I want from Steam OS to have proper TH-cam and Netflix support like a Console Experience. Its gonna be difficult if the market share is not big enough.
@@yewknight I do not think Netflix would do that simply becuase 4k Streaming is not possible with Firefox on AMD many features have been locked behind Propieretary Software like Windows or Grapshics Card like Nvidia.
Okay so please don't criticize people about speculation on SteamOS if you yourself do not understand. For instance, Valve does the QA for packaged drivers, they do have active roles in assisting with contributing to them but overall the mesa drivers are not maintained by them. They test and hold versions that work well with the Steamdeck API. Yes they have been holding the OS back because Nvidia and their drivers whether proprietary or from mesa. Mesa drivers still do not function well with Nvidia hardware. Can't control the hardware yet with them. If they released it today for the world, everyone with Nvidia is going to cry about it not working. Which is only partially true. Watch and see. 😊
Just installed Bazzite on my Rog Ally, it is so much better to use than Windows. It may be a little buggy here or there, but Windows on handhelds is buggy too. IT NOW SLEEPS AND WAKES!!!!!
Valve I just want a 500$ steam box with roughly PS5 performance with a steam controller 2 it's not hard don't do some weird unpowered steam deck chip but you give it 50 watts or some crap like that
If Valve is willing to sell them at cost they can easily get the hardware at bulk discount from AMD and it would run laps around the PS5 Pro at 500$... With the new gen AMD GPU's being rumored to be around 4080 performance for under 500$ they could easily beat the PS5 pro with a 200$ GPU.
@@DebasedAnon I think valve is going with an apu from AMD and I think even the top end 40cu strix halo chip is barely PS5 level of performance. But who knows I'll be excited for whatever valve releases we need more competition regardless.
@@Spencerwalker21 Depends what the 40CU's are, if they're RDNA 2 like in the PS5 then its gonna be in between a PS5 and a PS5 Pro, if they're RDNA 3 its already approaching PS5 pro territory, if its RDNA 4 then its easily going to be better than the PS5 Pro but I doubt Strix is using RDNA 4. A PS5 is the equivalent of an RX 5700, an RX 6700XT is an RDNA 2 GPU with 40CU's for comparison... if Strix uses RDNA 3 (probably the case) its gonna run laps around the PS5. Either way there isn't really a bad product they can make with any of the AMD stuff, it all depends on pricing, if its marginally slower than a PS5 Pro while costing half the amount its still an amazing build. if they want to match the PS5 Pro in terms of price then they can cram SIGNIFICANTLY more power into it since Valve is willing to sell their hardware at cost.
I can't wait for steamOS to finally released since I want to build a retro gaming PC with me 4060 GPU and I want a straight forward console-like UI instead of using windows.
I bought a steam deck last month and arrived after the new years (so sad, at that point no more holiday), but I really like it! I tried few games, Terraria runs well but not used to controls yet, Rimworld runs very well, the control not used to it yet but not difficult, but currently playing Star Ocean the Second Story R which is one of my all time favourite (the remake version is just so good, can't stop playing and won't stop except I need to sleep because of work the next day... It also runs crazy well on the deck, battle is smooth and I. Just. Love. It!!!!!!!) State of Decay 2 runs good in Low settings, I tried emudeck with Star Ocean 3, it runs PERFECT! I don't know later when I will have to do the dragon flute, but I'll think about it later.... I love it so much, that I can have full control with FPS limit, TDP limit, the choices is just so good. There's also built in FSR, seems good for playing with older emulated games. There's also built in screen recorder too, though too bad we can't choose AV1 or H265 or H264 manually, but I'm happy we can select bitrate at least. One of the shocking thing is, I install most of my games on microsd (SanDisk Extreme with sequential write around 60-70 MB/s and seq read 80-100 MB/s), IT RUNS SO WELL! Maybe a few more seconds on loading, but it really doesn't felt bad at all. I'm so happy!!!! At this rate I'm not using my PC for gaming anymore hahaha... Also tried installing non-steam games, and with Lutris it works great! Now, I need to figure out how to install mods on my non-steam version of FNV XD
Recently been streaming my high end PC through my Xbox Series S in my living room via Moonlight and Sunshine using Big Picture mode, and it is really damn good, although I would still kill for an actual Steam "console" as long as it's better than a Series X and easily does 60 fps for AAA games as standard.
