They put there name in the video to show that they made this video, and this channel isn't known for stealing videos in fact (if I recall correctly) people have stolen/copied there videos before)
Have you ever heard of coincidences?. It's entirety possible this TH-camr by pure coincidence could have made a video just like someone else (who you haven't said the name of the channel you are taking about). And as I've said this TH-camr isn't known for stealing or copying videos, they even are against that type of stuff so why do you think they'd just become a hypocrite
The fact you aren't even saying the name of the channel that you claim this channel decided to steal a video from inherently makes what you claim less likely to be true. For all I know you could have just watched the non remade version of this video on this channel but don't remember it being the same channel, it's also possible you might not truly remember what you said but think you remember it
