video we filmed today, Tomorrow is the last day, kinda sad

That's a cool boat hopefully they come out with a smaller version for us small lake and pond guys
Will the Newport Bow mount plate kit can fit other brand inflatable boats?
I’m stuck between this one, the SeaEagle FastCat or the Flywater. Great vids as always.
I hope this helps!

I’m torn between this and the ISLE FlyWater I would like the option on the NS 130 for adjustable seat heights 😎🍻
Thanks for the review - so the inflatable - plus motor and bow mount mount trolling motor we are talking over 4k correct 💵💵💵
yeah motor battery combo say $2000, boat? i think it was $2000 so total $4,000? missing the bow motor and battery so autoboat and battery $1000 more?

A 10 would be a nice add on
@AliexFolgueira bro, really? It's a dinghy...not new and I the price is way more than a dinghy. Shilling is what your doing.

What horse power can it handle? 🤔🤔🤔
The NS130 is 10hp rated!

creo que $1999
How’s it handle oyster beds?
Let's find out
@@AliexFolgueira yes! Cuz thats all that’s around here on the Texas coast lol.

@@Newport_Vessels nice. I’d love to scoop one of these up eventually. Be great in the canals and inshore lakes
You can put 2 seats on it I presume?
Yeah 600# capacity
Is it possible to purchase another seat frame and install it on the track ? Is there room for that ?
Thanks Alex .
I think you can add a second seat, can't remember fur sure though

Saltwater ready? Seat position looks too high.
You'd be incredibly surprised, we think. We had some folks at the water demo say the same thing...until they tried it!
If the warranty for that is the same 2 years of the old Newport inflatables, then suck…
What warranty length would make it worth it for you?
@@Newport_Vessels minimum 3 years worth it for me.
I admire the kayak guys but if I cant stand up in it, im over it. It’s just way too cumbersome and ruins the experience for me. Go the extra stretch