Didnt the devs boast about getting better performance than KCD1? They apparently put a lot of focus into optimisation so running it at low-medium 45fps is probably gonna be doable.
I looked at the requirements and they're light. Also I've watched previews where people on 4070's can max it out at 4K and get 60fps. The devs have also said it gets better performance than KCD1 and if that's true, even if i'm taking it with a grain of salt, then it 100% will run well on Deck bc KCD1 runs at a locked 30 at medium settings.
I hope it lives up to the hype because I like the simplicity of steam os but at the same time the ability to use different software to enhance gaming on the windows side is hard to beat as we are dealing with lower end gaming hardware
If they can make and support a full OS/linux distro that is as stable as macOS but doesn’t have the bloatware and spyware of windows/macOS, I would pay for it. Especially if they offer it open source.
As an old person someone who hasn't owned a hand held gaming device since a gameboy (and not counting the Switch), but eyeballing a Steamdeck for a year. Should I buy one now? Or should I wait for ... something to come out? Or should I get something totally different? I'm in no rush.
I just grabbed my SteamDeck OLED a year ago. I'm new to the community and still obsessed with this thing. I drag it everywhere, especially when I know I'm going to be somewhere long and waiting. I'm overjoyed with this thing and I hope we don't get a new one for a couple more years. I'd hate for them to drop one because of all the new recent handhelds releasing. I'm glad they're taking their time to drop a competitive product and worrying about Battery Life.
@@iamweebboi4392 You're going to love it. Good move on going for the OLED, it definitely make a difference. Love the experience of having these games on the go now. Before all I had was my Switch OLED but grabbing this was a game changer.
I don't want a deck 2 yet. I just upgraded my deck Lcd to the OLED at christmas. And my god the screen is stunning!!! Also how much power does one want in their handheld. AAA games are kinda wasted on a tiny 7inch screen. I save these for my desktop computer and OLED monitor, for proper immersion ❤
Steam was ahead of the times trying the Steam Box back in the day. That was before people were so fed up with the other stuff out there and the switch hadn't come out, which was bigger for gaming than people think.
They need to produce a full desktop version that does not require steam log in and is not immutable.. I just have a feeling maintaining a desktop distribution is something Valve does not want to do in the slightest.
9:34 steam could dominate the TV/media center market if they create apps for streaming services. The smart TV market is saturated with some of the most heinous anti consumer, anti privacy practices.
It’s crazy when you think how happy people are that valve is putting their OS everywhere, and people love it. But Xbox is rumor to be doing the same with their OS and people hate it. The world is a crazy place. * for context, I am a steam deck and Xbox gamer.
Xbox and Windows limit it. If you get xbox os your gonna have to buy all your games from Microsoft. The steamdeck for now is still a pc first and you can still get your games from else where
Cause Valve has over 2 decades of good will and pro consumer decisions behind then while Microsoft is horrendously anti consumer and the crap they've been pulling with Win11 is why the amount of people looking to switch to Linux has skyrocketed. Why would anyone trust and be excited for Microsoft exactly?
@monki_sudo You seem to have no idea what the actual situation with game pass is, its not anywhere as successful as they need it to be, their entire console division is a joke. Game pass has a tiny fraction of a tiny fraction of games, each game they add to it increases their costs while their numbers arent impressive. If you think Gamepass has a chance at beating Steam you're delusional, there is a reason Steam has control over PC gaming, its cause its by far and away the best service with the most games. Add to all of that the fact that Microsoft have earned a massive amount of disdain and you have a recipe for another flop. The whole reason Linux is even a hot topic is because of the mass amounts of people pissed at Microsoft. Also you seem to believe Steam is the niche one in this scenario, Steam has hit 40mil people online at once, for reference total PS5 sales are in the 50mil range and they're outselling Xbox by a hilarious margin. Valve are the ones in control Microsoft just has more money to set on fire while failing to compete.
