The dystopian civillization of Blade Runner has always sparks an irk of interest and curiosity within me too. The bright neon lights, skyscrappers, flying cars, foggy atmosphere, grim looking towns and deserted cities. People in the 80s imagined this to be the 2020s.
Thank you for your lines, mate. I never had the chance to watch the first Blade Runner movie on the big screen. Simply was too young back then. Vangelis has a special place in my heart. I tried a little tribute with my video Zhora.
The sad part of BR's release was it's date. The same week as ET and you know who had the bigger advertising budget and mass appeal of course. BR was seen as an alternative cyber-punk specialty movie and struggled to pull in the masses. Years went by and of course the cult status for the film was justly deserved and credited to the amazing creators and writer Mr. Dick.
@@donnybrooklads .... Another notable thing about the movie Blade Runner was the cast. There were a lot of actors that were not that well known but went on to make some great careers for themselves. As you can see and hear… NO RAIN ☔️😂 So let me know what you think about it. // Some lines about the topic of the visuals and sounds: Despite the demands of his hard job, K, also known as Joe, sometimes needs a break. He finds solace in the loneliness of the dark, foggy emptiness of Los Angeles in 2049. These moments of solitude offer him a brief respite from his relentless duties and the chance to reflect on his existence. K's line of duty is complex and challenging. He grapples with profound questions about his identity and purpose, especially as he discovers secrets about his origins and the potential for replicant evolution. This journey of self-discovery leads him to question the morality of his actions and sympathize with the replicants he is tasked with retiring. Through his journey, K evolves from a compliant, obedient replicant into a character seeking deeper meaning and understanding in a world where the lines between human and replicant are increasingly blurred.
