Much of the track beds of the midland railway are undeveloped and don't have greenways but most are duplicated lines. this is a prime area for line reinstatement to increase capacity.
Another great video , at Royston if you do some searching the inspection pits from the depot are still there, used to spot trains at Cudworth in the 70s it was a very busy place ,endless coal trains etc' happy days
@@daystatesniper01 me and @wetdogfbk had a rummage around and found them However lots of vegetation Jonny has done a video on it If you type Royston engine shed you’ll find his We have Said that will come back and rummage again so I can do a take on it when the vegetation dies down
Lovely video I often went through the long tunnel to train spot, as you got loads coming out of CARLTON south SIDINGS. Just to let you know, the post is a mileage post 176 miles to London, not a gradient post. Have a walk round where the engine shed used to be at ROYSTON. Not much left now.
@@ernestbailey9194 thank you ! Yes we did actually have a look around the site of the engine shed but it was overgrown so plan to go back in winter 😀 Wetdog ( guy in my video ) has done a video on the Royston engine shed if you check it out 😃