@monki_sudo Read what you wrote again. The reason Steam created their own os in the first place is because windows tried to creat there own store with widows 10 and if that did well they would have locked pc games to there store. We got lucky for now but your mad wild if you think xbox os is going support other launchers.
I haven't heard anyone else say this, but I hope with all these Steam devices come out and buyers spread their money out that Devs don't stop making games optimized for OG Steam Decks
I kinda wish valve didn't ditch the steam link. I know you can use apps on a lot of devices, and I bought one when they announced it was being discontinued, but it's such a good solution to wanting a console experience if you already have a gaming pc.
so so so true, I think valve might be the "historical" reason why linux finally destroys all close source which is totally unexpected of the currently educated
honestly not surprising that valve isn't limiting the use of SteamOS outside of their hardware/control. why would they care? even people running Bazzite still purchase steam games which makes them 30% so if anything it's a win for them. obviously if more OEM's would start developing hardware running SteamOS out of the box that's just awesome too. they've done something amazing with the steam deck but i totally understand that some people would want a bit more performance or a more tailored approach towards their specific usecase. valve still makes money from everybody buying the games on their platform and they don't have to do all of the hardware development all over again. the big BUT in this scenario is that they need to have a stable and flexible OS that allows for this kind of thing but judging by Bazzite that's not out of the question either.
It's been a while since I tinkered with machines running Linux and Nvidia. But if I recall correctly, the main issue with Nvidia on Linux is that their driver is proprietary. So unless there's a big push from users, support for new machines, or help from Nvidia itself, the support for Nvidia might not improve quickly.
Should I buy a Steam Deck or get an Ally X and put Steam OS on it when it comes out. I want to be able to play games like POE2, Diablo, Wow, etc along with emulations.
All 3 of the games you mentioned work on Deck. POE2 starts fine but gets harder to run as you get deeper but I've put a hundred hours into Diablo on Deck and it's great. WoW I know works well too. Emulators are a dream.
My question regarding legion+steamOS is hoe will OS be supported? Steam releases update and is up to the manufacturer decide if yhey want to update (like android) or will steam be pushing the upfates directly themselves (like microsoft). Honestly snd judging by the track record of some third party hardware manufacturers id prefer steam opts gor the direct approach
My guess for a new Steam Deck is end of 2025 there will be an anouncement with a new custom APU by AMD Like 8x5c cores 16-20 CUs 24/32 Gb Ram 7,4" OLED 800p/900p
Valve will have to be careful about spreading themselves too thin. That is the big problem Windows has. Steam Deck works amazingly, because it is one a single hardware configuration with a dedicated development kit. That allows console level optimization for games on this device. I like were they are going, offering both the console experience and the desktop experience on a single device, it is like the launch PS3 with XMB and other OS! It is the best of both worlds. If they can keep it highly optimized, and bring it to Console, VR, and Mobile, they could deliver the end all, be all ecosystem. They just have to do this, while not trying to turn it into a restrictive walled garden, if they find massive success.
honestly i cant wait for people to see the potential of steams voice chat ... it is almost better than Discord and is in some ways... when this os releases i hope they spend some time on it cus im tired of Discords bs
Yeah that would be amazing, especially if they tailored it to work fantastically with SteamOS since Discord on Linux has a ton of little issues you need to iron out for it to even work properly, like getting it to detect your mute keybinds when the app isnt focused.
Gamepass is a malignant tumor... Don't let it become an uncurable disease, please... There are so much alternatives if you can't afford to pay for games at full price. Look at Fanatical, Humble Bundle, GoG and Steam sales...
the only problem with this is SteamOS going to all these handhelds that are releasing more horse power with their units and the steamdeck community being stuck with the steamdeck with no upgrades for us. but the love of the optimization for the games with it really makes me happy to own one but they are going to have to look at something towards the future if not make a new steamdeck at least give us a hub or something where we can hook a ext GPU to it for those who are into that kinda of thing. i myself couldnt be happier with my OLED and raw power is something that doesnt interest me that much if that was the case id just go play over on my laptop.
well honestly while we are discussing the potential i would like to add to it.. why not install steam os on smart tvs? we see samsung and sony etc in commercials saying how great their tvs are for gaming? why not just put steam os on there and then manufactors can add a gpu to the tv for the moneys they save on making their own os. that wuld be as seamless as it gets or adding gpus to gaming monitors... no need for a box. a box would be considerd premium buysings and we save a lot on making materials for all kinds if the only thing you had to think about was turning on a screen and thats it. then you could have tv or monitors for casual stuff too. like deviding the sector more to have better tailored products for what you need. like how there exist specific tools for a specific task at the farm or home
Been messing with steam deck os last night only issue so far is it keeps installing to my usb stick im instslling from got a few ideas on how to fix it but didnt have time last night ffs
Ah... another day and another 3 battery life cycles of my Steam Deck Oled went by :) 3 million alone in 2023... what about 2024 or 2022? :D I bet there are a lot more Steam Decks out there ;) Pinguin Power FTW!
Hi, can you please do a video going into the processor numbers of the APU in a SteamDeck and crap? hah, no please dont... not really :D In seriousness, totally onboard with everything here, I watch a fair few Valve leaks type things as well and SteamDeck 2 just doesn't feel like anything Valve would even care about now. They tend to design something for quite a while until they are convinced it's a 'game changer' (yeah that's deliberate). they trow it out and they leave it for a LONG time before coming back to it. Half Life Half Life 2 The entire lack of Half Life 3 - Gabe said that they had no game changing reason to finish Half Life 3, that it wouldn't bring anything new.. Deckard has been cooking for a LONG time now. The new controllers (and the suprising lack of commentary on it ;) ) The Freemont console... (and that one is VERY interesting if you also watch sadlyitsbradley) So yeah, I don't expect a SteamDeck 2 for a long time, not until I can plug whatever is currently in the Meta Quest line into it... yeah, think about THAT APU requirement... ;)
Hi and thank Jimmy I have been following you for a while it was you and several others who convinced me to get a Steam deck last year and it's the best investment I ever made for gaming.. Keep up the good work..
i wonder if playstation and xbox are not gonna arrive too late to the party for handlelds... maybe better to just port their games to steam as they do now
9:46 my theory is valve has already tapped Lenovo for manufacturing Deckard or its components, so this steam handheld is just the tip of the iceberg of their relationship.

I think it would be a mistake to allow others to release a console. I would buy a steam console, I wouldn’t touch others. They made this mistake with the steam machines 10 years ago
The narrative that Steam Deck is old and can’t run modern Triple A games is lame, yes it’s older, but I play Cyberpunk, Metaphor, and the newest versions of NBA and WWE with no problem on my Deck
I mean, Cyberpunk is over four years old and Metaphor was built with PS3 tech. It CAN run a lot of new AAA games but we're definitely at the point where it's going to run less of them than more.
Now try running ff 16, dragons dogmA 2, remnant 2, monster hunter wilds... And lets not forget that cyberpunkis old and it was had an optimization setup specific to SD. SD cant keep up anymore. Stop coping.
Got mine this week (500gb oled) and the only regret that I have right now is the fact that I delayed buying it for so long 😂 Be aware that if you have a big library (mine is +250 games) you will lose a ton of time choosing between games and which ones you want to play first
Buy it valve won’t come out with another model until they find a chipset that offers what they are looking for. I’ve had my oled for a year now and it’s great I love it reignited my passion for gaming
Customers just want games to work, so software houses like Rockstar or Epic, need to get they sheit together, else they risk getting upstaged by a competitor with similar gaming.
To be honest, if the Steam Machine is not cheap in a sense that makes me doubt about building a new PC, I would rather buy an old workstation, a used GPU and install Bazzite.
a Steam ''console'' for a modern tv would dominate. Just a cheap good pc for tv's. THAT would be so good.

no related at all?
Just installed Bazzite on my Rog Ally, it is so much better to use than Windows. It may be a little buggy here or there, but Windows on handhelds is buggy too. IT NOW SLEEPS AND WAKES!!!!!
Thunderbolt 5 will be a game changer for handhelds.
Valve I just want a 500$ steam box with roughly PS5 performance with a steam controller 2 it's not hard don't do some weird unpowered steam deck chip but you give it 50 watts or some crap like that
It's not likely to be cheaper than the top-end Steam Deck.
@malcaniscsm5184 batteries display ECT cost alot so I don't know why it can't cost leas then a top end steam deck.
@@Spencerwalker21
Depends what the 40CU's are, if they're RDNA 2 like in the PS5 then its gonna be in between a PS5 and a PS5 Pro, if they're RDNA 3 its already approaching PS5 pro territory, if its RDNA 4 then its easily going to be better than the PS5 Pro but I doubt Strix is using RDNA 4.
I’m all for what steam is doing and I’ll support them the whole way
Thank goodness they are updating the OS
cannot WAIT until the official release is out, with css loader it'll be such a fantastic home entertainment system
Just. Love. It!!!!!!!)
State of Decay 2 runs good in Low settings, I tried emudeck with Star Ocean 3, it runs PERFECT!
KCD2 is going to work on the Steam Deck? Where did you hear this? That is great news!
I want a Valve Steam Deck Portal to work off Steam OS on my gaming PC.
@ I don’t think they have released steam OS for PCs, so we don’t know yet if it will be open source.
As an old person someone who hasn't owned a hand held gaming device since a gameboy (and not counting the Switch), but eyeballing a Steamdeck for a year.
Should I buy one now?
Or should I wait for ... something to come out?
Or should I get something totally different?
I'm in no rush.
You’re good to get one now
I just grabbed my SteamDeck OLED a year ago.
Hey man how are you? My OLED comes tmr! How's the experience with games so far? Can't wait to play elden ring anywhere
@@iamweebboi4392 I love it, its been hard to put down. Good move on grabbing the OLED. It definitely makes a difference. You've gonna love it.
@@iamweebboi4392 You're going to love it. Good move on going for the OLED, it definitely make a difference. Love the experience of having these games on the go now. Before all I had was my Switch OLED but grabbing this was a game changer.
Z2 extreme looks okay. I'm glad they don't use it for the steam deck 2. Thanks for the video!
No problem!
I’m praying the Assetto Corsa Evo ( launch’s 16th Jan) will be playable on my OLED Deck. Yes I do sim racing online with my deck, using gyro steering😃
9:34 steam could dominate the TV/media center market if they create apps for streaming services. The smart TV market is saturated with some of the most heinous anti consumer, anti privacy practices.
exactly
It’s crazy when you think how happy people are that valve is putting their OS everywhere, and people love it.
But Xbox is rumor to be doing the same with their OS and people hate it.
The world is a crazy place.
* for context, I am a steam deck and Xbox gamer.
Bc Microsoft will make it overly complicated and expensive and only on Microsoft devices most likely
@monki_sudo
You seem to have no idea what the actual situation with game pass is, its not anywhere as successful as they need it to be, their entire console division is a joke.
@monki_sudo
Read what you wrote again.
The reason Steam created their own os in the first place is because windows tried to creat there own store with widows 10 and if that did well they would have locked pc games to there store. We got lucky for now but your mad wild if you think xbox os is going support other launchers.
Valve is every PC handhelds friend. We ALL win!
But this mean valve canceled steam deck so they will give care for lenovo go s and other devices had steamOs
This will be like update to the steam deck we know or a different consol
I haven't heard anyone else say this, but I hope with all these Steam devices come out and buyers spread their money out that Devs don't stop making games optimized for OG Steam Decks
Is it worth getting a steam deck now or waiting?
I kinda wish valve didn't ditch the steam link. I know you can use apps on a lot of devices, and I bought one when they announced it was being discontinued, but it's such a good solution to wanting a console experience if you already have a gaming pc.
Yeah, it could use a refresh for sure
Dedicated stream box was nice start but not worth it tbh. Steam Deck can do the same and can play laying on couch/bed
so so so true, I think valve might be the "historical" reason why linux finally destroys all close source which is totally unexpected of the currently educated
I love this niche community, honestly considering starting the same in Spanish
Do it!
honestly not surprising that valve isn't limiting the use of SteamOS outside of their hardware/control. why would they care? even people running Bazzite still purchase steam games which makes them 30% so if anything it's a win for them.
obviously if more OEM's would start developing hardware running SteamOS out of the box that's just awesome too. they've done something amazing with the steam deck but i totally understand that some people would want a bit more performance or a more tailored approach towards their specific usecase. valve still makes money from everybody buying the games on their platform and they don't have to do all of the hardware development all over again. the big BUT in this scenario is that they need to have a stable and flexible OS that allows for this kind of thing but judging by Bazzite that's not out of the question either.
Valve won't remove Bassite as the money is made from the Steam store not the OS.
@monki_sudo They can't remove it, but they if they chose to make it difficult for them.
LTT loaded it last week on a PC
Valve should just hire the devs that built Bazzite, from there SteamOS validation would be fast-tracked on other hardware.
Right??
It could be possible Valve was testing the Z2 for Fremont. 🤷♂️
I think they would use the Deck APU
Should I buy a Steam Deck or get an Ally X and put Steam OS on it when it comes out. I want to be able to play games like POE2, Diablo, Wow, etc along with emulations.
All 3 of the games you mentioned work on Deck. POE2 starts fine but gets harder to run as you get deeper but I've put a hundred hours into Diablo on Deck and it's great. WoW I know works well too. Emulators are a dream.
If there is a steam console coming I’d love one that way I can just have my steam deck as portable only instead of in a hybrid role
It’s rumored. I hope it is true. I hate Sony and I’m disappointed in xbox
My question regarding legion+steamOS is hoe will OS be supported? Steam releases update and is up to the manufacturer decide if yhey want to update (like android) or will steam be pushing the upfates directly themselves (like microsoft). Honestly snd judging by the track record of some third party hardware manufacturers id prefer steam opts gor the direct approach
my fiance got me a steam deck cos im disabled and gaming on a laptop in bed sucks. love the steam deck. love love love
My guess for a new Steam Deck is end of 2025 there will be an anouncement with a new custom APU by AMD
Like 8x5c cores
16-20 CUs
24/32 Gb Ram
7,4" OLED 800p/900p
Finally! he gave up on the intro... approved!
Now I’m bringing it back
Valve will have to be careful about spreading themselves too thin.
Honestly, I don't think I'll ever be a Steam OS person, unless Gamepass starts being available on it.
It should be SteamOS 4 with a move like this
well honestly while we are discussing the potential i would like to add to it.. why not install steam os on smart tvs? we see samsung and sony etc in commercials saying how great their tvs are for gaming? why not just put steam os on there and then manufactors can add a gpu to the tv for the moneys they save on making their own os. that wuld be as seamless as it gets or adding gpus to gaming monitors... no need for a box. a box would be considerd premium buysings and we save a lot on making materials for all kinds if the only thing you had to think about was turning on a screen and thats it. then you could have tv or monitors for casual stuff too. like deviding the sector more to have better tailored products for what you need. like how there exist specific tools for a specific task at the farm or home
Been messing with steam deck os last night only issue so far is it keeps installing to my usb stick im instslling from got a few ideas on how to fix it but didnt have time last night ffs
If you think about it, Steam ALWAYS saw this threat, even 10-11 years back, when Windows 8 tried shoving everyone into the WinRT ecosystem.
Ah... another day and another 3 battery life cycles of my Steam Deck Oled went by :)
3 million alone in 2023... what about 2024 or 2022? :D I bet there are a lot more Steam Decks out there ;) Pinguin Power FTW!
I had steam OS on my desktop PC. Would I be able to access the meta-VRPC app?
Anyone have any experience with Steam VR on Steam OS/Bazzite? Any drawbacks vs Windows?
Hi, can you please do a video going into the processor numbers of the APU in a SteamDeck and crap? hah, no please dont... not really :D
In seriousness, totally onboard with everything here, I watch a fair few Valve leaks type things as well and SteamDeck 2 just doesn't feel like anything Valve would even care about now.
They tend to design something for quite a while until they are convinced it's a 'game changer' (yeah that's deliberate). they trow it out and they leave it for a LONG time before coming back to it.
Half Life
Half Life 2
The entire lack of Half Life 3 - Gabe said that they had no game changing reason to finish Half Life 3, that it wouldn't bring anything new..
Deckard has been cooking for a LONG time now.
The new controllers (and the suprising lack of commentary on it ;) )
The Freemont console... (and that one is VERY interesting if you also watch sadlyitsbradley)
So yeah, I don't expect a SteamDeck 2 for a long time, not until I can plug whatever is currently in the Meta Quest line into it... yeah, think about THAT APU requirement... ;)
Hi and thank Jimmy I have been following you for a while it was you and several others who convinced me to get a Steam deck last year and it's the best investment I ever made for gaming.. Keep up the good work..
That's awesome to hear. Fan the Deck and NerdNest are the nicest people I've met through TH-cam. I can't recommend their videos enough.
i wonder if playstation and xbox are not gonna arrive too late to the party for handlelds... maybe better to just port their games to steam as they do now
9:46 my theory is valve has already tapped Lenovo for manufacturing Deckard or its components, so this steam handheld is just the tip of the iceberg of their relationship.
Oh man, that's interesting!
Dude, most schools and start-ups are on Google workspaces, small business are on iPads, Microsoft office is down to 25%
Gamers are the last bastion for windows, without them it’s legacy businesses only
Can you have links to your other channels or im I being think and there are links that I can’t find

@ thanks
I have one but no clue how to get the games on it besides out of the steam shop. And they don't make it easy to do either lol
Look up non steam launchers for deck. 1 click setup 👍
@DeckReady ty so much I will try that
I want it on my 2080s 3900x 😢 I mean just make it compatible for nvidia, I would not mnd using my 2080s at the performance of 2060-2070 for a few months, I just wanna move away from windows mate... I don't mind if I loose DLSS, rather SteamOS than DLSS imo
I think it would be a mistake to allow others to release a console. I would buy a steam console, I wouldn’t touch others. They made this mistake with the steam machines 10 years ago
Just need a better way to connect this bad boy to the meta quest for 2D gaming
steam deck 2!, 2 early to come out so much so it might miss the Full ray tracing(path tracing) feature eh
Hope SteamOS 3 finally give us an Wukong Verification.
Stop coping.
and your are extremely nice, thank you sir
You are very welcome!
Just asking should I buy a deck oled 1tb early February or wait for the next one?
buy, its dope, got mine in december!
Got mine this week (500gb oled) and the only regret that I have right now is the fact that I delayed buying it for so long 😂
Be aware that if you have a big library (mine is +250 games) you will lose a ton of time choosing between games and which ones you want to play first
Buy it valve won’t come out with another model until they find a chipset that offers what they are looking for. I’ve had my oled for a year now and it’s great I love it reignited my passion for gaming
Got my oled 1tb maybe a week ago. Do it.
Buy!
Jimmy we have the same birthday
So buy a steam deck now ore wait for steam OS on the new Lenovo Legion Go?! -,- I’m stuck. Mainly going to play Trackmania
Customers just want games to work, so software houses like Rockstar or Epic, need to get they sheit together, else they risk getting upstaged by a competitor with similar gaming.
Id rather get a steam pc lol, pretty hard for a steam console to be able to run on on huge tvs that have 4k resolution
I'm always nice... as long as you don't throw that Weird Last Stand Media Biased Xbox hate out there...
To be honest, if the Steam Machine is not cheap in a sense that makes me doubt about building a new PC, I would rather buy an old workstation, a used GPU and install Bazzite.
